Megumi just sighs. He knew Ran wasn't a Vizard; so what had happened? It was like she'd become a different person. It might have to do with that place they went..she'd seemed skittish about it. He'd heard rumors that there were traps or triggers used sometimes; she'd said she vaguely remembered that place. It could be that she knew it, but had been made to forget. Some kind of technique could have been used to keep something beneath the surface..there was just so much he didn't know.

"Forgive my interruptions, esteemed associates. Ran is a friend of mine..I felt a change in her aura and I came to see what was wrong. I guess I was in time. I'm Aoibara Megumi.."

He bows to each person in turn in the class..and the teacher as well..

Tsai got himself onto his feet using the wall as a support. "Please to meet you Megumi-san, my name is Lin Tsai," he got up to greet the new classmate. "The Aoibara where have I heard that name before.." Tsai pondered, he knew that name from somewhere. A book? A chat? Who knows but he swore he knew that name.

"You here for class as well I'm assuming?" he asked Megumi as he began to shift his shoulders about making cracking noises with them and then walked normally towards him or her (Tsai couldn't tell, his strategy was going to be to avoid talking about gender related topics until he had figured out) as if the spar with Mai didn't happen at all. Tsai was still tired even after resting for a few minutes.

His eyes were fixed on Ran. "What just happened..?" he wondered if that was what happened to Ran when she was serious about her fights. She was quite scary.

He then moved his eyes to his left so he could get a good view at Kaosu. He seemed pretty badly beaten. "I guess if he ever asks me to train him again, I'll have to triple his training program.." Tsai began planning in his head while he waited for an answer from Megumi.

(Mai is actually not watching Kaosu and Ran's fight, she's just staring at the ceiling while trying to rest up for whatever is coming up. Since the class is probably not going to be spars only)

Kaosu sat there for another stretch of time, staring at the cieling before getting himself up into a sitting position. He slowly and carefully pushed himself up into a standing position; once again. Then, he walked over to where all the hustle and bustle was occuring and stepped right into the conversation. "Oh. We're at the introduction phase." He bowed back at Megumi. "Name's Kaosu. Ranmyaku Kaosu. I'm the one that just got layed out by Ran." I can swear that name rings a bell...oh well, might as well find out.

As opposed to Tsai who remained silent about the subject, Kaosu just openly asked. "Oi, I've heard of your name before; Aoibara I mean. I just can't quite place it. Would it be too much of a bother to refresh my memory?" Kaosu arched his back, stretching it quickly before returning to his normal pose, listening to Megumi with all the focus he had at the time. Quick note, I gotta ask Tsai if he'll train me more. He placed his hand tenderly on the bruise on his chest. Especially if I keep getting knocked down like this.

The strangest thing where ran was concerned, was the fact that she seemed to have absolutely no recollection on what it was she had done, or had been doing. Instead, she seemed more focused on appearing sheepish, but when she opened her eyes next and focused them on Megumi, the expression she had was worried.

For a few minutes there, it was like something else had taken control of her, some deep seated blood lust she didn't know she'd possessed. All of her life, she'd avoided killing people, even in the worst of her street fights. It had never been out of fear. No, she'd killed the few that had deserved it, but she'd tried to avoid it as best she could.

This was different though. This was something that terrified her straight down to her core, and it was evident when she trembled just slightly. Gone was the worn brown kimono decorated with flowers, and the soft hakama. In it's place was the traditional black that most shinigami wore. But it was still molded in her unique style. Her braid swaying down her back, she'd never looked more feminine, but also, never more frightened in her life.

"Megumi.." a soft sound, before she strode past him, Tsai, and the others, headed outside the classroom. She needed air.

He smiles to both Tsai and Kaosu..and he nods. It's interesting but he's not quite as girly as he was; his top is open just slightly, and one can tell by the way his chest muscles are built he's a man. It might be good fortune..at least now there'd be no embarassing mistakes.

"Ah, yes..Aoibara Family are the Nobles of Flowers. We're a much more casual group than the greatest of families but we still have responsibilities and things that we must attend to in such fashion as those within familes that have no title would find difficult to understand..though I myself try to be more of a free person, free yet contained like the flowers we adore.."

He watches Ran with a sigh..

"I've never seen her like that before..I apologize but I should follow her..she and I are friends.."

Tsai nodded. "Look after her she looked rather fierce and hostile in the battle, I hope everything is alright with her," he said as he turned to Kaosu and tapped him on the shoulder and went towards a wall and lay there waiting for further instructions from the teacher.

Korin had watched the events unfolding slowly, had kept a close eye on the tattoo on Ran's back. That couldn't be the house crest, could it? Perhaps it could. It would bear some discussion, perhaps she could speak with Miyoko on a later date, and attempt to find out what it was that was going on with the girl.

But, for the time being, there were more pressing matters. She stood after a moment, stretching her nimble legs, before flashing her gaze over the class.

"The four of you all did very well in your spars. I see some points that could have been improved upon, and some that could have been avoided entirely. Kaosu, for fighting a student who is levels above you, you did excellent. You have passed the first portion of the class." and there was a faint smile, before she turned to the other two.

"Tsai, and Mai. You two did very well, and seem quite evenly matched. I want you both to continue your training, and include Kaosu, since you seem somewhat familiar with one another. Try smaller spars, analyze one another, assist one another. For now, I want you all to rest, and then meet back here in one week to complete the class." a brief smile, very brief.

"You will all be undergoing a few exercises next time, and working more on techniques, so make certain you're all well rested. And you." her eyes pivoted to rest on Megumi. "Make certain our young Ran knows this as well." and then, Korin turned, moving toward the side door. They had all been dismissed.

Tsai nodded at the sensei's comments as he stared at Mai and Kaosu. He had an idea to train them all. A trip to Aozora Mountains. "Kaosu, Mai... if your not busy, are you ready to do some training?" he asked them his eyes glowing with new energy.

He was ready to train, but he was quite tired, they would probably have to rest up before they could go training. He waited for a reply from the two of them as he slowly got himself up.

Kaosu grinned sheepishly as the sensei acknowledged him, his hand rubbing the back of his head. "Uh...thanks." But inside of his head, he finally understood why he lost. At least it makes sense now. It wasn't a loss after all.

After a while, when Tsai addressed him, Kaosu focused his attention back into the world. He looked right at Tsai, "You know I'm always ready. I'm beaten and sore, but ready." He went over by the door to go out and was about to leave and wait for Tsai, when he remembered something. He walked back in and stood in front of the sensei. "Thank you, sensei. The class was great. I can't wait for the next session." He bowed low, as low as he could go, hoping the sensei could tell; seeing as his nose was practically touching his legs. He rose and winked at her. "This may just become my favorite class."

Then he turned and walked towards the doorframe, back completely to the teacher. "Oi, if we're going where I think we're going, we better hurry and go now. You coming too Mai?"

"We are going to need Mai if we are going, I'm not very use to navigating that place and Mai has," he noted. "Also, we need to pack up some clothes and anything else, plus I need to make some modifications to the spiritual weights and get some rest, the class has brought me down a notch and I want to be at my best when our training begins, so I'll see you guys in a days time," he said before he picked up his zampakuto and wandered out of class, most likely towards the Hidden Waterfall Caves.

She nodded to Tsai's comment as she lifted her two feet high into the air while on the ground and kicked forward, moving her entire body upright. She began stretching again, she was indeed tired. She picked up her two zampakuto and placed them into her sash. "Training? I wonder what training Tsai has in mind for us, and me guide them? Hmm, I don't remember agreeing but whatever, it sounds like fun. I was going to train there by myself later either way," She began walking towards the door before she turned and looked at Kaosu with a smile.

"I know your eager, but you can't deny that you did take quite a beating from Ran, see you later!" she taunted him as she left the classroom gleefully with the same smile she had put on a moment ago. Mai was tired but the truth be told, she also really wanted to go to Aozora Mountains for some training. "Maybe I should have a nice bath when I get to the dormitories," she wondered as she walked.

Kaosu just glared at Mai. Did she just...AAARGH! Kaosu pushed out of the classroom archway. Just when I felt good, too.

Korin was in the classroom, waiting for her students to file in. In the meantime however, she was exercising, if one could call the fluid movements made by her hands and feet, exercise. Kata, would be more appropriate. She was going through a series of balancing exercises, things that were meant to bring her contentment and focus.

And they seemed to be working, because instead of her usual frown, the young woman wore a slight smile, barely visible except to those who would know to look for it.

Haro sighed as he walked into the class slowly, taking a deep breath as he strolled in, back from his training. He hadn't had time to really get dressed up proporly and in his clean or un-ripped clothes. He was a little tattered, but it would do him for training. He noticed the teachers excorsizes as he walked in, but was not looking closely enough to find that there was a slight smile upon her face. He clapped his hands together and bowed with a smirk. "Hello Sensei. I am here and ready to actually learn this time." He said with a smirk. The last time he had been in this class, he had only been watching for there was no partner in there for him to spar with. He took a deep breath and it looked as though his legs collapsed as he folded them under himself with grace and closed his eyes, awaiting either a responce or more students as he sat there.
