IceintheInk I don't get people who don't like SOAD... but I also try not to insult bands that they DO care about. I wouldn't want someone to talk s**t about SOAD however much they disliked them, and clearly a lot of you guys feel the same - so why are a lot of people here posting nasty comments about other bands? I don't mean to be confrontational but, isnt this whole topic a little bit hypocritical? neutral GOOD POINT!!

Just speakin' my mind :3 And like if I do that, in real life it's usually because that person just said someting bad about SOAD, it's something like this thread where the actual person most likely won't read it, and I sometimes do that with my friends, but we do that a lot as like... a friend thing o_o

I s'pose we are hypocrites. However all i was trying to say is that Panic! is a lot like other bands where as SOAD is rather diffrent. I am saying i dont like them.
In other words...you are correct and i feel like a complete a**. sweatdrop

In other words...you are correct and i feel like a complete a**. sweatdrop ahhh don't feel like an a**. you are right. soad have a lot of originality where a lot of other bands don't. i cant say i've actually really seen bitchy "omg that band sux" type of comments here, i just wanted to throw the issue out there before it got to that stage.

I admit P!ATD do have a certain amount of originality but to compare them to System, a band which constantly pushes the boundaries of conventional music... is just stupid.

Eh.. it's his opinion. If he wants to shove it in people's faces thats his business. If he doesn't like SOAD - well, WE love them, so who cares what other people think?

I don't think he understands what "a guy with the band" meant.

is that a joke?!!? evil he's basically saying that nothing will happen with recognition...OF COURSE IT WILL HELP!! Gerald Ford said something along the lines of 'recognition helps to avoid these things from ever happening again' <-- about the Japanese Internment camps if enough countries recognize it, maybe Turkey will too and help to stop genocide from ever occuring again! IceintheInk ur right it is his opinion but...it just seems like a very unfair one
