Hesitantly nodding, the shy boy offered a timid little smile for Guin. However, when he saw how distant she seemed, the boy's brow furrowed and he gave a small whine before offering his hand to her. As if he were trying to as 'are you ok'?

"i hope i can read it. Can Kotatsu read it?" He asked. He wasn't 100% sure but he was sure about not being sure. "mhm, Guin, you alright?" He asked in a soft voice. She seemed that she had a little run-in. "i would guess we go that way.' he said, pointing to where he thought the map lead after turning the map a couple of times to see where the roads met with the real roads and stuff.

Guinevere shook her head, clearing her thoughts. She smiled back at Nikolai and held his hand for a moment before letting go. "I'm sorry, my mind was somewhere else..." she said. Looking at Kemuri, she laughed. "Kotatsu can't read maps at all. Let's go that way if you think it's right."

Smiling, despite the rosey tint afflicting his cheeks, Nikolai looked happy to see Guin laughing. With Kemuri pointing the way, the lad had no means of helping out. After all, it was his first time in the city.

Guinevere saw Nikolai smiling and smiled back, glad that he was happy in spite of the situation. "Let's get a move on." she said, clapping her hands. "He've got to get Nikolai back home."

(( sorry. i didn't know i was being waited on >___< ))
Kemuri decided to follow the young-ins as he had no idea where this bookstore was. He thought about the map and how people even read those things! He had to make sure they both were safe since he was older and he'd be put as a wather-over person and if they got into trouble, he'd be blamed...

Kotatsu scooted up closer to Guinevere and tried to like like she knew what she was doing. She felt silly that she, as a Guardian, knew less about where to go than Guinevere did and was determined to try to seem in control of the situation. She was supposed to be a mature adult!
Guinevere looked back at Kemuri. "So how'd Nikolai lose Jade anyway?" she asked.

"oh, Jade had something to do at an earlier stop so Nikki had to go with me." he said blushing a bit. he really wanted to find Jade so Nikolai could go home safely.
