=o Holycrap. Bloodbending. That's amazing. Poor Katara, though, T.T Her reason for using it was way better than that woman's, but it went against her morals and stuff. Gahh! I wanna see what happens in the next eppie!

Anyways, the rest of the episode was pretty good. It was interesting to learn more about the abilities of waterbenders, and seeing what happened to the benders of the Southern Tribe was interesting, too.

And, am I the only one who noticed Toph carrying a basket of food on her head. o.O That was wierd. But amazingly hilarious.

Sokka amused me in this. Especially his, err... Bedscene. xD Wait, no, that makes it sound really wrong.

However, despite the awesomeness of this episode, I wish there was some Zuko action. How's he supposed to marry Katara switch sides before the eclipse if he doesn't have screentime? Though, I suppose he's had quite a bit the past few eppies...

Hamma was really creepy. I mean, I understand why she's all 'you must suffer as I have suffered', but still... Trapping people under a mountain? Dx

Sokka getting mad at Toph for insulting the moon was really sweet. <3 Poor guy. Both his girlfriends are gone. T.T

Overall, pretty interesting.

Gahh! I checked what the upcoming episodes are on wikipedia, and it says they focus on the final battle! Dx I think the finale might be coming soon...
PostPosted: Fri Nov 09, 2007 7:44 pm

Well, the final eppi will be the 20th one of the season, so it's not that soon, no fear^^ Wikipedia is just silly and vague like taht sometimes.

And Nuu! I refuse to believe that Suki is dead!!
gonk
Though I agree, I laughed a lot at that part! and Sokka's 'bed scene' as you said.
And did you notice when Toph opened the box with her key, and Sokka said something(I think, but I can't remember) She had that little Tokka blush again!

Bloodbending was indeed interesting. My friend and I were, like the metal bending thing, waiting for that point to be made. The human body(among other animals) is what, 75% water? Just like Metal being nothing but processed Earth. We had this 'Stop hitting yourself' joke going before we saw this episode, actually ^^;

Yay, Sokka's sword came back, too! Even if it was trying to cut Katara and Aang up, the little bit in the hallway with the closet full of puppets was pretty good^^

I loved getting a little more explanation into the water tribe's downfall, too. The Southern tribe used to be pretty big! It really makes me sad for the waterbenders. They pretty much all got killed, many of them slowly at the hands of captivity.

And Hamma was nice at first, like a crazy old lady...then she just turned out to be vengeful and crazy in a non-good way...psycotic, much? I can understand that she suffered. But she was taking that out on those innocent villagers, who, I'm guessing, have done nothing wrong.

Katara was very awesome in this episode, the poor girl really needs a hug. But her fight against Hamma was awesome. She really is a very powerful bender and she knows it *woot* Not to mention her trying to be responisble when the others were snooping, but turning out to be just as curious as them XD

And am I the only one who thinks that maybe the Bloodbending thing may come back to haunt her? like she may have to use it once more to save someone else? I've had this fantasy that maybe she uses it later to save Zuko in one of the final confrontations. (it'll have to be during the night on a full moon, though, wouldn't it though?) Like maybe Ozai is trying to kill him, and every other bending move she throws at him doesn't work. So she goes to her last resort to keep him from killing his own son. Hmm, that'd make a good oneshot, though, wouldn't it?
O.O
Wouldn't it be ironic, actually, if she won the war just by using bloodbending? It's probably a delicate bending art, since it's blood in a human body... but if she ended up killing Ozai like that, it'd be very ironic indeed.

Sorry, don't mind me, I'm going nuts with speculating here!

And speaking of Zuko, don't worry, he has some time in the next episode. And there is some interesting character development going on in that episode. I have been to the future!! *needs sleep*

Phew. I was worried we would only get, like, 12 episodes for a second there. Dx

Well, If she's not dead, she better get found soon. Lying (presumably naked) in the woods for roughly a month can't be too good for your health... Or dignity.

Yeah, I noticed her blushing a little too.

xD Hehe. Now I really want Katara to use bloodbending and say 'stop hitting yourself!'

I can't wait to see Sokka use his sword in combat! It'll be so cool. ^.^

Yeah, I'm thinking bloodbending will be used again, too. I mean, theyw wouldn't throw it in their if it had no use, right? And, yeah, I'd like to see her use it to save Zuko, too. As for the full moon, well, there'll be a solar eclipse, and I think there needs to be a full moon to fully block the sun, right?

Actually, I had a dream about how it come back and involve Zuko. I don't remember the details, but I know Katara had to use it to protect herself, and she became all distraught about it. Zuko was the only person with her, so she turned to him for comfort, and she hugged him and cried on his shoulder. <3<3

Yays! More Zuko action! Can't wait 'til next Friday!

Nope, they haven't short-changed us on the final season^^ We still got a good chunk of the story left to go!

Well, I have actually seen the preview for the 10th episode(holy crap, I laughed my butt off at that...I'll give the link, and you can see for yourself,) and it was of the Gaang meeting back up with Katara's father, and he had gone off to gather a bunch of people they'd met throughout the story for the army. So I'm now thinking that, since Sokka organized a list of people for his dad to recruit, he HAD to have listed the Kyoshi Warriors. Maybe in the month or whatever that we haven't seen Suki, she and the others wandered back to Kyoshi(in the nude, perhaps? or maybe they fashioned leaf-loin clothes XD) And she may just be on board one of the Water tribe boats! I had this thought as I was drifting off to sleep this morning. It's a very comforting thought.^^

Yes, there is the eclipse, isn't there? My friend and I had the same thought. We also think that technically, if it's the full-moon time of the cycle, that the waterbenders would still have the power even though it wasn't night, but I think the influencewould definitely be stronger at night...I dunno, we have lots of thoughts, she and I. ^^

Bloodbending may turn into one of those things like Lightning bending and Zuko. It may just be coming back. Course, we know Lightning bending will for sure, but... Yes, that may end up happening too, Katara using it to protect herself. Then Zuko needs to hug her X3 I still love the idea of her saving Zuko, though. Either way, he'd end up comforting her when she breaks down about having to bloodbend again. Therefore, either option is full of win and fluffiness!

I love that clip! Toph, as always, still has the best lines. xD The swamp people were pretty amusing, too.

(what's different? I noticed the outfits, and the fact that Haru has a mustche (Dx)... Is that what you mean?)

But, yeah, I guess that could work. I really do hope Suki is still alive. she was one of the coolest secondary characters. Dx So was Jet.

Well, even if the it was a full moon in the cycle, waterbenders still need it to be nighttime for it have any influence over them.

Yeah, I doubt it'd just be thrown in with no purpose. So far, everything has had a purpose of some sort.

I really hope bloodbending brings on some Zutara fluff. Him comforting her would definately help them restore their bond.

Haru and his new look TOTALLY surprised me!! I swear, that was just so random. I spent a good part of 10 minutes laughing about it when I first saw it. It still gets me going!

Toph was indeed totally awesome...though at this point, it goes with out saying!

Thought on Nightmares and Daydreams:

That was freaking hilarious. xD I like Aang much better when he's hallucinating. *shot* His nightmares were quite amusing too. The outfits in them were very... strange, to say the least.

Sokka, once again, you take the cake. I was happy to see the return of beard and mustache. And, of course, he had giggling very much throughout the episode.

Toph was quite awesome as well. Though, her face in that dream was very creepy. o.O And, yay! Chibi!Toph in the speech bubble! <3

And, being the obsessive fangirl that I am, noticed a few things that made me squee for Zutara:
a) Katara said, "Reach for the sun". Sun=fire=Zuko.
b) In the dream, Katara was engulfed in flames. That makes me think of Zuko taking Katara away from Aang, the same way fire would. Except, you know, less violently. xD
c) Zuko appeared as a reflection underwater. water=Katara.

Or, you know, maybe I'm just insane. Yeah, that's probably it.

Yay! Zuko's finally learning who he wants to be! And he kinda sorta dissed Mai (whom I felt was taking advantage of him and his privledges)! =D Finally! Now, be a good boy and go out with Katara help Aang!

Oh, and I found all the things the servants offered him very amusing. Especially the part where the carried Zuko across the street. xD

Overall, hilarious and good.

Heh, the Reaching for the Sun, feel the heat part had me grinning micheviously as well. Katara, do you realize what you're saying? And the fact that it's causing us Zutarians nosebleeds?? Well, minor ones, anyway...

And Ooh!! very nice one with Katara being engulfed in flames! Maybe his visions weren't so crazy afterall...*evil grin*

Though Zuko wasn't the one that was underwater...He was standing abot the ice...but he was on the other side of the water...Oh! Yeah, he's kind of going to be on the other side of Katara, fighting aang for her! XD lol, I look into things too much!

You know what...I actually sort of liked the maiko in this episode *shot* I mean, before it was made up of just cheesy, horrid pick-up lines, and Maikouts, but they were acting a lot more normal in this one. Zuko shared his worries with Mai, and this time, she listened and made an effort to make him feel better... After the meeting, she talked to him, and was happy for him when he said he was at his father's right hand...and he tells her the truth that he was a prince in the meeting, but he wasn't himself.
Now I dodn't know how she reacted to that because the scene cut...but I can actually respect Maiko a lot more now that there's a little more to it. Even then, though, Mai still doesn't know the real Zuko.
ninja

You know what, Sokka probably has a TON of cake right now. Him and Toph. I love Therapy!Sokka, so funny. Wanna scream into this pillow?

Aang amused me very much in this episode, he seriously needed to chill. XD His outfits, yes, and his hair! And his little exagarations of Ozai were pretty amusing, too.
Ha! I bet Mark Hammil had fun saying, "My royal parts are showing!!"
xd

Zuko's servants...Hoo boy. I don't care if I were royalty, I'd still dress myself every morning! Head massage? He had already put his hair up! And him taking the little cart over to Mai...may not have been a bad idea...Did you see all those fangirls?! They looks dangerous!!
xd

Momo speaks!! and Appa too!! and the Guru returns!!
Chakras, Chakras, everybody loves the chakras!!

You, my friend, are a few plums short of a fruit pie.

Oh, look, another hallucination. An imaginary bed made out of clouds...

Fire Lord Ozai's defenses are impenetrable! *attacks the noodle picture*

Yay symbolism! Or, at least that's what we're going to interpret it as.

Agreed. Mai was actually listening to his problems this episode, and seemed genuinely happy for him. However, that doesn't mean they'll work out in the end. I still think they clash a bit....

Yeah, Mai has no idea what the real Zuko is like, and she probably wouldn't understand why he isn't happy with the royal life.

xD Oh noes! They're gonna get fat and slow down the invasion!

Hehe. Ozai was hilarious in this. I personally liked his flying, fire breathing pig.

xD Those are probably the best parts of the episode. I also liked Aang telling everyone about what happened to them in his dreams.

"I forgot my pants and my math test!"
*Katara looks at him oddly*

What was Aang's line again "You're my forever girl"? When he was going to kiss her again I was a little grossed out.
