The Dreadnought wrapped itself in a circle around him, and Xeen hopped off, grinning. He advanced on the writhing McKinnly, and knelt down near him with a grin.

Your lack of ability to use them properly showed that they did not 'emerge', but simply that you had obtained them in some other fashion."

He stopped his writhing and stood perfectly still, staring in Xeen's direction, still unable to see. "Pure Energy, James. What is it? And where did you get your powers? He laughed, and held up his left hand, it glowed the familiar blue color of pure energy and then began to pulse, growing into a sphere that shot up above them. It split and rained down in lightning strikes of energy. ((Energy storm takes 30LP spread out among the enemies in the vicinity, which should be Xeen, Ora, Drako, and the dreadnought--which would equal to at least 7 each.)) (2 20)

Seeing the dreadnaught and Soltari taking chase at the blind guy and gaurding him, and then looking and spotting Ora. In this short time he didnt expect the lighting as it struck down on him. He only zapped for a second before his claws glowed in a blright blue, channeling the electricity through them, nullifying it. But it still hurt like crazy. Shaking himself off quickly and making a bolt for Ora to try and keep her from getting it too just off of an not even split second descision. Hoping to beat the lightning to her and take the blast of hers onto his scales, or atleast move her out of the way of the blast.
Hp - 43 (36 if I managed to help Ora)

Ora tilted her head as the lightning came close, and had to force herself from smiling as Drako appeared. He took the majority of the lightning, Ora only getting slightly burned from a couple of sparks (2LP-taken up for adding reasons)). She turned to Drako with her usual stolid face, but in the most unusual behaviour she grabbed onto his scaly arm in a hug. "she's gone, they killed her."

Xeen staggered to his feet, his skin and clothing burned and smoldering. He winced as he picked up his sword, and, with considerable effort not to fall, he made his way to McKinnly.
He turned to see Ora was more-or-less unscathed. He smiled lightly to her, and then set his gave on McKinnly.

Mckinnley smiled, taking not time in repeating the previous act with another power, the glowing storm continuing again. (1 20)

She gave a soft nod to her father, and continued to watch as he threatened Mckinnley. "If you have need, I have ways of persuading a person to talk, ways that are less...messy."

There is a sudden skipped beat in his heart as he looks at Ora and then looks over at McKinnley and stands up next to Ora letting her do as Soltari told her to but moves closer to the two just to watch, partially out of curiousity. But knowing of Sufferances death although showed no change in his emotions on the outside. In his eyes a fire raged wanting to make the monsters responcible suffer. But he would wait....he would have his chance so for that moment he would just stand and watch.

"Nothing will happen to him until he tells me what this 'Pure Energy' is. The Six's involvement with this has lead to many supers vanishing, and lead to this man signing my wife's life away to see it safe." He looked at McKinnly, "Or perhaps he killed her himself, although I find it unlikely that he would sully his own hands."
