Sam put it on and she looked at the scale that melted.
She closed her eyes. She was prepared to get burned if the thing didn't work.
"Ok, I'm ready.....i guess...."

Genno pointed the staff at her stomach. Muttering a word, a small ball of flame hit the mail, and when the smoke cleared, nothing had happened. Sam and the suit were intact.
"As I predicted..." Genno muttered, then went back to his horse, deposited his things, and with a signal to Kakashi informing his friend as to his location, he walked off, leaving the horse for Sam so she wouldn't re-injure her leg.

She climbed up onto the horse.
"So, do you want me to take this off?"
She gently kicked the horse in the side to make it go.
"So, once again, we are off, and I still have no idea where."

"Oh, it's yours if you want it" Genno stated. "But as to where we're going, just away from the last place. Kakashi and I have people to confront. If you've nowhere to go, you're welcome to join us."

"Ok, I don't think that I really need to go anywhere else. Thank you for inviting me. I'll just go along for the journey!"
Sam tapped her finger on the mail.

"Well, then I suppose I'll have to let you in on a bit of Kakashi and I's past...
We used to be cave-diggers, meaning we'd go about looking for treasure. It made rich, easy living. One day, we found a strange person named Hideki in one of the caves. Hideki showed me some basic magic, but then betrayed us. He sent us down into a corridor and had us beaten and tortured for days on end by a man who protected his identity by calling himself 'Bubba.' I won't go into detail" he added grimly. "But when we escaped, we vowed to find him and take him down. I suppose that's where we're off to..."
Glancing over at the staff, Genno started off at a faster pace, hoping Kakashi was on his way with the carriage.

With a loud thunderous crash Kakashi appeared with the carriage as Genno had requested he then replied "You rang..." He then asked Sam where she had acquired the platemail from.

Genno clambered aboard the carriage, sticking his head out the open top, pointing forward and yelling "Onward! To the lair of Hideki!"
Genno then informed Kakashi of what had transpired.

"Genno gave this to me, he made it from the scales of the dragon man. It works quite nice, it does!"
Sam sat down in the carrage, in the back seat, and she rested her head back.
She was so tired. She soon fell into a light sleep, she hoped that she didn't miss anything important, while she was asleep.

Genno hopped back onto the horse and rode ahead, searching around. When he finally returned, he told Kakashi to stop the wagon and get some sleep. Genno took the first watch, and slowly nodded off...

It was about an hour after Genno and Kakashi dozed off and Sam woke up. She realized that everyone was sleeping. She thought about going for a little walk but then she quietly laughed.
"Yea, right!" She thought to herself. The last time that she did that, it didn't turn out good. She got comfortable, and then she laid back down, and she fell asleep again.

Genno, in a dream, heard footsteps. His warrior instinct awakening him before the actual footsteps, he stood, spun around, and slashed wildly at one, not yet awake. He then used another spell he did not know he possessed and fell over asleep. He awoke hours later with piles of ash around him that had random weapons scatted about them.

Sam had been awakened when Genno was dreaming. She sat there for an hour and she listened to her ipod.
She saw that Genno was now up.
"Good morning."

Kakashi attempting to sleep in shouted out to Genno and Sam to shut the #@%@ up. Figuring it was useless he arose and walked out to the two in his pj's and sat down to have a nice bowl of miso ramen for breakfast. ninja
