She glanced at KB, then once around her, as she sighed, holding the jacket tightly around her chest. I dont htink Focht would Mind if I found us a room, to unwind in and perhaps take a shower? She asked as she took serveral steps towards Kb. Design my own gown? afford a wardrobe? seems rather exciting, as woman i love to be ravished in gowns... she giggled as she shrugged, gently holding up the lowe rhalf of her dress before it dropped. She was rather a mess, and not dressed well to be talking about gowns. she glanced once more aorund for focht will your men bring focht to me immeditatly(sp) as soon as he arrives? She sounded a bit more concerned, and serious, as she walked up beside Kb.

"But of course!" He excalimed, spinning about to grasp Sairys. He attempted to draw her up into his arms, playfully scooping her into a hold worthy of a bride. "We'll get you a room, cleaned up, and I'll have Focht drop in on you as soon as he arrives, alright?" He asked, gazing down upon her intently. He realised the seriousness of her concern, and so his eyes remained on hers, red irises locking with her bright blues.
Without waiting for an answer he'd be moving towards the nearby elevator system. Sairys needed to be doted upion for awhile, and he was just the man to do it, until Focht arrived.

She was glancing off as Kb Turned and grasped her into a hold. She Grabbed along of Kb by surpriseas she wasnt expecting fo rhim to react that way. She glanced up at him with an arched brow Thank you....um Kb I think I can Walk... her dress flowed freely fomr under her legs where Kb's arm would be, as her legs partially exposed, to tie up heels.

Tegral had left the fireing range some time prior to Sairys' arrival onboard, onboard monitoring systems downloading the sudden interruptiong of day to day workings straight into the Admiral's head. No matter, KB was about and could take care of things relatively quikly enough. No what he was doing walking towards the bay was waiting for somone. Kah had recieved orders to return, immediately, to the Cradle as a new mission had been instructed. A smile turned his lips at the arrival of two more class C battleships and their escorts of destroyers, friggates, and cruisers.
The GFN. Hawk and the GFN. Eagle, both fine vessals despite being horribly out gunned by the Halo unit already abroad, warpped in a mere half hour ago with the usual jaw dropping electric rend in the fabric of space and time. Huge crackling bolts of white energy, pure in the vacuum of space, reaching out to lick the velvety black of emptiness before receedining into nothingness. And there, to mark the unfurling of such an event, a twin pair of battle ships loomed like the birds of prey they had been named for plus their respective counter parts. Five friggates apeice circled about their hulls, massive things when compared to the fighters docked in the Cradle's bays they were easily dwarfed by the mobile gun platforms that steadily flew in the battleship's awe inspireing wake. Four destroyers, all class B or better, pulled forth from the gravity well created from their titanic charges and let the full extent of their sensors reach out to prob the system. Destroyers, unlike their Cruiser cousins, did not house as much firepower - despite being literal gun boats - but could easily fall atop even the most vigilance of crews with their long range sensor nodes, extreme range rail gun hard points, and multitude of sensory deprevation systems. A single cruiser, massive when compared to the friggates or the destroyers yet still a babe next to the battleships, hung to the rear and allowed the destroyers to take point. In effectiveness the cruiser's first real introduction to the Navy came at the hands of the Seelians, huge wormlike creatures that lived beneith their planet's surface. Massive hulks that cruised through the front lines rent ships and stations with equal ease considering their myadrid of missile launchers, heavy shielding implacements, and state of the art tracking systems. A deadly force to be sure.
Stopping just prior to the bay's hatch, the image of KB attempting to sweep Sairys away like a knight in shining armor prodominent on his vid screens, Tegral was stopped by an average looking man, average despite the air of confidence and command he rode upon his shoulders. "Admiral?" He inquired politely, having been pointed out to by one of the service techs the moment he came into view. Waiting for the Admiral to nod sollemly he continued what he was to say. "My name is Captain Orinhold, of the Helion, sir. The other Captains of my unit requested me to come aboard personally and get a sit rep and orders." Of course they could have simply had them sent via com channel, but one really got the feel of their mission and their duty by guageing their commanding officer.
The Admiral turned, took one look at the Captain and knew he was being sized up. "The situation is peaceful, at the moment. We have roughly six battle cruisers, nation unknown, floating in relative proximity to the station in regards to being in the solar system. Your mission is simple enough. Guard the station until such time as the Sea of Stars Gala comes to an end."
That was it? Guard a dance? What a load, he was about to say as much when the Admiral began speaking again. "Think of it as a state ball, a gathering of ambassedors and powerful figure heads from the planet below to discuss politics in an attempt to form a unified planet. Boreing, I know, but the Halo unit's sheer strength is more than appreciated. That is all, Captain."
The Captain, no longer feeling the mission a complete waste, gave his finest salute and started off in the direction of his shuttle. It'd be ready to fly in another half an hour, until then he was going to go take a nap or something. Well, one thing was for certain, the Admiral definately wasn't one to waste time or dink around. Precise and too the point, the kindwho kept his people alive by knowing exactly what was going on at all times. A smile graced his lips, if those six battle cruisers tried anything they'dh have four very large, very deadly, class A battle ships to contend with. Not to mention, if his ship's scanners were any indication, another sizeable force just warped in.
The Admiral, standing there, had just recieved confirmation that the bird of prey and their defensive unit had arrived. "Excellent." He muttered to himself as he started towards the bay. Kah better arrive soon.

"Nonsense! You can hardly keep that dress together, there's no sense found in having you walk to your room. Trust me Sairys, I take no pleasure in carrying a lump like you to and fro, cross my heart and hope to die." He smirked and would continue to carry her, teasing her all in good fun as he did. In truth his affections for her were nothing short of sporadic, resting on friendly for the moment. Focht had still yet to make his appearance, so playing favorites just seemed the thing to do.
It wouldn't be long before they'd arrived in the residential sector, some small parts still being reformed. KB had chsen to give her a place that was more than a simple dorm, and so he stepped through the large parting blast doors and into a clear, sunny day in the bristling town of Enid. At least that's the way it seemed, as a multitude of machines worked hard to keep up the illusion. People bustled about both in uniform and out fromh ouse to house and building to building, KB soon finding an unoccupied one.
The roster would update int he Cradle automatically as he entered, setting Sairys to rest in the middle of the essential 'Living room'. "You'll have to forgive the size Sairys, we're catering to many after all. I assure you your abode is nearly as large as mine, though you'll have to add some touchups." He told her, gesturing to the inside. The entire building consisted of essentially a few rooms, this main sitting room acting as a livingroom/dining room, an enhanced storage area much akin to an oversized walk-in closet, and naturally the master bedroom in which Sairys would find a bathtub, a luxury on board a militant station that otherwise had simple shower stalls.
"I took the liberty of assuming you and Focht could share a room, be sure to tell me if that's a problem. Oh, and Sairys, as a prime-founder and therefore a high-ranking official on board this station, you can feel free to request anything you might need to cloth or furnish yourself. The crew is being orientated of your status as we speak. You'll find a change of clothes to your right, laying on the bed in there. Naturally I'll be sending Focht as soon as he arrives, though you're welcome to wander. Just hollar if ya need anything." He assured her, gently patting her on the back as he turned to leave via the upwards sliding door. As it stood the interior of the place was a dull mixture of grays and blacks, mostly squared shapes. It was waiting for both physical and simply holographic change, as one could already see the many styles chosen on the other homes of the multi-tiered and essentially hillside-stacked town.
KB assumed his door would soon appear to be oak, but wasn't sure of Sai's tastes in doors.

The place was beautiful, as he had created such a town inside a ship, and it seemed to be peaceful. She was a bit surprised to how Kb was treating her, and how warming he was to her arrival, she felt somewhat spoiled to be carried around. As they entered to be what would be her quarters with Focht, she was amazed at the size of the cradle and the wonders it held inside. As Kb was explaining whould would be her house, she was busy glancing around, she smiled and nearly speechless as she glanced at KB. Prime - founder? High ranking official?..... she questioned as she wasn't expecting to have such titles on something she never seen before., she held onto Kb as she squirmed herself from his arms as he settle dher in the living room, and took serveral steps around glancing at the place, as she held onto the jacket from opening up. At the mention of clean clothes she strolled to where the bed was. Kb your spoiling me with all of this....

"No, not really. Now, the cafeterias and such are optimal for food and such, but I took the liberty of assuming you might like more... intimate means, on occasion." KB told her as she moved away, moving to a nearby countertop. His fingers slid over it's top gracefully before gently tapping a subtle button. From the counter seamlessly a square of it would fold upwards, sliding back and down into place to reveal a stainless steel sink. With a soft sigh KB continued down the counter, tapping another button to part the counter to reveal burner tops, obviously an oven.
Sighing softly to himself he glanced around the room, idly wondering. "It'll take some adjustments to the prgramming for visual effet, but the end result should remaint he same. If you'd like I can arrange for 'real' furniture to be brought in, as well as other materials. You need simply ask." He assured her once again, before sighing and breaking away from the bar-styled kitchen.

Sai glanced at him as he started pushing buttons, and the kitchen magically appeared, she wasn't used to such technology but it was amazing. She smiled as she glanced at the counter and ran her gunalet claw like fingers along the top gently. i will be amused as i get used to this....I guess you can say i'm an ol' Fashison woman... her fingers tapped slighty as she turned her body away from the counter top and walked over to Kb. Hugging him slighty with one arm, tightly but softly, as she whisoered a thank you. once she pulle dback, she glanced down at herself. Oh i almost forgot.... She slipped out of his jacket as she covered her bare chest with her arm, and handed him the jacket.

KB would return the hug, gently squeezing Sai and smirking before she withdrew. He nodded then, turning to leave. Upon her mention of the coat he waved it off, glancing over his shoulder. "Forget it, I've got tonnes of them. Consider it a souveneir." He offered with a chuckle, his hand ddropping as he approached the door. Stepping out into the warm sunlight there he flexed his shoulders, waving to a couple of passing residents. "Seeya Sairys!" He exclaimed as the door closed behind him, his shoes scuffing the dusty cement as he began to explore his little city.

Sai dropped the jacket to her side as she held onto it. She watched him leave with a smile, and shook her head, as she sighed and glance around the place. where to start?...perhaps a bath.. She gggled as she headed to where Kb mention would be a room. Sai tossed the jacket onto the bed beside a Red evening gown, that was layed upon the bed. Sh ewalked closer to it and ran her fingers along the fabric and smiled. She then glanced around to set her eyes on a bath tub. She walked over to it as she glanced to see how to summon the water.

Focht stepped through the portal, and dropped to his knees. The bones in his arm weren't set and it was almost an unbearable throbbing pain. More worried about getting the pain to stop, he quickly undid the sling Sai had made him and let it fall to the floor next to him. Grabbing his upper arm just below the break, Focht pulled the break apart and slowly set it into the right position. When it was in the right spot, ice formed in and around the break to splint it. Repeating this for his lower arm, he wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings. This form of a splint allowed the arm to be used to some extent while it healed.
When he was done, Focht took a moment to relax. The drop of blood that hit is arm surprised him, not realizing he had been bitting his lip ever since he stepped through the portal. He licked some of the blood from his lip, wiping the rest on the sleeve of his shirt as he looked around.
"Where did that portal put me....?"

Sai had figured out how to run the hot bath water, as she wondered around her Place, while the tub filled. She had grabbed atowel and placed it up against her chest to cover any exposure. After a fe wmintues She returned to the tub and turned off the water. She gently placed the towel at the edge near the top, as she undressed herself, of whatever was left of her dress. tip toeing into the water, she let herself sink into the water, until she was completely submerged undereanth, her hand holding onto the egdes gently to help keep her under. the burning sensation of the water was soothing, not to the point it was burning, but a warm feeling over her body.
After a few moments she raise dher head out of the water as she gently wiped the water drops off her face and rested her head against the back and into the towel.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After her warm bath, Sai had dressed herself with a white dress shirt largely large a bit, perhaps it was a male's shirt, and some Brown shorts. She found herself a apir of Knee high Black boots with some leather buckles along the front. Sai rubbed her head gently with a towel as she gently pulled the towel away and letting her moisten blonde hair drop down along her shoulders and back. She glance sighed gently as she was worried about Focht. She tossed the towel onto the floor beside the bed, as she crawled onto it and flopped onto her stomach, against the pillows, She pulled one to her side as she held it and nuzzled her head into it, as she ran her fingers through her hair to fan it out along the pillows behind her. Soon enough Her blue eyes shut, as she was finally able to relax.
Focht would find, upon inspection, that he was just where the portal was meant to bring him. That is, right in the way of a snapping foot, a swift kick aimed to take the fallen man in the ribs. The owner and delivery boy of such an item was none other than KB, still dressed as earlier and yet to replace his jacket-top. "Dear, sweet Focht... When it comes to the safety os Sairys... Never. And I repeat this to you, clearly. NEVER, again be tardy." One might see it as a threat or perhaps painful motivation, whichever it was KB hoped it'd get the job done.
There he would stand, sighing as he snapped his fingers. "She's been worried about you, I have her set up in the new residential sector. I think you'll find Enid to your liking, if not only for sentimental value." KB informed Focht politely, holding no malive even after trying to strike the man. It was a matter of business after all, not to be mixed with pleasures such as meeting an old ally of the Black Company. "Oh and Focht, despite your advanced regenerative capabilities I'd like for my physicians to take a look at you later, if that's alright? Now. Up-up, don't make me carry you like Sai." He chuckled then, snapping his fingers as a man dressed in a stoic white labcoat approached.
Focht could be poked and tested on later, and perhaps KB might manage to find out the nature of the eye injury.
Focht wasn't ready for the kick to the ribs, having been more focused on his arm. Luckily, the kick was aimed at his right side where the ribs weren't broken but it still made him cringe as he planted his left hand on the floor to keep from falling over. It took Focht a moment to get to his feet after the kick and he some how managed to keep his temper in check and not return the favor to KB. He listened but didn't respond to the threat for now, prefering just to find Sai and get some rest.
"No need for the physicians, I will be fine KB. I just need some rest."
He waited for KB to lead the way, hoping to get they layout of this place down soon.
He nodded, assured Focht was smart enough to weight the pros anc cons of overreacting to such a simple gesture. "Alright, I'll leave you be for now. Come." Kb offered, gesturing ahead. With that he began to walk, promptly leading the way through the halls and twisting corridors. The occasional map would show a small section of the Cradle, panning over sections before zooming out to show the great expanse that was the Cradle.
Nothing short of epic.
After some time of walking, silently for KB's part, they would reach the same large blast doors as before. They were still parted as to allow the steady stream of people in and out, the fresh air of Enid wafting into the recycled air of the halls. The sun was setting in the holographic display of the hill town, the air nice and cool. KB would move swiftly to one of the buildings, the door sliding upwards to reveal the interior. "Here we are." he offered gesturing to the inside, stepping aside to let Focht enter and find his dear Sairys.
Idly KB wondered why he hadn't installed tear-gas vents into this sector.
