James didnt move his gaze at the suggestion of food, he had been trained for this. Back at training they had been starved for days at a time to get used to it. He would eat of course but it was always an option to starve to death. He looked at the girl propped up against him he looked away. He was in deep sh**
"Icastus!" Fleur exclaimed standing up to follow but she stopped her self, he could take care of himself and she had to let him deal with this himself. When he was ready for comfort she would be there for him.

Enfindel smiled weakly, feeling more at home now, sitting next to sleeping Vauhn and all. She sighed, looking as she was drawing on the floor with her finger.

Icastus sat against the barrier, hidden behind a chimney stack. He pulled his knees up against his chest and wrapped his arms around them. He put his face in his arms and began to cry. He didn't have anywhere to go now. And if Hampam was right, his own brother had just become his enemy. It was overwhelming.

De'Gelis ran back to Bat, as a human with a bottle of whiskey and jerky in hand. He handed them to Bat who knelt down in front of James.
"I can tell you how this is going to work, and you can cooperate, or we can play hard ball. Your choice. We both know that the Empire doesn't like it when they have hostage situations, so they won't hesitate to kill you, if they decide that you are gonna give me the information I want. So, you can tell me what I want to know, and we can give you protection in return, so that you don't end up dead, or the Empire can send one of their Dragon Claw and have you quietly killed so they don't have to worry about you talking. So are you gonna talk, or you gonna die? Your choice," Bat offered.

Enfindel listenned closely to Bat talking to James. She sneered, hoping James would choose to be turned loose and killed quietly, yet the typical answer or action would be most likely that James would talk. She sighed, shaking off the sickining thought she came up with. She dared not repeat that thought and rebuked it, not wanting that thought to come up again.

James glared
"Death doent frighten me." He said before giving a straight answer he wanted to see the troll react. Death did not scare him but he wanted to die for a reason.
Fleur thought a moment but her kind nature prevailed. she Went up to the roof
"Icastus?" She called quietly
Vauhn shifted as Enfidel sat next to him, he cuddled close too her.
Gwen stirred slightly but didnt not move again. Her hand still rested on Oberon's stomach and she was close to him.
Shan looked at James in slightly admiration. Bat would deal well with this guy, scared or not.

"Why do you want to die then?" De'Gelis asked. "You are a good fighter, why not put it to use against the tyranny that we all face?"
Bat nodded at De'Gelis. "Death may not frighten you, but that is what all of us will face if the Empire takes hold of the rest of the land."
Oberon placed his hand over Gwen's in his sleep. He liked how close she was.

"The empire does only good, and it protects all its people from tyranny and hardship. You are just thieves and could no nothing of the honor the empire has."

"Those of us who are hard workers and actually care about being a good citizen dont suffer, but you wouldnt know about that." James said his eyes narrowed

Gwenifer Fleur thought a moment but her kind nature prevailed. she Went up to the roof "Icastus?" She called quietly Icastus didn't hear Fleur's call, for his sobs drowned her out. He figured the whole world could hear him, but he couldn't stop. He was just too upset, distraught, sorrow-stricken, depressed and any other word you can think up that had to do with his situation.

Fleur heard sobbing coming from near the chimney.
"Icastus, hey im here." She said on locating him and sitting at his side. She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him to her.
"Its all right baby, its all right."

Icastus sobbed more and wrapped his arms around Fleur. He buried his face in her shoulder, tears wetting her shirt.

Fleur pulled him onto her lap and rocked him, she even started to cry too. She couldnt stand his sadness
"Shhhh shhhshh...im here icastus. Everything will be fine." She whispered rocking him gently holding him close.

James said his eyes narrowed "Try being a wolf demon orphan in this city. I would have died, despite how hard I tried to be an honorable citizen. If Bat hadn't found me I'd be dead," De whispered dangerously. Bat nodded in rememberance. "Apparently you aren't fully aware of all the happenings in this city," he said to James.
