Has anyone gotten the Level 99 Red Chocobo? Please, if you yourself have gotten it to spawn, or seen someone else spawn it with your own two eyes, help me. I'm sick of this 'here's how i figure you do it... i haven't gotten it yet myself though' posts all over the place. I need confirmed data, this thing is impossible and I want a Ribbon dammit.
I have not spawned it myself, but if you are still looking for a ribbon I do know of an easier way to get one. Go to the Save Crystal in the Cerobi Steppe, the easiest way is to use the Strahl to get there. Make sure you have the Diamond Armlet equipped and save your game once you get there. Now go north to the next area and look for the rock in the pictures below.

Ribbon LocationAlso, if you do not get a ribbon when you open the chest, reset and try again. (I believe there's only a 5% chance or less of the chest containing a ribbon) You can also go at least two areas away to get the chest to respawn but it's not a guaranteed respawn. Sometimes the chest will be there, sometimes it won't, which is why I suggest just reseting the game, saves time. Just keep trying till you get a ribbon. Alot easier than trying to get the Level 99 Red Chocobo to spawn.
