Richard only nodded when Tristan mentioned the pain. He was convinced his change had nearly killed him. He was sure the entire village must have heard his screaming.
At the reversal sentiment Richard was surprised that he had actually never considered the possiblitly. Could Moreau reverse the changes? Would it be a trivial thing for him? Could some one who simply understood how the serum worked do it? Richard's mind spun with possiblities and what if senarios. After a moment, he spoke. "Moreau could do it I bet... if he wanted to. As for his grandfather... he told me about that too. Said his grandfather turned animals into humans but he thought the reverse was far more interesting."
The tentacles moved to strike when Moreau's name was mentioned but Richard caught them and tensed, holding them in place.
"Oh I'm not a squid but thats all I know. Something mythical they said. Or hinted at. The library's mythology section is a bit small. I haven't been able to find anything."

Kaveri was the vulture woman who had inspired such a strong sense of hope in Emerwyn. Maybe she could do the same for Zach.
She smiled. "I think that is a splendid idea." Her tongue slipped a little when she said the word 'splendid.' Getting married. Bobby had mentioned there being a priest on the Island, at the same time that she suggested that she and Ian become permanent - companions. She shook her head, as though physically shaking away the thought. She was beginning to feel rather disoriented. At first she didnt' want to like it, but she did feel rather giddy.
"Those kind of feelings should not be bottled in - they'll eventually destroy you." She nodded wisely. "Even if it doesn't work out, at least you will know that you have spoken what you felt."

"Will do. I'll wrap it up in a towel or something so the damp or the bugs don't get to it." He said before giving the tiger-man a nod and trotting off out of the party for now, clanking along in his armour, it wasn't like he needed the stuff anyway, he couldn't take it with him into the jungle and something told him Jamal needed all the creature comforts he could get after open surgery with Billy who was probably more used to stitching up stab wounds than stuff like that and with fingers, not tentacles.
As he stepped outside, he cringed again and snickered.
"Everyone is stark raving mad in this place."
That's what made it feel like home no doubt.

Chubbs heard the sounds of people and music, but he smelled them before he even saw the tent. Not to mention the trail of cologne, perfumes and phermones was pretty rank in the air. He stood at a distance from the tent, dressed in his costume, watching through the mesh of his helmet.
He wasn't sure if he should go in, would people remember him? What if Zach was there? Would he attack him? Chubbs took a deep breath and thought f*ck it. He'd been locked up for three months, he needed some fun. Walking towards the tent, he thought he saw a dog come outside. As he got closer, her saw it was a dog in a roman sorta costume. Jesus, what had happened to him? Chubbs couldn't help but stare a little, but made his way towards the tent regardless.
He thought he was close enough to start dragging his knife. The thing was blunt as hell and couldn't poke a piece of paper, but it made a really cool scraping sound when he dragged it along the ground. Chubbs remembered all too well how much he freaked playing that game and how he'd run hearing that sound, man silent hill was creepy. Chubbs finally walked up to the doorway and made his way inside, to see how the party was going.

Rex walked through the village to the enormous tent set up specifically for the special halloweek event. His hair/mane had begun to grow back and had a much more noticeable length than it has when he was first found in the forest by Kaveri. He was clad appropriately for the party and couldn't wait to have some fun at his first big social event in a long time. Rex wore a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled to just below his elbows. A fashionable yellow vest was worn over the shirt and was accompanied by a stylish stetson to his shorn head. He managed to cram his clawed feet awkwardly into some cowboy boots and the labs sent him a nice pair of spurs with his request of a cowboy costume. A bandana around his neck and a pair of chaps was the icing on the cake of his classic cowboy costume; the steriotypical cow-hide never did it for him.
Rex tossed aside the entrance flap of the tent with confidence, he needed to have some fun after a long dry spell of boredom. This party was just the thing he needed to let loose a little and have a good time. With a stalk of straw hanging flimsily from his black lips, he looked through the crowd to see who had decided to show.

"You know, you're right. Sss'true." And there went his careful grasp on the letter S. Not that it mattered much. The deer-woman's words made total sense to him. "As sssoon as I see her, I'm going to tell her."
He glanced out over the milling crowd of humans and half-humans. There was someone new now... Rex!? He growled a little as he stared pointedly at the guy, his frill fanning. God, how he hated that stupid lion. Rex had slugged him in the face the last time they'd met. Had Sabin really exacted his revenge on the guy?

"Good, good," she said, taking another deep drink. The second cup was nearly empty. "I am glad for it."
She followed Zach's gaze dazedly, her glance also landing on Rex. However, her feelings were not quite the same. She was frightened at first, some of it the deer, perhaps. But mostly, it was the memory of their last meeting, and what he had done. She still didn't blame him, but what if it happened again? But, before she was able to stop herself, she was waving to him, with a strange smile on her face.

Rex was just about to make his way over to the table where the delicious scent of meat had wafted from, but his bee-line to the table was interrupted by a waving from the corner of his eye. He turned to find Emerwyn greeting him cheerily. This was enough to change his attention from the food and he walked over to the woman in her sexy costume. His testerone and the Lion both agreed: Women > Food. Unfortunately, he didn't even realize who she was speaking with until it was too late to change his course once again. Zach's ugly mug triggered in his head after he had already arrived with his greeting, "Well howdy, lil' misseh." He spoke in a bad southern accent on purpose, as a joke that went along with his costume. He then turned to Zach and acknowledged him with a flat "Hello, Zachary."

Nothing... nada... Chubbs was almost glad that nobody had noticed him enter, but then again, could they tell who it was? Chubbs took a big sniff and noticed the food table and licked his muzzle, it surely looked good.
Making his way over, he looked about the room, smiling at the pretty cool costumes and how amusing some of them were, but the dog in the roman outfit sure took the cake. He slung his big mock knife onto his shoulder and looked at all the food. Chubbs was glad he left some room under his helmet to get food under it, and drink, with a straw. Grabbing up a few chunks of meat, Chubbs pushed them under his helm and gobbled them up in seconds.

Zach looked over at Emerwyn a moment, seeing her dazed expression, but he couldn't keep his attention away from the lion for long. He watched Rex stalking over and his right hand closed around the plastic pitchfork. It wasn't much of a weapon, but if the stupid feline tried anything, Zach wasn't afraid to whack him in the face with it.
Even if Rex didn't do anything, it'd probably come down to that. But not in front of Emerwyn. She seemed to like him.
"Rexss." He noticed that the lion seemed to have a great deal less of a mane than he usually did. That couldn't be normal. He broke out into a malicious looking grin. "Where'sss your boyfriend?"

With Tristan only nodding in response Richard had begun to go back to his table. He was stopped by a sudden grumble deep in his gut as all the food shifted. Richard made a face. Time for a long bathroom break. Richard hurried back to his duplex. The cost of good demanded to be paid, he'd be back later.

Emerwyn blinked a few times. Rex... Rex is my friend... I ran away. I though he was going to eat me... He kissed me. I did not want him to do that.
Emerwyn's logic had slowed considerably since she finished off the second cup of Zach's punch. "Rex... hi! I see you know Zachary..." She was not able to pick up on the animosity that shone glaringly between the two of them. Instead, she blinked hard again, and set down her cup.

(List isn't updated yet, but this is her costume, going as a phoenix) Shenzi approached the large halloween styled tent with a sure step, the feathers attached to her hips bobbing gently in the breeze, and with each step. She figured she wouldn't know any of the people there; the only people she had met been Miller, Dr. Duvert and a girl named Nita who seemed to like her halloween costume so much that she wore it before the event. Sighing to herself, she let that train of thought slip; she had tried to get Miller to come with her, but he had locked his door and stolidly refused to come with. Screw that, then. Setting her shoulders back, she let a small smile creep on her face as she entered the large tent, immediatly being assailed by noise; music, people talking, laughter, and everything else. Tucking a strand of hair behind an ear, she wove her way through the people, towards the food tables, careful to not let her tail feathers catch on anything, lest they come out.

Rex ignored Zach comment completely and didn't even bother to spare the man a second glance. "Yeah, we've met." he murmured while still looking directly at Emerwyn.
He grabbed a drink and sat down at the table, downing a small sip before continuing with the conversation, "How's this party been so far?" While it was an open question, it's not hard to argue that Rex directed it to the fine doe before him.

Chubbs didn't turn around, just like he used to be at parties. he'd stick to one place and hide there. He nticed he was getting a little carried away on the food, and decided to calm down for a bit and grab a drink. Just as he was about to turn and go, he nearly bumped into someone to his side, his helmet made it hard to see things clearly.
" Woa!.. sorry, didn't see you there"
She had a nice costume on, really pretty feathery dress, and by the looks of things, no changes, but he could have been wrong.
" That's a nice costume"
Chubbs couldn't believe his voice had changed, it was like a deeper, darker, gruffer version of darth vader. It was rather creepy.
