then his 'rivalry' with Riku would turn into something much more.... Yea, you get the picture stare
Oh, well, Rikku would hear about it somehow, forcing her to turned up on Sephiroth's doorstep, claiming that, "Our son has taken a turn for the worse!", forcing Sephiroth to take action and make a stand against Sora and Riku's....... Behavior.... And since Cloud pretty much hates Sephiroth, he would automatically believe the opposite of what Sephiroth feels, so he'd help Riku and Sora out in their..... Serenading, then get Tifa envolved somehow, and soon after she'll meet up with Yuna and Pain, telling them about the whole thing and how Rikku got all diggy diggy with Sephiroth, so Yuna and Pain will go and comfort Rikku, who will be blabbering on and on about how she should've take more care of her son and how she could never imagine how he turned out to be so diggy diggy with Sora. Kairi will be passing by, and no sooner does she get informed wil Riku and Sora's relationship, so she will show up on Sora's front doorstep, giving him the biggest thrashing ever known to man kind.
