"You don't have to worry about me, FenFen. I'm very capable of taking care of myself. I have for a long time." Letting out a light giggle, she shook her head. A few braids falling into her eyes before she quickly flicked them back into place. "If it brings you any comfort to know that, that is."

He humped more at her, "I'm capable of taking care of myself too but it doesn't stop me from getting scrapes or worse. A mare especially, there are big bad things out there," Fenrir didn't want to admit he didn't like the thoughts of bad stuff out there coming after the mare......

Zhenga giggled softly, almost under her breath as she shook her head. "Are you really that worried that I might get into some sort of situation that some big bad thing is going to come after me?" The furry tip of her slender tail flicked back and forth lazily as she walked on. It was kind of silly though. She could take care of herself and she could fly away pretty fast if need be. But she also could understand that some stallions were just like that. They felt the need to want to protect those they thought needed protecting.

He stopped himself from pouting angrily at her and opted instead to mutter under his breathe about mares and silly notions of invincibility. "It could happen...." he said finally.....taking care to not bump into her side as her fathery wings needed smoothing out. Fenrir then spotted several small bushes in a clump, and walked slowly towards them. It wasn't much but it was food, and he whinnied to Zhenga.

"I know it could. But I'm not worried about it until it actually happens. But I'll be more careful, since you seem to be so adamant about it." As he moved towards the small bushes, she herself moved after him. Peering at them for a moment before looking towards him. There wasn't much, but what hunger wasn't filled grass could easily sooth that problem.

"adamant indeed...." he muttered, nosing along the clumps. Some dried berries clung to the branches and he sniffed at them. Still good, although tiny and hard. Fenrir moved over to the other side to allow Zhenga more room and started to chew on the leaves. It started to calm the gnawing feeling in his stomach and he swished his curly tail happily.

She raised an eyebrow at his reply. But after a moment she gave a small sigh and shook her head. Leaning her head down, she nipped at the berries and leaves of the bushes. The tip of her tail moving back and forth slowly as she grazed on the bushes quietly. Fenrir seemed to have some serious mood changes during this recent conversation. Perhaps it was something she had done or said? Who knew. He didn't seem like the type to seriously talk about how he was feeling if perhaps it might of been embarrassing to the stallion.

The grazing continued to calm his head and the throbbing in his shoulder subsided. Mares make his head hurt.......but he liked being with Zhenga....she was different, although he wasn't sure how. Maybe because she didn't cling or tried to n** at him on first sight. Soon he lifted his head, a few tufts of leaves sticking out of his muzzle as he smiled at her.

Zhenga's silver eyes shifted upward as she grazed. Watching Fenrir as he smiled at her. It seemed he was feeling better and possibly in a better mood. Though she wasn't sure how long that would last. She gave a small smile as she finished eating. Not wanting to fill up too much on berries and leaves. The mare never stripped anything bare when she ate.

(emotional one isnt he? xD)
Fenrir swallowed his mouthful, cherishing the tangy leaves. Giving a satisfied burp, he wandered over to the mare. As she watched him with her silver eyes, he stared back at her with his vibrant forest eyes eyes, then chuckled, "See something you like?" Hey, he was capable of jokes like any other stallions. He stretched a little, kicking out his forelegs and hindlegs before rubbing agaianst a tree for a backscratch.

((Very much so. XD))
Swallowing what was left in her mouth, she tilted her head to the side and gave him a coy smirk. "Perhaps." Her tail gave a quick snap back and forth as she backed away from the bushes. She stretched out her wings then tucked them against her back again.

Grinning back at her, he finished scratching the itch and followed her. "So what would the lovely mare want to explore today?" He noticed that she seemed to like swishing her tail back and forth. She had more control over it than he does anyway, quite intriguing.

"Anything and everything I guess." That wasn't far from the truth though. There was still much of this land she hadn't seen as of yet. Zhenga wanted to explore it all. See all that she could. She often wondered if there was a place where the world just dropped off and ended. Where there was just empty space and nothing more. "Do you ever wonder if there's an ending point to everything we see around us?"

He thought about her question as he lead her out of the forest. "I've been to places where the fields of grass stretch endlessly and never ends. Sometimes when i run through it feels as if everything -else- has ended.........." Fenrir wasn't sure if that answered her question, but to him having the end of everything would mean taking away the things he loved the most. He shook his head, perplexed at the thought and started trotting. Perhaps they could go up the mountains and watch the hawks.

A small giggle passed through her lips as she looked at him. His answer wasn't exactly what she meant, but at least he had an answer. "What I really mean is, do you think there's a place where if you ran long enough to the world would just drop off into nothing? I guess I could describe it almost like a cliff. Except there isn't anything on the other side that you can get to. Just nothing."
