Felyx had been dazzled by the sudden burst of sunlight, but then looked around. It was raining, and she was getting drenched. She looked up and then noticed it was only raining on her. Oh....Crap. Her powers of controlling the weather had gone a bit...over-board. Se concentrated for a second and the rain stopped. That's embarrassing... She then raised her hand and pointed it at the sun, and it grew a little hotter on her, drying her clothes and hair almost instantly. Better.

Felyx then thought of where to go. She considered everything from the library to the school's church and then decided on the courtyard. Maybe I'll meet someone there...

A lone figure appeared at the gate, pausing for a moment to peer silently through the bars. The young woman's skin was pale, almost white as paper, with fierce red eyes partially obscured by dark bangs. The rest of her hair trailed easily to her waist, and she was dressed in the most odd clothings. Victorian. That's what one would call it. A full skirted, lacy and ruffled, Victorian dress, with long sleeves with ruffles at the end and a collar that covered her chest and the base of her neck. The skirt reached the ground, brushing against it as she moved, effectively hiding any hint of her footware.

Propped against her shoulder, held within the slender fingers that showed from fingerless gloves, was an umbrella. It was open, yet there wasn't a drop of rain in the sky. At least, not directed at her. Just pure, threatening sunlight. Her clothing kept her body protected, and the umbrella served to shield her face. Her nose wrinkled at the mere thought of what could happen, the movement wrinkling fabric. Thus, the most strange part of her outfit was revealed; the mask she wore. It was cloth, black like the rest of her clothing, and held by elastic bands that hooked behind her ears, keeping it settled firmly over her nose and most so her eyes were the only visible part of her face.

She tilted her head back, peeking from under the rim of the umbrella, before she shifted the lone bag she carried in her other hand and finally passed through the gates. She strode forward with an air of elegance around her, and despite that she knew she was lost and didn't know what to do, or why she was even here, she appeared to know exactly where she was going. So her pace continued, confidently carrying her forward across the yard. The way her skirt skimmed just above the blades of grass gave her the appearance of hovering.

I suppose I should first locate my room... she thought to herself, eyes drifting down to the bag she clutched.

Erika pulls up the iron rod gates of her knew school. "This is it. No turning back now..Im going to change." She sits in the car and closes her eyes letting horrific memories pass her eye lids. Erika then shakes herself once she sees a lady. Erika rolls down her tinited window and looks at the lady, she gives a faint smile as the lady greets her. "Thanks.." Erika then passes the lady as she shows her a close parking spot. Erika parks and checks herself, she tries to remove as much small knives and daggers as she could. She then leaves a few on her. Erika grabs her bag and heads out the car, she looks at the sky. Sunny with a few clouds, "Hopefully this is my mood.." Erika takes a deep breathe, and pulls her bag tighter to her shoulder as she enters the gates of her new high school.

The Doctor spied the two new entrants from the tree he was sat it, taking a bite from his apple. It was yellow, and he wasn't one for yellow ones. The red ones were always better, everyone knew that, but there still had to be the inconvienent yellow ones... He'd much prefer a banana, in fact, but there was no helping the matter. This place might be a bit more interesting with some 'new blood', as it were. Since he couldn't seem to fix his fantastical flying machine that was sat on the roof - well, flying, it's more trans-dimensional...well, trans-dimensional, it's more traveling relative to itself...

'No matter', he thought cheerfully to himself, getting off-track without realizing it - he'd soon have people to pontificate to! It'd been boring all on his lonesome here at the school. The Doctor finished up his apple, tossing the core over his shoulder. He wiped his hands on the lapels of his brown trench coat and leapt from the tree, landing cat-like on his feet. The dirt on his clothes was apparent, as was the slick of oil from working on his ship, but he barely noticed. "Hello ladies!" The alien blatantly greeted, a huge grin lighting up his face. He jammed his hands in his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels, much like an antsy three year old. "School's apparently not in session at the minute, buuuuuut..." The tawney-haired man stretched out the word, "...I can give you the grand tour anyway! What do you say? I've got a great sense of direction, me!"

Vivian nearly ignored the strangely cheerful man. After all, she was intent upon reaching her room and dumping off her things, or perhaps waiting until nightfall to do her exploring of the campus. But he had joined her, and another it seemed, as he said 'ladies' as plural. After a pause and a glance around, she located the other and managed to give both him and this other a frown. Though, only her eyes were allowed to show, the mask she wore blocking her nose and mouth and her hair sweeping down on either side of her face, like a frame. Her posture brimmed with impatience, from the way she stood, to the crease in her forehead, down to the idle spinning of the umbrella she held against her shoulder despite the blatant lack of rain. However, a small portion of his words seemed to catch her attention. "A tour?" she repeated, eying him carefully, as if judging whether it were a genuine offer, or simply a lure to her death. Surely they wouldn't allow such things on a school campus? There would be younger, more gullible children about. Then again, this place contained non-humans. She was one herself, and this man didn't smell entirely right either.

Red eyes strayed back to the bag she held, then jumped once more to the man, and she sighed against her mask, the sound hidden and almost muted. Her expression could be read only by her eyes, though those seemed to be rather expressive on their own, unless she truly tried to disguise it. She felt no need to try at the moment. "As long as that direction points to the dormatories," she agreed at length, and after a pause, made a rather grand sweeping motion of her arm, lifting the heavy bag along with it as if it were a feather between her fingers. "Very well then. Lead the way." Then she waited, surrounded by a thick air of expectancy.

The Doctor kept his grin in place, even when he took a moment to inspect the prim and proper looking young lady. If there was anything he could do, it was be overly-cheerful even when it didn't quite impress the present company. "Yep!" He said, popping the 'p' in an over-the-top sort of way. "A tour is always the best way to start off new things, I think! I mean, how else will you know where to go when it's time for lunch! Most important meal of the day...no! Wait, that's breakfast. Lunch is quite good too, though! Can't have chips - or do you call them fries here? - for breakfast! Weeeeell...I suppose you can, but..." The alien with the brown hair rambled, closing the distance between him and the closer girl as he spoke, the one with the air of mystery and the shroud. A closer look did wonders, after all, and his pontificating always distracted a person enough for him to ease the distance. He briefly wondered about the mask; it was an interesting choice of accessories. A mask was handy for covering when you had something to hide. Eyes, however, could tell a thousand times what a smile or a frown could - something he'd picked up on over the course of his millennia of life. He wondered which of the two she was more disposed towards. 'Quite lovely eyes.' He noted to himself. 'She might not be one of a kind here...'

"Unfortunately," He said, bouncing back to an appropriate distance, "the halls seem to be a bit...technical at the minute. I don't know exactly where you or," His brown eyes found the other girl, who seemed to be a bit vacant - hopefully she'd turn out to be a lively one with a bit of a push! 'The quiet ones are never any fun.' The Doctor thought with a pout - "this other student will be staying exactly." He paused, wondering exactly where to lead them. Lugging bags around couldn't be much fun either, though it didn't seem that she'd have much of a problem with it... "If you'd like, we can find somewhere to leave your bags - anywhere will do, there's no one else here! - and then you can tell me what you'd like to see first!"

Vivian seemed a bit baffled, partially by his personality and partially by the words he was speaking. He didn't know where she was to stay? Ruby eyes lowered once more to her bag and this time stayed there, studying it quietly. Leave it here? She supposed she didn't have too much of value. A few more long, skin covering dresses, a spare umbrella, trinkets from her home life... It filled up one bag, nothing more. Everything she owned. "I suppose I could... leave it somewhere, if you truly think no one will touch it," she said at last, eyes lifting to flick around the area. There were a few other items as well, things that she didn't want people to see. An extra cloth mask, a container of cold red liquid to reapply the mask with its scent, and small pills of the deepest red. She had a small bottle of them in a pocket that lay hidden in her dress, amongst the Victorian folds and ruffles.

With the issue of a bag slightly sorted out, her attention turned back on the other words he'd so excitedly released. The reminder of lunch and food brought a troubled look to her eyes, which started to shy downwards again, but instead locked upon this mans face, briefly studying once more. She herself appeared in her early twenties. He seemed a bit older than that. "...are you a student here?" she asked, her tone coming out with an underlying accusation. She'd never heard of a high school accepting people who should be long gone before. It was odd, the mix of faces both aged and young. It was how she might've guessed a college would seem. But, as if realizing the tone that'd escaped, she started, changing the subject with a bit of a rush. "I don't think I have a need for the cafeteria's location," she replied, and in her haste, realized that she hadn't meant to reveal such things. The school knew what she was when it'd accepted her, or so she thought, but she was still extremely wary of what the actual students or teachers, and whatever this man was, would think. Still, that clue wouldn't give away too much, would it? She was thin. Maybe she'd think she was anorexic. Ah.. not that she wanted him thinking that of her either. "I mean, if you would like to start there, that would be lovely."

Who knew someone like him would have so much baggage? Now, before you start assuming that he's being sensitive or deep, he has -actual- baggage, not the emotional kind.

His name is Chris, and he was recenly accepted to Tenshi High. He comes from Ohio...and Scotland if you go that far back in his geneology, but that's another story for another time.

Baggage is the focus right now. His arms were sore as -hell- during what seemed to him like the upteenth trip from the dorm to the car. Everything he owned, it seemed, was going into his quarters.

Still, he was exited. He didn't know much about the place, but he finds the new and mysterious parts of his life exiting...generally speaking the less he knows the higher the stakes seem.

-------------------------------------------

He placed one of his swords from his collection of blades on the wall and smiled. His bags were now in the dorm, and unpacking had begun. He pulled out the next one...his favorite, Angelus Ira. He names all his swords, no matter how dull. He loves each of them for one reason or another.

He finished decorating and trotted downstairs, out of the dorms and into the campus itself, zipping his hoodie up to about 2/3rds of the way up. The air seemed crisper to him here...more refreshing. He hoped the chicks were of the same vein.

Erika turned back to the conversation happening over her shoulder. She was looking at the walls and trying to see how much force they could with stand. Erika then turned in a flash to the others, "Oh..Sorry.." Erika gave a quiet little chuckled, "I was looking school..but you want to give a tour?" She then thought about what the girl had asked the man about him being a student or not. He did look a bit older, she let her eyes gaze over him and reading his expressions and his body. Her eyes then jumped to the girl who seemed a bit into the guy. Erika saw her mask and read it a bit. She could sense she wasnt something she had been near before. Erika then joined back to their conversation. "Oh..Can we stop by the cafe? I havnt eaten anything..well..in a while." Erika didnt want to let them know too much about her and would like to keep it that way til she learn more information on the two.((Sorry for taking so long to post))

Eventually he decided to head to a nearby cafe. He was hungry, hadn't eaten the whole trip up. Too lost in thought about what could happen.

He strolled to the cafe alone, but not lonely. He had a pair of headphones on, jamming to whatever came through the blood-red ipod. A bit dated, a bit scratched... a well loved machine.

He pushed open the door to see a small group of people sitting, chatting. He ordered food and sat down with them. They all stared at him for a moment...you generally ask before sitting with people you don't know.

But if you knew Chris...

He noticed the stares instanly, but waited a moment, acting nonchalant. He leaned down and took a bite from his burger, then cocked his head a few degrees to the side, bit of meat still hanging from the corner of his mouth.

He put his hand in front of his face as he spoke, looking each of them in the eye in turn.

"What? I'm new. And hungry. Thought i'd kill two birds with one stone. Although, I do rather hope I wasn't interuppting."

He smiled, hoped they were the sort who didn't get too upset over randomness.

((Cue cafe folks.))

"If you want," The Doctor cheerfully offered Vivian, while silently tucking away the tidbit about the cafe - he wondered what food supply she would need. "You could leave your bag in my ship until we can sort your room out! ...and same to you!" He turned to the other girl. Normally, he was quite hesitant to let strangers come aboard his ship, much less make it - he shuddered inwardly - domestic. Buuuut, the school seemed to be in a bit of a chaotic strip and middle management really wasn't pulling through at the minute. 'Besides, it couldn't hurt...' He thought to himself.

"No, I'm not a student here. More like a passer-by who didn't mean to pass-by - there's not much this school could teach me, anyway - bit of a genius, me!" He grinned, and suddenly pivoted on one foot, oblivious to the fact that his white Converse kicked up a small amount of dust. "Right, onward, upward! The cafe is closer than my ship, so we'll head there first!"

((OOC: Ahh, sorry sorry...it's short, but if I didn't post something, I'd go hide in the woodwork again and not post for six months - will try to be more prompt! Also...like Chris said, to the cafe! *strikes dramatic pose and runs off*)

((Okay, so the assumption is that you all beat me there, and I have now considerably freaked the lot of you out by randomly inviting myself to the table...

Just to be clear. I didn't mean to teleport anyone.))

Vivian's eyes darted toward the other female, the one with the purple streaks in her hair, and she observed her silently as she contributed to the conversation. So, it was decided they'd head to a cafeteria. Vivian had never been very fond of restaurants or food places of any kind. It was just a display of things she could no longer enjoy. Still, she would go along with the upbeat man and the purple girl out of curiosity more than anything else. If anything, the man was bound to be interesting.

"Ship?" The word slipped out before she could stop it. She'd thought it had been some sort of mistake, that he'd meant at first to say room. But when he'd said ship twice, she realized he had meant it, and her eyes widened just slightly, curiosity growing. She reached up, snow white fingers tugging at the cloth black mask, making sure her nose and mouth were covered, and pressing it even closer to her face, just a bit, before her hand dropped again. Her other was lifted, holding the heavy bag as if it were nothing, and keeping the umbrella propped against her shoulder despite the lack of clouds, much less rain. And here she was considering the other two to be odd... "A genius, huh?" she murmured, eying the male for a moment, before she gave a short nod of her head, side-stepping the cloud of dust as she began to follow after him. If he was a "genius" and the school couldn't teach him, why was he here? Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, boring into the back of his head as she followed rather close. Now she'd have to stay with him, if only to see what this ship of his was.
