my favorite bassist would have to be Joun Paul Jones of Led Zepplen. biggrin
agreed, for electric bassist.

But John Paul Jones was so much more than just a bassist. He really was such an all around musician. He was a good keyboard player too, and I know there's a story of him buying a nice set of tabla when they all went to India.

Twiggy Ramierez of Marilyn Manson, or now by his real name Jeordie White for Nine Inch Nails, for being able to co-write two of MM's major albums and develop guitar and bass parts to the songs, let alone doing it all in a dress. pirate Flea is friggin' awesome too, so he's right up on top with JW too. 3nodding ^^
