Our alto saxes are the absolute worst. Only one of them can tune and the rest can barely read music. This is senior band, people. Our BD always has to steal some of his jazz band altos for concerts/festivals.

Haha, tuba. Our tuba player was a trombone, but since we had a lack of people in band, out teacher made him play tuba.
NOTICE HOW NO ONE VOTED FOR BASSOON. YEA BASSOON'S ROCK. xD

In my band it's the trumpets. Not because they are horrible but because they talk constantly and then blast when it isn't needed. It gets so annoying. Especially in marching band when we are getting instructions and they won't shut up because i'm always in the middle of them and can't hear.

My school's band didn't even have a bassoon!! xD
But you know what? It is ALWAYS the trumpets. It was the trumpets in middle school, and even now it's still the trumpets, even though there are none of the same people from before.. and they happen to have important solos! They were so bad, the conductor gave them practice logs which have to be signed by their parents confirming that they practice half an hour a night.
They say if a trumpet skips one night of practice, they will notice it in their playing.. two nights, all of the trumpets will know, 3 nights and the whole band can tell whee

French Horns. We have four of them and they mess up alot. Mostly this one player. We most likly have better players in concert band.(My schools lowest seventh/eighth grade band. I'm in the highest.)

Our worst is not entirely the percussion section, just our snare drum. He could not keep a beat to save his life. When he plays, our director shouts the counting at him and the entire flute section plays it on our knees. We have learned his part because we've heard him play it alone so many times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHH its the trumpets for us! Half of them are never there, and they always, ALWAYS play way freaking too loud. Actually, this years percussion in Symphonic Band sucks, cause they moved all the good ones up to Wind Ensemble, so we have two percussionists that suck, are never there, and when they are they're typically high. The bass drum player can't even keep a beat -he always plays AFTER The beat.

i have to say the percussion and the trumpets. the percussion fight over the snare drum and some of them dont know how to play the mallets. when they play the mallets they get lost quickly. and they sometimes speed up on the snare. they also talk and play while our BD is talking to us. the trumpets blast away during music and warm ups. u can hear mostly them when we get to high Bb. they sometimes screw up and some of them dont even know their keys. *this is our second year*

trumpets and saxaphones definitely. the trumpets goof off, play the wrong notes, have bad tone quality, and are always speeding up. the saxaphones never check the key signature and always speed up.
