Thats why only a single clan will use them... If you want to talk about ballooning Star Wars into something its not I suggest you talk to the people that designed the Vong and the Killiks. Anyway... Here's the design I've got for the Canderous-class. She's only 600 meters long but has enough firepower and armor to take on a Stalwarth. Unfortunately she doesn't have any hanger bay... confused

I see no problem with the Vong and the Killiks.
Surely somethings like those evolved. It's a big universe.

I have to partially agree with cale on this.
Just because you like to make ships doesn't mean we're going to have to add 20 for each faction that comes up. For each ship made, that means one more thing we have to remember and look up for each time we forget what it is. the more made, the more forgotten.
By all means, continue with your hobbies on ship designs, but pick ones which will be prominent, and leave out the ones which you believe may be mentioned in text once or twice.
What I'm trying to get at is our RPs aren't very "technical" like your dice rolling RPGs. Making a bunch of ships will lead to us just smudging the details all the more. Especially people new to the guild won't have a clue if we have a hundred new names, and it'll blow them away.
Plus, those of us which don't care much for detailed strategy 100% of the time will just backhand all the work you put in.

Indeed. When the time comes, why not just say Freya and her happy gang have the X-wing Mark 50 or somesuch, for the sake of simplicity?

Plus, legacy will reveal more to us each episode, and we can rip some stuff from there when the time comes.
though the X-wing will have been surely retired by now... hopefullly... I'm killing someone if it isn't...

I Forget what it's called though. See, this is why I like being vague about the tech I use. Everyone knows what a blaster or a speeder bike is. They dont need a name. they're just props.

Nope.
Looks like the Computer is advanced enough not to need a droid.

Hey, CW, why use that preybird model you seee in the guide as the new community fighter. Let the jedi have their fugly one, and have the sullustians reproduce their fighter covertly. After the plague, I'm just leaving the sullustians alone to move on for more important targets, so they'll probably be happy to start making a few squadrons to aid later on when you have some military prowess.

Cale Darksun You've seen the Imp Shuttle and the Mynock, Stellar. These guys have no taste. So, basically, Legacy's ship designers are smoking some g'd stuff? Or, would that be an improvement?
