Kasaki turned a soft gaze toward the girl momentarily, but then he ignored her completely. He didn't care if the girl didn't want him there. Nothing but his death could separate him from his Amadeus.

Amadeus blinked, as Kayome appeared! He then peered outdoors. Had he really been out that long? Well, he had slept pretty late...
"Kayome!" he said pleasantly, in way of greeting. Then he turned to Mona, who didn't seem to be so happy with the boy. It seemed that she had something to say, too... but Amadeus figured that he should first introduce them to each other...
"Mona, this is my new student, Kayome," he said with a nod, gesturing at Kayome. "And Kayome, this is Mona. She's a fellow Councilmember of mine. Mona, we can talk about your idea later, ok?"
After the introductions were finished, Amadeus turned to face Kayome and gave him a grateful smile.
"That would be appreciated, Kayome!" he said earnestly. "I'd love to try your pork buns."

"Stewdent? Hm." Mona spoke softly. She didn't know that Amadeus had an apprentice. But then again she didn't pay much attention. She was always wondering around looking for entertainment. Mona merely nodded and waited for the time when Amadeus would bring up the topic of the Masters once again.

I'm so mad right now. D< My posts are getting completely ignored in Oto, even though it was requested that I post there.]
Kayome bowed deeply at Mona, mostly to hide the blush that was creeping onto his face with the implications of Amadeus' words. Try my pork buns? He stifled a giggle.
"I'll get right on it if you point me toward the kitchen," he said, standing straight again.

Amadeus was still blissfully unaware of his implications. He stood up to his full height and headed towards Kayome.
"The kitchen is that way," he said, pointing in the direction. "Careful, it's a little tight in there. And I don't think that it's actually in good shape... I haven't been home in ages, and I haven't even set foot in my kitchen yet. My apologies for any potential inconveniences."

[Entrance from Underwater Caverns]
Her footsteps were light and could easily be described as running. A small dust cloud following behind in her wake, Nakamura was running towards Amadeus' office. I am SOOOO late! He's probably not going to be very happy with me. she thought to herself while her eyes glanced down to view the gift she had created before heading off this way. How could he possibly be mad at me? she asked with a child-like smile. She could only hope that he would like what she had made. It was in a small gift box that would easily fit in one of his palms. The box had a removable lid so it wouldn't take him much effort to open, it's blue ribbon seeming to scream *OPEN ME!* Inside of it was a small ice figurine of a Yukigakure Morning Lilly. With her own chakra witheld in the ice itself, it wouldn't melt unless there were unforseen circumstances.
Her running came to an abrupt halt, her body sliding through the dirt to leave an ever growing dust cloud behind her. She was about to knock upon Amadeus' office door, when the wind managed to catch up with her. Her hair blew to the right covering the left side of her body with a tannish coating of dust and dirt. Instead of knocking, she let out a rather loud and audible moan. "AUGH!!!!!!!"
She was lucky, that she had kept a light, yet tight hold upon the box. Nakamura's body took the brunt of the dust, giving her the appearance of having skipped out on a bath for several weeks. The left side of her white outfit was stained with the dirt, something she would have to tend to later. She knew that she couldn't leave now. If it wasn't for Kaoru, she could have made her report earlier and this could have been prevented. Blargh... knowing Kusari, that noise I made would have him here in an instant. A sigh escaped her lips, thinking of how chaotic it's been in Takigakure ever since he had shown up.

Amadeus was just about to start talking to Mona, when suddenly a commotion from outside caught his overly sensitive ears. With an apologetic grin to Mona, and yet another thankful glance at Kayome, he sauntered outside easily, blinking at the sight of Nakamura.
"...good mor-" he started to say, but was cut off.
A tiny bat had leapt down from the tree and was currently in the process of yelling something quite loudly at the poor man. At least, that was what it seemed, because the bat was talking at too high a frequency for normal people to hear. Amadeus winced, sending Nakamura a grin and beckoning her to enter his office, before turning to the bat.
"Hush now!" he said sharply. He even added some force and just the tiniest bit of killing intent into his voice for added emphasis. The bat shut up immediately.
"Now, what?" he asked patiently. The bat obliged.
"Are you Amadeus?" he demanded shrilly, and plowed on after said Rikki's patient nod. "I'm Yvix!" the bat announced with all the self-importance in the world. "And well, my daddy said to come to you when something fishy happens so here I am!" The bat was relaxing now. He had opened up his tiny wings to their fullest wingspan and was currently enjoying what little air currents there were at this level. Amadeus' gaze turned serious and he asked,
"Where are you from, Yvix?"
"KONOHA!" Yvix said cheerfully, doing a cartwheel in the air. "We heard this from our cousins in the desert, though. Near Sunagakure there's been a HUGE chakra disturbance." Yvix illustrated this by promptly stopping his flight and falling a few feet, even adding an expression of mock shock on his face, before regaining his balance and continuing his message.
"HUGE enough to really mess up the signals. My cousins were saying that they couldn't hear properly for a week," Yvix said.
There was a silence.
Finally, Amadeus spoke. "Is that it?" he asked, and Yvix gave a small screech. "Amadeus!" he yelled out. "That's pretty juicy news! Don't tell me that that isn't important enough! I didn't make this perilous journey out here for nothing!"
But Amadeus merely chuckled. No need to worry a youngster. "No, that's not it," he said with a wan smile. "You've done very well, Yvix. Your parents named you well." The bat had presumably been named after the ancient bat prince Yvix. "You can go..." Amadeus continued softly, dipping his head in respect and thanks, "... if you wish. If you'll excuse me." His eyes had a strange glint to them. "I have many things to discuss with my comrades."
He turned around, and headed back into his office, amidst Yvix's grumbles of "Oh yes, what a great way to thank a bat! No food or anything, not even shelter. Okay, thanks bye, what a great way..."
But Amadeus' eyes were narrowed and calculating. This new information was so juicy in many more ways than one...

Perhaps it was from the years of having Kuriyo that clued Kayome in to the bat's needs. "Is your friend hungry, Amadeus?"
"Is he a meat-eater? Or a fruit-eater?" Kayome inquired, producing an apple to see if the animal would take it.

She wasn't suprised at the greeting that she had recieved from Amadeus. I must look horrid... I really have to watch my speed. she thought to herself with a saddened look upon her face. The entirety of her left was tan, while her right was her normal white. She figured that it was her appearance that managed to make him cut his speech in half. Instead of looking away out of embarressment, she stared into his face. Something seemed to cause him pain, her curiosity wondering just what it could be. Amadeus? she asked, but instead of it coming from her mouth, it came from within her head. She heard mild flapping from behind her, and knew that it was not her that seemed to offend him when he gave her his trademark smile.
She shook herself off as best she could, the left side of her hair and chest were the only things that had yet to be removed of the dirt. She wasn't about to shake herself off in front of Amadeus. She thought highly of him, and to perform such an act in front of him didn't sit well with her. She quickly stepped inside, ducking beneath Amadeus' arm as he seemed to speak to someone else. What is he... OH! her question answered quickly. Her eyes traced the sound to a small bat, but she couldn't make out any words. Mild clicks and possible light pings, but nothing else.
With her hands extended, she offered her gift to him when he was finished. Nakamura wasn't sure how he would take it, but her cheeks gained a tiny glimpse of color to them. Before it could be noticed, she hid her face away behind her large ponytail that managed to wrap itself around from her back when she was shaking herself free from the dust.
She felt the blood leave her face and t he coolent of her blood saving her from any future embarresment. Without skipping a beat, she tossed her hair over her shoulder, allowing it to fall daintly down her back. She waited in silence, wondering if he would like her report on the Oto intruders now or later. She was completely oblivious to the others in the room were it not for their scents that carressed her sense of smell.

Konpaku rose from where had been this entire time. He had slept well and light with his puppets attached to him the entire time. Cutting the blue strings he loaded up both puppets onto his back and yawned heavily like a bear waking up from a winter slumber. "It seems the masters have started the party without us. If this is true it may be the distraction we need in order to get the shinobi we need here. I guess I will save the idea for a later time if you need me i will be at the nearest place to wash in some cold water. Send for me when needed." With that Konpaku walked away slowly and with his hair blocking direct contact with his eyes.

Amadeus' expression changed immediately and he even chuckled a little at Kayome's helpfulness.
"It's appreciated, Kayome, but Yvix' species eats neither. They eat mosquitoes and the like. He'll just have to hunt for them himself..." His eyes were twinkling again as he turned to Yvix who was probably somewhere next to him.
"Although, I honestly can't say. I think he'd take many things. He does seem quite atypical for a bat. I jest, Yvix," he said good-humouredly to the bat who was probably spouting off some equally good-natured offensive banter back at him. The bat flew up to Kayome and buried his teeth into the apple, taking tiny little bites and jerking the apple up and down as he did so.
Then he turned to Nakamura and imagine the surprise that registered in his eyes when he saw something being offered to him! "For me?" he asked cautiously, taking it slowly. He gradually pulled at the ribbon until it unraveled and was left speechless at the shimmering beauty inside.
Amadeus didn't say anything for a few moments, although the widening of his eyes did possibly show his emotions to some extent. During that time Konpaku happened to show himself and go off for a morning wash it seemed. That brought Amadeus back to earth.
"Yes... yes, we will," he said before Konpaku left. "Or you can come back when you are done. I foresee a talk," he said thoughtfully, still staring at the icy gemlike gift. When Konpaku was gone, he turned to Nakamura.
"Honestly, Nakamura..." he said in an amazed tone. "This thing is beautiful. How did you make it? Wait, that's a silly question..." he chuckled. "I wouldn't be able to relate anyway." Only shinobi who could manipulate ice, and maybe water to an extent would know the feeling anyway.
"Thank you," he finished simply. "Come on in, take a seat..."
[lmao I can imagine Kayome being so jealous right now.]

Kayome nodded lightly. "I'll save the apples for breakfast, then," he replied, tucking it back into the basket. "Nakamura-sensei." He said, smiling sweetly. "How are you this morning?"
He gazed at the lovely ice token that Amadeus held in his hands. "It's lovely..." he said breathlessly. His heart hurt a bit. So he's already spoken for... "I'm so sorry, I have to go cook for our journey." He bowed deeply.
"Shitsurei shimasu." He said, pushing passed her. He wiped away the one tear that escaped as soon as he was out of eyesight.

She kept quiet as Amadeus conversed with the little bat and Kayome. When he had turned his attention on her again, she nodded when he asked if the box was for him. She felt it slowly slip away from her hands as if he was nervous about taking it. Nakamura wasn't trying to crave attention or approval, it was something she thought would make him happy.
To her, she had accomplished just that. A seeming twinkle that he held back within his gaze. While he spoke to Konpaku, she merely smiled. I'm so happy he likes it. she said to herself, her arms twitching at her sides as if they needed something to do. "I made it for you Amadeus... as both a gift and an apology. I'm sorry for being late with my reports. I was distracted..." she began, but stopped after she felt a slight shove against her shoulder.
She was at a loss for words, that was, untill she noticed how Kayome seemed to want to leave after asking her how her morning was. "WAIT! Don't go yet!" she called, reaching her right arm out to grab Kayome's shoulder. She made sure that she was going fast enough to keep Kayome here, but slow enough so that it wouldn't hurt if she did grab him. I'll tell Amadeus when we go in to talk about the affairs of the other villages. she gave a nod to herself, confirming her plan.

Konpaku walked in both Rage and fury strapped to his back and his short over his shoulders. It really showed his battle experience but nothing showed more then the perfect circle that sat atop of his heart. It stood out above all the scars on his body. It was there which meant it was really but it also meat he should have been dead but he wasn't. something must have saved him for a wound like that would be fatal. Another good question is why would he walk into a room full of women with no shirt on. Of course Konpaku was a man and had the need to be complimented and looked at for his body. He was only human after all. A very powerful human but human none the less. "I am back if you need me."

Kusari walked through the town looking upon the village remembering the way he had walked when he had first come to this place. His net shirt showing off his figure somewhat as he traversed his way up the town before finally reaching the place he had heard to be referd to by other villagers as the place of Amadeus.
Kusari slowly approached and as he did so he sensed several other presences. One was Nakamura, the other, the man from before whom he hated. Kusari decided that it was best no tot enter un announced so he knocked on the door to announce his arrival and awaited it's opening.
