arrow Winding Stairs, The Desert of The Unknown
It was still dark out, it was almost sunrise. Tsai continued to follow the hollow's blood trail with the help of the moon that was still out but was starting to set. Tsai was determined to hunt down and kill this hollow now, he felt as if he had gotten stronger, it was true what his spirit said.
Tsai's trust in his zampakuto spirit was beginning to increase after every moment he spent training in this imaginary world. But would it increase his power in real life? This was a complete mystery, Tsai would have to survive this training to find out.
A few hours of walking, the blood trail goes cold. It seemed the blood disappears. "He must of submerged deeper into the sand," Tsai muttered quietly to himself as he felt the sand where the blood stained it.
He did submerge, Tsai had wasted his own time. Now he had to wait for it to strike him, he began walking towards the rising sun.

arrow Winding Stairs, The Desert of The Unknown [Day 2]
Tsai felt disappointed in himself for not catching up to the hollow. He began a nice easy run through the desert to find shelter, the wind was beginning to blow once again, the sand storm from yesterday was indeed going to show itself today.
Tsai continued running, soon he found himself back at the fox hole. He was now sure that this place was a maze. He crammed himself into the fox hole and tore his shinigami clothes to make a curtain, he used his katana to hold it against the cave. The sand storm was about to arrive, this was Tsai's only time to sleep and forget his worries.
An hour later, as Tsai predicted, a violent sand storm did arrive. From inside the fox hole Tsai could hear the winds blowing, his curtain would sometimes get blown open and sand would sometimes come in. When that did happen Tsai had to wake up and hold it tight until the wind started dying out again, but this happened every 20-30 minutes. Tsai got some sleep during this sand storm.
For the next 8 hours, Tsai sat in the fox hole wondering when the storm would stop. Would the hollow strike afterwards? Or would Tsai have to hunt it down.
Nightfall soon arrived, the sand storm stopped. Tsai took his curtains and tucked them into whatever was left of his shinigami clothes. He removed his katana from the cave opening and continued his search for the hollow.

arrow Winding Stairs, The Desert of The Unknown [Day 2]
Tsai was tired, he barely got any sleep due to the sand storm. He began a brisk walk through the desert, then suddenly. Tsai was stopped in his tracks. He couldn't move but he was sinking.
It was quick sand! Tsai tried to free himself but it costantly continued to sink him, he looked around, there was nothing but darkness only the moon lit everything up. Then Tsai sighted a boulder nearby but it was too far for his hands to reach. Tsai tried stretching and reaching out to it and almost touching it. No use it was too far. He had an idea he pulled his katana from his belt and took his torn cloth and turned it into a grappling rope. He tossed his katana hoping to grapple onto the boulder and pull himself away.
Objective: Roll Over 15.

The sword didn't wrap around the boulder, Tsai was sinking a bit. He tried again, he tossed his katana after retrieving it. This quick sand was slowly sinking Tsai. And even worst, he was vulnerable to be attacked by the hollow or anything else.
Objective: Roll over 15.

arrow Winding Stairs, The Desert of The Unknown [Day 2]
Another failed attempt. Tsai was sinking every second, he was up to his knees in sand now. He retrieved the katana and tossed it again. "Damnit hook on!" she shouted as he tossed the katana.
The sun was starting to rise as well, the moon had disappeared and the area was becoming lightened by the sun's rays. It was also starting to become hotter and hotter as time went by.

arrow Winding Stairs, The Desert of The Unknown [Day 3]
He finally hooked on begun pulling himself out of the sand. "That was close," he exclaimed as he pulled the torn cloth from his katana and put the katana back onto his belt. He began walking now in search of the hollow.
He was heading westwards away from the rising sun now, he hoped to find the hollow along the same path he went before. It was highly likely the hollow would come back for revenge, as most hollows would.
Tsai began walking back the direction he came from, this time he was watching where he was stepping.
A few hours of walking later, Tsai reached his fox hole, there was blood there. The hollow obviously was searching for him here, he looked around and then behind. There it was the hollow, with it's right arm gone and still bleeding. It looked at Tsai with great desire to kill.
Tsai reached for his katana but it was too late, the hollow made its first move and striked Tsai with its claw.

Tsai flew back as he was hit, and landed on the sand his katana a few inches away from his hand. He got up and picked up his katana and looked at his wound, it was a nice large scar on his chest.

Tsai glared at the hollow, it returned the glare. Tsai then charged and jumped up into the his katana still sheathed with a quick draw he slashed at the hollow hoping to kill it with a final blow. He then sheathed his katana again and looked behind.

The hollow quickly tried to dash forward to dodge the quick Iaido style attack.

The hollow dodged the attack. It seemed it was getting faster as well even without its arm. It twirled and flipped and with its single hand did a hand stand. He then bent its arm and launched itself into the sky. It was diving down and prepared to chomp at Tsai.

Tsai waited for the hollow to come close enough to dodge. When its shadow was close Tsai began to back dash away from the shadow.

Tsai dodges the dive and is now ready for a counter. He dashes forward and runs across the hollow. As he is doing this, he is also drawing his katana and slashing at the hollow, then sheathing his katana again.

The hollow is still confused of what's Tsai's doing and jumps back unaware of what's happening.

The hollow dodged an attack without even realising it. The hollow reached out its arm and launched itself again into the air to prepare for another Biting Dive.

Tsai looks up and waits again for the hollow to come closer to him before he began running. When the shadow was dark he began to run.

Tsai dodged the attack and was again in a counter position. This hollow was as smart as Tsai credited it to be. Tsai ran and did another Iaido slash and ran past it.

The hollow head was in the ground and pulled it out. He still did not know what Tsai was doing running past him like that and backed up.

Tsai had to admit this hollow was fighting at the same level as him. He always thought hollows were below Shinigami's. But now he realize they weren't. As there are weak shinigami's there are also weak hollows.
The hollow chased after Tsai and rammed himself at him hoping to take a bite at Tsai as well. Tsai held his sheath and rolled sideways.

Tsai somersaulted from the ground and got up, his eyes were focused on one thing: the hollow. The sand in the area was still blowing at him but he did not really care about it. Tsai moved towards the hollow with new found speed, drew his katana, slashed at the hollow and retreated.
The hollow backed up while Tsai was rushing at him, he was figuring out what Tsai was doing.

The hollow now realizing that Tsai was using a type of swordplay he had never seen dug itself back into the sand. Tsai waited patiently, he was sweating and breathing heavily. He looked around observing everything that moved, the wind blowing the sand, the sun's shimmer, everything.
The hollow made it's appearance and attempts to punch Tsai with its arm. Tsai , using only his katana sheath attempts to stop the punch and return a slash at the hollow. He was quite calm now compared to their last battle.
