Ovaan watched her expressions with interest. He withdrew his thumb from her lip. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I..um..I'm not...use to....a...man...being so...close." Kealal said the broken sentence with hesitant breaths as she blined a few times.

Ovaan suddenly grinned, revealing a mouthful of straight healthy teeth, the stretching of skin causing his eyes to crinkle a bit at the edges, his dark eyebrows rising in a confident, cocky manner. His wings relaxed and his antenna lay back down. The smile made him look, for a moment at least, extremely attractive. "Am I making you nervous?" he asked, smiling, doing nothing to back away.

"Just...a....little..." Kelala said slowly as she tried to back away from him slgithly.

He laughed gleefully at her nervousness. "It's nice to know that I still have some sort of appeal." He said wryly, backing off finally as he became distracted by something else, this something being a large pile of small pieces of wood, one of which he snatched up, and, sitting cross-legged on the bed, began to whittle.

Kelala let out a shake breath of relief as she relaxed. Almost uncrossing her arms untill she relized that was what was holding her dress up. Red blossomed on her cheeks as she huddled into a ball.

The woman's dress dropped just enough to make Ovaan's eyebrows rise in suprise. He cocked his head. "You wouldn't happen to be interested in...borrowing some of my clothing until yours are mended, do you?" He asked carefully, but with the air of someone who had not been involved at all in the destruction of her dress.

"That would be nice." Kelala said muffled as she was resting her head on her knees that were bent up at the moment. It was her attempt at hiding the crimson blush that didn't seem to be fading anytime soon.

Ovaan nodded, setting his whittling aside and sliding off of the bed to a small hand-made dresser. He rifled around in the drawers for a few moments before coming out with a tunic in a surprisingly rich green (most of his clothes were faded and oddly patched) and some black trousers. He looked at them thoughtfully for a moment, before saying, "These ought to do. They're still a little big for you, but you'll manage. They'll be a little loose..." he eyed her critically, "But you can wear your bodice underneath them, and you should be fine." His forehead creased a moment as he thought. "There's a spring nearby that I could take you to if you'd wish to bathe. I need to gather more ingredients and material if I'm going to be having a guest for a while."

Kelala looked up and smiled softly. "Yes that would be nice thankyou." Slowly she got up not letting her grip slacken on the dress. Her cheeks were still red which seemed to bring out her gold eyes more.

Ovaan decided that one more disaster ought to be enough to keep this fiesty girl in her place. He'd already found a weakness or two that he could definetly play on. Grabbing up a large ack, he stuffed the change of clothing within it along with a cloth to dry off with and a small bottle of home-made shampoo. He was quite talented when it came to using herbs. He approached the woman as though he were going to offer the bag to her. But when she reached for it, he attached it to his belt and grabbed her wrist with his other hand in one fluid motion. He pulled her toward the 'door' of the tree-cave and, with a twitch of his wrist, dragged her into his arms. Wrapping his arms around her waist and upper back to keep her steady, he threw himself backwards out of the 'door' so that the two were free-falling through the air.
Eventually, and with a practiced gracefullness, he managed to turn over mid-air and his wings caught the wind. He flew surprisingly smoothly.

Kelala gasped and opened her mouth to an empty scream as no sound came out. Tightly she clung to him and hid her face into his chest with her eyes closed tightly. Once again the mantra oh my god was repeated in her mind and she was cursing Ovaan in her mind for tricking her.

Ovaan landed lightly on the ground, shifting her weight until he held her like a baby, landing with grace and almost unwordly ease. He had been honest. They were near a spring of clear, clean water, well hidden by thick, lush trees and greenery like a natural curtain. He set her down on her feet and loosened the sack from his waist, offering it to her in the same manner he had offered it to her only a few minutes before, his face blank, as though not even he had decided whether or not he was going to trick her again or just let her have the sack.

Kelala wrapped her arms around his neck after the landed on the ground. This led to her dress slipping down as she forgot tthat she was holding it up to keep herself decent. But at the moment she foccased on holding onto him tightly as she still wasn't use to him carrying her around like this.

Ovaan couldn't help but notice, as he set her down, how low her dress was now. He looked up at her eyes as he held the sack out to her, as though asking her if she noticed how much skin she was showing him. Not that he really minded, but really, there were better ways...
