She is intrigued that Naruto had not cracked yet, though he looked like he might soon. Rikku entreated him with her eyes & her bottom lip quivered slightly. No way he could resist that!

But it still doesn't seem to phase him, only makes him lean over and kiss her pouting lips for a second before pulling back, a smirk on his lips as he still doesn't answer, as if her pouty look hadn't affected him at all.

Okay... Rikku liked the reaction of the kiss, though it was far too short for her preferences of the moment. However the shinobi's resistance to her efforts had her baffled. Is this something ninja's are trained in? But he's never done so before.
Of course, she had normally been physical, not imploring so much. Almost just to se his reaction she suggested in a soft, sweet, sad voice full of entreaty. "We could go dancing again."

Naruto blinks and smiles brightly. Dancing, with his girl sounded like a great idea to him! "Sure!! You pick the place!" he says, glad he had his allowance in one of his pants pockets and of course, the extra kunai stashed in his boxer shorts, but of course, no one had to know that!

Pleased that he seemed to give in at last, Rikku kissed him soundly. Then she stood, clasping his hands in hers on the way. "Whyn't we try the one we went to before? They had good music. If it doesn't sound good from outside we can look for another."
"But should we walk or ride?" Both sounded good to her, so Rikku let her thoughts wonder to which spheres she'd like to have in her grid. Psychic. LadyLuck of course. Songstess if she wanted to show off. Maybe DarkKnight to scare creeps away without having to hurt them should she & Naruto be seperated. Then again she wanted GunMage for riding, & WhiteMage if they were walking. She tossed out Songstess, deciding showing off was not on the program for this evening.

Naruto kisses her back and sighs happily. Yep, he would never get enough of her! He thinks when she asks if they could go back to the place they danced the first time, and that jogs up memories of their first kiss. He blushes light, but shakes his head to clear his thoughts, "Let's ride there, it will be quicker and I am sure we can find some place to park when we get there!"

"Sure!" Rikku lets his hands free so she can get into the machina's compartment for her spheres. "Just lemmie change out my grid."
She did so quickly, & shut the compartment once more. Then she leaned over & picked up her scarf where it had slipped from her hands earlier, tickling Naruto's nos with the tip befoe activating her GunMage Sphere. The Al Bhed giggled. "Now I match Yunie!"
Still giggling Rikku tapped her fingers on the hover-cycle's screen. A holster protruded from the side & she set her weapon snuggly in place. "Speaking of Yunie... we should all go dancing together sometime! You & me & Yunie & Tidus!!"
Flinging her arms around Naruto's she presses closely against him & kisses his chin. "Ready now!"

Naruto steps back to let her get ready, chuckling when she tickled his nose with her scarf. He nods his head, smiling, "Yea, that sounds like fun! When I go home, I will ask them if they want to!" he says. They could make it a double date....wait...date?! He needed to ask Rikku on a proper date, it was the only right thing to do now!

She giggled, & hopped onto the hover-cycle. "I bet Yunie'd love too... it's whether Tidus can dance or not that I'm worried about!" Patting the seat behind her for him to join her Rikku winked. "Unlike a certain ninja that I love, some guys just can't cut it on the dance floor!"

Naruto chuckles and hops onto the cycle behind her, happily wrapping his arms around her waist as he kisses her neck lightly, "Maybe, I guess we will have to wait and see! But I am sure he can dance if he really tried!" he whispers against her ear. Now that he noticed, he was glad to make her shiver a little bit.

And shiver was exactly what she did: both from the kiss & from Naruto's whispered words. Rikku closed her eyes for a moment, leaning back into his embrace to savor the feel until her shiver faded. Then she opened her eyes & twisted enough to kiss the shinobi on his nose. "Hold on."
When she was certain he was holding satisfactorily tight enough, Rikku revved the cycle towards town. What had seemed so far away when they had walked there came suddenly upon them with the speed of the hover-cycle. The Al Bhed was almost sorry not to have walked; except that she loved the feel of Naruto's arms around her & the wind in their hair. She slowed down in town a bit, trying to be more mindful of the traffic rules -if only to not be like those that had nearly hit Keme. She never spoke of it but the incident had left a mark on her.
Rikku eased their ride through light traffic to the dance club, paying little attention to the stares they received. She found a parking space that fit the cycle rather easily & shut it off without a thought of worry for its security. Why should she worry, when it was keyed to the touch of only herself & Naruto?
Twisting, Rikku grinned back at her newly realized love. "Ready to dance, 'Ruto? & no running this time, no matter what!"

Naruto held tightly to Rikku's waist as they rode to the city, enjoying her closeness and scent, as well as the wind in his ears and hair. But all too soon it was over and he wondered if maybe they should have walked instead. But he didn't want Rikku getting cold and it would have taken them twice as long to get their by foot.
He chuckles and kisses Rikku's nose, "Course I'm ready!! And don't worry, I promised I wouldn't leave you, didn't I?" he says softly.

Snuggling into him, Rikku somehow manages to slide from the cycle while still remaining in his embrace. She kisses Naruto lightly on the lips with a giddy & slightly dreamy smile. "Yes." Rikku agrees just as softly. "You did." She sighs happily against his mouth, her eyelids fluttering. "And I know how good your word is."
Then she pulled back, sliding her hands down his arms as she tugged them apart and holding his hands in hers as she gave him a cute sideways glance full of innocent mischief. "Sides, I'd hope kissing me doesn't scare you anymore."

Naruto hopped off the cycle and clutched Rikku's hand in his. He blushed hotly as she brought up that memory, "That was only one time! Besides, we kissed so much after that, and I didn't run away, did I?" he asks as they make their way to the entrance of the club.

She thrilled all the way to her toes to see her ninja blush & ruffled his blonde hair happily. "Not once!" Rikku piped with a wide grin. "Though sometimes when you pull away or hop over the hover-cycle you make me wonder, my homorable ninja!"
Oblivious to the club attendant's eye roll Rikku touched Naruto's nose lightly with her own. Only after did she blink at the man's head shake, recognising him from before. "Oh! Money! That's right!"
Laughing, Rikku flashed the man a bright smile as she reached into where ever her outfit permitted her to hold things on her person for entrance fees.
