"Deal!" Pulling out her artpad from her pocket -surprisingly always larger than the pocket it came from- Relm slid it across the table to Kaleb then dug around in her pocket for a writing utensil other than a paintbrush. Pulling one out with a triumphant little sound she passed the pencil over as well. "I'll look into these amusement parks & see when they open & all that stuff. Unless you'd rather go to the one you did before? If you do, write the name of that one down too."
Relm was talking very fast but that was nothing compared to the speed of her thoughts. "Lemmie know if you've other friends you want to invite. We'll want to keep the numbers even -rollarcoasters are only two seats wide right?- or someone will have to sit by themselves."

Kaleb blinked a bit. "I-I think some are three and four seats wide," he said absentmindedly, taking the pencil and writing down his number in a more legible form of his usual graceful scrawl. He passed the notepad and pencil back after he was done.

He worked on finished off his drink while Kaleb gave Relm his number. Maybe Kaleb would have some friends who'd want to go. Lords knew he didn't He doubted anyone wanted to be stuck going somewhere like that with Reno.

"Really? I've only seen pictures of two seaters." Shrugging she took the pad & pencil back with a grin. "Not a big deal -it'll be fun!"

Kaleb smiled and his tail started wagging again. It would be fun, he would really enjoy spending some time with Riley as well as the friends he didn't see too often. He completely finished off his chocolate milk and then glanced over at his partner. "Riley, how much time do we have left?"

"Um .." He looked down at his watch. "About ten minuets" That was plenty of time for them to get back to the office before Rufus would start glaring at them.

A flicker of disappointment touched Relm's light green eyes to be hidden by a smile within a second's time. "Then you'd better finish up & get going." Gathering her things, the pictomancer carried them to the front counter to pay. "Leave your things there when you're finished... I'll get them in a minute.
Ivan Petrov had been softly singing something in Russian from the kitchen when he wandered back out into the main restaurant when he caught a glimpse of the artist by his old fashioned cash register. Soft friendly bickering could be heard exchanged between the two -which Relm won, grinning as she paid for her meal.

Kaleb fidgeted with uncertainty, he hadn't been able to finish the last of his soup even though it had been delicious, and he would have been much more comfortable doing something with his dishes rather than just leaving them on the table.
