Glissa caught Kirai in a momentary loss of thoughts, staring at her rather obviously for a moment. He played it off by immediately looking for his shoes and acting like he hadn't heard her. "Nuthin..." Kirai slammed his boots against the log a few times, knocking out large quantities of sand so he could put them back on.

"Uh, ok..." The other boot's heel finally popped out of the log, and Glissa quickly slipped it on as well. She stood up, feet sinking awkwardly into the sand once again, and dusted the splinters off her backside. "Ready to head back? Or would you like to stop in town first?" Glissa crouched down to the sand slightly and launched herself about fifteen feet into the air, gracefully did a back flip mid jump, and landed on the more stable ground back in the trees.

Kirai wasn't sure why Glissa had decided to show off like that, out of nowhere; He figured it was normal for her, since that was just how her body worked. He followed with a swift step, answering her in turn. "Nah, i've had enough sunshine for a day. I'd rather relax somewhere..." Kirai thought for a moment, then remembered something. "Hot springs?" Glissa and Kirai had enjoyed the hot springs once before, but not to a great extent. Maybe a second visit would prove more enjoyable?

Glissa stretched out her arms, waiting for Kirai to reach her. "A soak in the springs would be nice." She looked up at the sky, well what little you could see through the tall trees. It was a faded pinkish color, slowly fading to purple. 'Perfect' she thought to herself. Once Kirai was next to her, Glissa turned and stolled casually back toward the path that led to town. "If we take our time on the way back, we should get to campus a little after dark. That way the hot springs should be pretty empty!" A small smile dared to cross her face at that thought, but she promptly scowled to get rid of it.

"Sounds like a plan to me.." Kirai reached into the folds of his tight fitting clothes, and pulled out a Nathaniel Sherman cigarette. He lit it with a black zippo, and continued to drag slowly on it. After a moment of enjoying his cigarette, Kirai figured he'd ask Glissa about something he'd been wanting to for a while now. "Say, what's your middle name?"

Glissa strolled along next to Kirai, staring almost blankly off into the trees. That was until she heard that question. "Wha?" Glissa stalled dead in her tracks. Middle name? That was the worst question he could have asked, and it took her totally off guard. There was no time to make up some excuse this time and she couldn't exactly get angry and start yelling to distract him, which was usually quite effective. "Well... I don't really like telling people that..." Glissa started to go red in the face and stared at the dirt for a few seconds, then began power walking twice as fast as before, hoping Kirai wouldn't press any further.

Walking instead of flying like he normally does, Kyle eventually made it over to Gold Beach. He didn't care how long it had taken him, how he hadn't eaten lunch as the sun hung above his head, for there were thoughts that kept buzzing around in his head. "I should be able to calm my mind now." Kyle took off his socks and shoes before laying in the sand. As he watched the clouds go by, events from earlier were passing through his head. It normally wasn't hard for Kyle to relax his mind and he took deep breaths as he closed his eyes. In a matter of minutes, his mind became calm, his body heavy. Kyle fell asleep without a dream, his wings effortlessly covering his face to avoid getting sunburned.

A glare of sunlight intent on waking Kyle from beneath his wings, his eyes opened. Kyle got up and stretched out before looking at the sky with a shock. "Woah! Did I really just spend all afternoon sleeping here on the beach?" As he rid his wings of any sand that may have gotten on them, a recount of events played through his mind. Hoping that Alastair was alright now, Kyle spread those black-feathered wings and soared through the sky in the direction of the hospital, not bothering to eat something though he hadn't eaten lunch.

After walking through the Tenshi forest Togiretogire got to this nice lake and looked around. This was a nice and calm place. So he sat down on the ground. He took of his shoes and placed them on the ground, close enough to have the waves brush his toes. THe skin under his foot that wasn't visible had turned into his dragon scales just for the feeling of it.

Inuki found herself walking along the shore, before that she was wandering around lost, so she found a piece of driftwood and sat down. While watching the waves silently and thinking about what to do next, she ended up drifting off....while still sitting up.

THE SUMMER BONFIRE HAS BEGUN ~8:00am Its a beautiful summer day. There's not a cloud in the sky and the sky is fading from pale blue to a bright cyan. The sun is starting show through the forest trees. You see a few people making their way down the beach, splaying out their towels and setting up umbrellas. A small group of Roarcos are bustling about the buffet, putting out flowers and the utensils as a finishing touch.

Glissa Navali, the headmistress, was marching up and down a short strip of the beach barking orders and some very scared looking Roarcos and Felines. It was the morning of the summer barbeque and everything was supposed to be set up... Well, now! She quickly gave the designated strip of beach a glance over, and everything seemed to be in place. Not a moment too soon either, because at that very moment Glissa's stomach gave a large gurgle.
"Breakfast time!!!" she whooped and hurriedly ran over to the buffet. There was every type of food imaginable. Glissa started shoveling sausage and corned beef hash onto a plate, humming the whole time.

Some how Ami ended up wandering around the school and out the gates. Apparently she hadn't realized that her new friend had given her directions to the music hall. Either way she walked cautiously towards the sound of voices. Soon enough Ami saw the most beautiful view ever. The beach. Ami had never been to the beach but she had wanted to go so many times. She kept her hands close to her mouth as she walked into the view of everyone. Ami just stood there staring at the pretty beach.

Mizuki found herself walking on the beach, having changed into flip-flops, her katana still swung over her shoulder. After having vented out in the Training Hall it was nice to feel the sunshine on her face, to hear the waves and the calling of birds above her. Walking along the shore her nose caught the scent of something that caused her stomach to protest in want -- food. Walking a little faster, determined to fill to her stomach's needs, she passed by Ami. Nodding to her in acknowledgment and giving her a smile Mizuki walked past and proceeded to buffet. Gazing at the other individuals around her she felt a little shy now, not knowing what to do or say. She was a human, after all, and wasn't sure how to address the other students should they not be human.

A couple hours after the beginning of the event, Austin found himself wandering around the beach aimlessly. He was wearing a pair of tropical shorts, some strapped sandals, and a loose-fitting button-up sun shirt. It was half buttoned, hanging limply on Austin's thin, wiry frame and swaying softly with each step he took. Austin stopped in place after a moment, knelt down, and dug into the sand for something that had caught his eye. A moment later he retrieved a shining sand dollar from the sand. It was like nothing he'd ever seen before; it was pearl white, and it glimmered 'like a diamond. It looked polished, even, it was so bright. After giving it a look over, Austin pocketed it, deciding it would make a nice trinket to remember the day by. With some effort, Austin stood again, only to grab quickly at one of his bullet wounds; It had convulsed from the stretching of his muscles, and it hurt like a son-of-a-b***h. After a moment of rubbing it, and gritting his teeth to hold back his curses, the pain was gone from Austin's wound.
