Rikku got her laughter under control & turned her swirling green eyes up to look at the blue ones she loved so much. Seeing the shinobi's light blush she tilted her head curiously at him before giving Naruto a quick kiss on the spot, Her curiosity shifted to playful coyness & she tugged lightly on his hand. "If I know you, 'Ruto, I'd bet you were hungry."
Her hat bounced a bit on her braids as Rikku inclined her head at the food tables. "Someone's sure set out a good spread, and we can see what that girl's costume is supposed to be!" Rikku obviously had no experience with "schoolgirls". She bounced two steps closer to the tables making her loose blonde hair sway across her back, her fingers lightly entwined with her paramour's.

Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "It's from Thamasa, where I was born." Relm had turned her attention to the drinkers for a moment, & was trying to show the shine of Demyx's halo without using her magic for more than the creation of the paint itself. Rufus had been correct in saying that using magic to paint was cheating in a way. It still irked her though. She was as good a painter with or without her magic. And her magic was natural to her. Relm put her concentration back to the painting & their conversation. "Pip... that's awfully cute for such a handsome audio."
She said so more with an artist's critique than from any attempt to be coy. "As for subjects, I prefer living ones. My family, more often than not. People I see when I'm out & about." Relm gave a light shrug of her green tinted shoulders. "But really, as long as I'm painting something I'm not too terribly picky."
Remembering her need to paint something worth painting that day in the park the artist-mage blushed scarlet. "Though sometimes, I long to paint someone with exceptional grace, beauty, character... or something hidden within..."
On the lower end of the page where she had been drawing those circled drinking was a smaller image of 13 audios in matching attire, four of whom were obviously among the drinkers. Relm blinked at it in surprise, not remembering having painted it.
Distracted, she hurriedly turned the page to a fresh one -magically drying the paint as she did. Looking at the Shakespearian Actor as she painted him Relm noted casually. "But you... you would rather be somewhere else..." Her head tilted and her light green eyes sparkled keenly. "A special "subject" perhaps?"  "You could say that." Pip chuckled slightly then waved his pencil around for a moment as if to waft that though away. He was here for the moment and that troll was over there anyways so it wasn't like anything could be done about it. He'd rather chuck it up to a lost cause for a moment and consentrait on what could be attained in the now. "Living subjects are much more fun to draw than stationary ones. So many expressions and so many emotions, it gives a certain... random-ness to the whole artform." He carefully diverted the conversation back onto the older track before noticing the other's slight blush that came from such an observant eye, cultured from being an artist for so long. "I see you may have a favorite subject too?" He couldn't resist making a return jibe, even if in fun.Ravenfyre "I don't think I've ever met a troll before... I have to admit you don't look a thing like you see in children's books. They don't do you justice." Haze said, looking amused. His eyes went the size of saucers, his face the color of a tomato, "Pip talks about me?!" That couldn't be right, he had only talked to the pnada once before... maybe twice. What could the other audio possibly have to say about him? Though his embarrassment was put on hold by the troll's strange comment. "See through bones? Read stones..? Are you some sort of... fortune teller..?" Somehow that didn't sound right to him, though. RavenFyre Lainey blushed darkly, still not used to getting such warm compliments even after all this time. She giggled softly at the change in music, though it was just a bit awkward to move around in her large skirts, after a few trials she seemed to find a way to do it properly. She spotted Immi, recognizing her from before. She had met her siblings as well. "Immi, I love your costume!" She gushed. "It's really original!" She blushed all over again at being called a 'beautiful partner.' Or was Immi congradulating her and calling Aiden beautiful? Either way it made her happy. Trelweny Aiden bowed again. Thank ye. I'm very blessed." He waved lightly as Imogen went left them & held his arm out for Lainey. "My lady? A drink?" The highlander indicated the tables with food and drink, not the liquor cabinets. He recognized the knight & the schoolgirl by the tables from the day at the beach, though he had never been introduced to either of them. Still he nodded politely if they looked his way. Trelweny Yahto bounced happily in place as Imogen neared. "Wow!! A lion in a tutu!!" It looked awfully funny for a 6 foot (seven feet eleven inches including the ears) blue donkey to he hopping a foot off the ground -Relm had used a pretty good spell to see that her brother did not step on anyone's toes- but the cyan yoshi audio did not seem to notice or mind. "That's great!"
Praise for the moment finished, Yahto went into one of his favorite games -meeting people! "I'm Yahto!! & this is my friend, Chii!" He beamed fondly as the lolita dressed AudioCom with complete innocence. RavenFyre Chii just smiled softly, blushing a light pink from the praise. She was surprised when the music changed once again, but quickly fell back into the more energetic form of bounce dancing. When Yahto called to her she turned her attention to where the cyan yoshi pointed, "Chii?" She saw the singer and tilted he head curiously, not sure what to make of her.

Haze decided he would listen to what Malis had to say before injecting his opinion on it. He never was one to believe in magic and other such things, but his family being his family sometimes it was hard to deny. He coudln't help but be embarrassed to be told that someone liked him, he hoped that he kept his expression passive on the matter. He watched the troll curiously. He flinched and pulled back a bit when she suddenly thrust his hand right under his nose, thinking for a second that she was going to punch him. "A-ah... Alright..." What could it hurt, really? Leaning forward and blew onto her hand, not really sure if that was what he was supposed to do. "Like this?"
Lainey laughed sheepishly, "I think my costume is a bit over the top, but I do like it... the wig's a bit itchy, though," she admittied to the flower audio. She saw Immi make her way towards Yahto and Chii, then turned her attention back to her gallant beau. "Something to drink would be wonderful." She nodded and hooked her arm around his, resting her other hand on her own arm to carefully be led off the dance floor. "I don't think I've ever seen these many audios together all at once."
Chii seemed to relax more when the strange lion head came off and a normal audio was underneath. Once again she looked between Yahto and Immi, squeaking a small 'Chii!' when the flower audio took her hand in an energetic handshake. "Chii... It's nice to meet you, Immi. My name is Chii." she smiled politely, though her eyes were shining happily to meet someone new. "Chii is having lots of fun!" she nodded happily, "Yahto shows Chii how to dance!"

Haze looked at each piece Malis pointed to intently, as if he could understand the meanings for himself once she explained them. He was quiet a moment, his brows furrowing. "So what you are saying is that I'm avoiding things in my life..? What kind of things am I avoiding..?" He was surprised with himself over how seriously he was taking this reading. He snorted softly, "Well I guess if you consider family as part of friends I could have a lot... but I don't really know that many people that are not part of my family. And is this fossil supposed to represent someone?" He scooted even closer at her pause, "What is it?"

"I.... guess that I do avoid some things... I..." Haze stopped himself there, too embarrassed to bare his soul out to anyone, much less someone he just met. "I'm trying to get better at it," he said instead. The troll was actually giving him quite a lot to think about, maybe it was time for some introspect some things in his life. He blushed when his mind jumped to someone specific that the fossil could represent, someone black and white and very warm, friendly, and inviting, but he quickly shook that thought away. He chuckled softly, "You mean yourself? You are quite lovely, though I'm sure most amazon-looking women are," he threw back with a wink of his own. He blushed crimson all over again when she made indirect mention of Pip, wondering if she could read his ind. "A-ah... I'll keep that in mind..." He took the stone and looked down at it intently. "I-is this for me..?"

"Yessums, for you." Malis nodded and started gathering her crystals and bones, putting them carefully back into her pouch. "Ahh, Haze think troll is from Amazon? Malis need t' show Haze where Ogrimmar be. Though Malis don't know if she can get back there. No matter, Malis be having fun here." She turned to the other audio and grinned. "Thankya for t' complement. This troll don't mind being 'lovely' especially when it mean Malis get to talk to handsom audio like Haze." She decided to let Haze make up his own mind about Pip but did make sure he knew that she was one he could ask anything about. "Malis always ready to read stones for Haze if he want... But don't expect the next one t' be free. Malis gave gift this time, next time it be Haze to give gift." Bartering was the way the troll worked, it was a good thing that she accepted interesting bits of rocks and baubles more than gold or gems actually worth something.

He smiled and pocketed the stone for safekeeping, "Well, you're tall and voluptuous, which can make many people think of amazons, though I guess I haven't really seen one myself." He grinned, with just a hint of a blush, falling easily into his 'suave guy' act now that he was more comfortable. "I'm glad to got to meet you, Malis. You're a good person to talk to. You help me think about who I am and just what I'm doing." He raised an eyebrow in amusement, "What kind of things would you like as gifts? I'm afraid I'm not very rich"

"Shinies... I think I have a few of those at home... Well... not like diamond or gold shinies, but I have a few things." Haze wasn't sure if what she said was meant as a compliment or not, "Umm... thank you..?" He chuckled softly, "You think you'd be bored in that party..? I just felt overwhelmed by all those people in there."

Relm blushed hotly. "Not in the way you're thinking, nor why." No, Rufus ShinRa was definitely not a favorite subject... as much as she had liked painting him before. No. For a favorite subject like she wanted... Relm wanted someone who could love & respect her, someone she could respect, someone only for her.
But the question brought to mind her dear friend & the artist mage smiled softly to herself -almost forgetting Pip was there. "I do paint my friend, Keme, a lot though. His coloring is so vibrant... he's easy to paint."
As she spoke, the image of an audio -mostly green with blue, red, & white- patterned like a hummingbird appeared on her page. He sat in a tree & appeared to be humming as he flipped through a book while a small boom-box played on the ground. More than her other paintings tonight, this one seemed stunningly real. Like a window to something actually happening that moment.
Aiden smiled gently as he led her to the table, sniffing the glass of punch before handing it carefully to her free hand -content that he noticed nothing strange in the mix. "I have, bu' nae since I was a pup have I been in & around so many... mingling." He nodded at the nearby Seifer & Namine, showing that he recognized them from the beach though they had not been introduced since the pair had been swimming. "I dinnae mind so much, now." Aiden winked almost shyly at his "princess" before picking up a drink for himself. "Te be seen wit' such a bonny lass as ye, my lady... aye. I hope ye dinnae mind if I feel a bit o' pride in showin' ye off."
Yahto hopped in delight. "You know!! You really know!! That's the bomb!" He grinned with pleasure & beamed while nodding that Chii had told that he was showing her how to dance. "But original compared to a lion in a tutu? I'm not the one who wrote the books! However did you come up with yours?"

Lainey smiled shyly, a pink flush dusting her cheeks. But it was at that moment that a beeper hidden in the many layers of her dress went off. She squealed in surprise, having forgotten about it, set her cup of punch down and started to serach for it, sighing softly once she retrieved it, "I'm sorry Aiden, but we're needed back home now." She looked crestfallen to have to leave so suddenly. She leaned up and kissed him softly. "I'll see you soon," she smiled softly then looked around in search of her siblings.
A beeping suddenly went off coming from the audiocom. Chii reached towards the white and pink second pair of ears she had instead of headphones, clicking the left side open. The beeping got louder when she did until her slim fingers pressed down on a button and the beeping stopped, a soft whirring sound taking it's place, the blonde's eyes going distant before coming back, closing the ear again with a soft click. "Chii must go now," she stated simply, hugging Yahto goodbye with a kiss on the cheek before she turned and walked up to her sister, the firework audio hard to miss in her large, elegant dress. "Goodbye Mr. Aiden," she bowed her head politely to him then dragged Lainey off in search of their brother.
Haze was both relieved and a touch disappointed when his beeper went off, fishing it out of his shirt and seeing what the number message meant. "I'm needed at home." And he hadn't gotten to see Pip all night. Oh well. He had been both looking forward and dreading that visit and now it all fizzled out without finding out which emotion won out in the end. "It was nice to meet you, Ms. Malis. I hope we meet again. And tell Pip I said hi," wih a bow of his head he politely excused himself, heading back into the house, spotting his sisters and leaving the party with them.
(Yes I know that was cheap, but if I didn't close things up, this would have fizzled out without an ending XD;; )
