Morgan approached the estate, fresh from a long sleep. When she finally made her way all the way up the entrance, she naged on the front doors, not sure of how one shold announce oneself there.

"Oh, I don't sleep at night." She took note of what he was wearing and gave herself a mental shrug. Her military years hadn't required a uniform for mages, but he had the right idea. "First I need an idea of what we can channel through you. Were you born at day or night? Was your father in the milita? Any unusual marking that I have not seen?" She'd check next for chakra points.

"The morning. Ok. And your father, any distinct medals? Odd circumstances? And I'll need your shirt off, but that's to check for the energy flow. I'll take your word for the marks." It didn't seem like he would be a mana user, which was good as she was less experienced with them anyways.

"Within the body there is a potential intrinsic energy that if tapped, can enable one to perform extraordinary feats of power. The potential for such energy exists in all human beings to some degree, and can be increased through certain disciplines. " she rested her hands on his head "It is not a visible substance. It is ethereal and is contained in the atmosphere, where it circulates and permeates throughout the universe." they dropped down to his shoulders. Definatly not mana, the points for Prajna were missing.

"It's a big wad of energy that anyone can use." she put bluntly "the three forms are mana, ki and chakra. Chakra is the combination of the two and is in most cases more powerful. However, we live in a sea of this energy, an energy that renews itself daily and promotes life functions in a manner similar to the air we breathe. We are limited as to how much of this force we can contain only by our capacity to absorb it. Ki and Mana are more flexible in increasing the capacity depending on what you do when you are not engaged." Her hands traced his collarbone and settled on his chest. She was close.

"We stole it from the youkai, so yes, I doubt it corresponds to our various faiths." she left them on the chest "When you breathe that's when you generate more. Every bit of this force has to come through your lungs. So most is always in the chest." she closed her eyes for a moment. She was so close to seeing the flow. It was if energy was being conducted through an eletrolyte, she could see it in his blood even. Her eyes opened and she smiled "Ki"

"Ki came to be used about the same time as mana, mana just came in a different region. It's almost as if they have personalities. I would call mana sexist. Anyways, ki can be increased through rest, food or sex. To learn to focus the increased ki you have gained, and even to be able to channel it there are excercises you need to learn. Eventually it will be violent acts, but now we can start with breathing and simple casting." She took her hands off him "You can put your shirt back on."

"I belive it favors men. Chi, it's cousin does the opposite. It gives women an inexhaustable supply of chi, but it very hard to control whenever one wants to utilize it. You first lesson? Your first lesson is to sit, with your back to the wall and cross legged. Make sure to be comfortable but not too much so."
