Chloe watched him wander, suddenly getting caught by a mischevious streak. Sneaking around the side, she hid in the shadows of the rooftops, making her way over to Kaze.

It was a pathetic attempt at a scare, but with Kaze's currently stretched nerves, it was all that was needed. The Charmeleon skittered back, eyes wide as he let out a strangled squeak. Raising his arms to shield himself against whatever had come out to steal his soul away, his tail flared brightly, brighlty illuminating the top of Ghost Tower like a lighthouse.

Any other time would have Chloe laughing, but she only gaped this time, seeing that Kaze's glow was not only from his tail. The Charmeleon's form enlarged greatly, two wings sprouting from his back as his horn split to form two. When the glow died down, Kaze revealed his new form.

Kaze glanced down to himself, noticing his larger size immediately. He flapped his wings experimentally, creating large gusts that scattered the collection of dead leaves on the rooftop.

"Charrrr!!!" he roared, sending a few nightbirds madly flapping away from their roosts in the trees.

Kaze huffed, sending sparks flying from his jaws as he took off, a little clumsily at first, do to him never having wings before. As he rose from the rooftop, he started to get the hang of it.

"Nothing too complicated now, why don't we just glide down?" Chloe asked.

She pitched her tent, managing to get it upright. Turning to Kaze, she grinned, "Well, looks like this is goodnight. Kaze return!" Once the Charizard was back inside his pokeball, Chloe entered the tent, curling up in her sleeping bag before falling fast asleep.

Chloe woke, a deep mist settling into her tent from the night. "Hm, this place tries to me creepy even when you're not paying attention," she yawned, opening the flap of the tent to greet the new day, almost withdrawing back inside its safe folds when the sun struck her right in the eyes. She squinted, shaking her head.

"Next time I'm paying attention to which direction the tent's facing..."
