Delylah strolled in, singing her favourite song, not in tune, mind you. She looked around for anyone to play with and sat down on the ground.

Eggie kicked one foot forward dramatically, then the next, then the next, taking long stride through the woods. What was he doing? No one knew...not even him. As his romping became for rythmin he grinned and began whistling along with a jolly tune in his head. Then suddenly, he stopped, dead in his tracks. He looked around him...and then looked around again...and then he realised it.
"Hey!" he shouted, "where are the birds?"
Yes, the forest was silent. It had never occured to him that they had begun fleeing the dying trees and the cold night by now. He just wished to see the birds and say good day to them as he always did.
"No birds? No birds to say good day to? Oh what ever shall I do?! Who shall I greet on this fine Autumn day?!"
He was a dramatic one, that Eggie. It was a shame that he never even realised he was making such a spectacle of himself right in front of a young femme baddie.

Delylah perked her ears and turned around.
"Um...hello? Are you alright?" she asked the brightly coloured male as she stood up and walked closer to him very slowly.
"Birds? What birds are you looking for?"

"What birds? Why aaaaaallllll the birds in the forest! They've gone away, and so who can I say good day to now?"
Eggie's ears perked up just then and he turned around, as if just realizing that there was another living creature speaking to him.
"Aha! You are my replacement birdie! I shall say good day to you!"
Rather gentlemanly, Eggie walked over and bowed to the femme.
"Good day, m'lady. My name is Eggie."

Delylah was surprised by this male's....eccentric behaviour. She watched him bow infront of her and all she could do was stare.
She snapped out of her daze and replied to him. "Oh...um...my name is Delylah. So, what did you say? I'm your...replacement bird?"
She stared at the male oddly and tilted her head to one side. "I've never been called a bird before. I don't know if I should be mad or not. I'm very confused."

"Well...there are no birdies here for me to say good day to, so you came along instead! How wonderful, Delylah! How wonderful to have someone to say good day to. Good Day!"
He smiled his bright goofy smile at her and straightened back up. He was rather tall, which either made him look slightly stoic or even sillier. He wasn't really sure.
"Tell me, Delylah, what are you doing out here all on your own?"

Lexander grabbed his bags and Iki's bags. He looked over at Iki with a brimming excitement in his eyes. "Ok then. Let's be on our way. We'll see our wonderful family here again. I bet between now and the holidays will go by with the quickness. And, think.. what a heritage we leave for our children." He smiled at her as he led her on the way out. He didn't know exactly where they were going; but he had looked at one of the books in the library about the temples of the gods. He had a pretty good idea; he thought he'd leave the rest to their intuition.

She linked her arm loosely with his, so as not to make it too difficult to carry the bags, and allowed him to lead the way.((Should we move this to the temple then, Grace? And did you get your egg yet?))

"Yea, good morning...Eggie" she said as she watched him stand up fully straight. She noticed how he towered over her.
"What am I doing here? Well, I like to take walks by myself sometimes. I get annoyed very easily so I take the walks to calm myself down a bit."
She watched him smile largely at her as she spoke.
"I'm guessing you're here for the birds? Well, I guess you don't need them anymore since you found me huh?"

"Ding ding ding!" As he shouted this, confetti began falling from the sky down onto them, the way it would if she had just won the jack pot on some sort of game show, "That is correct! Very good miss Delylah!"
He looked up at the confetti and caught some on his tongue...and then promptly spit it on.
"Yuck! Don't eat that colorful snow!"

Delylah looked up at the sky as the confetti rained down on them.
"How in the hell did you do that? Where is it all coming from?" she said as she raised up her hands to catch some of it.
"This is amazing"

"Hmmm..."
Eggie looked up at the sky.
"Looks like it's coming from up there."
Eggie had never really understood why or how he could make these little illusions appear. None of them were ever powerful or useful. Just little things, like making confetti fall from the sky or making a bouquet of flowers manifest for a pretty girl.
"Eggie just wills it to be there and it is!"
The confetti stopped then, and it was as if it had never happened. There was none on the ground, none stuck in their fur, and Delylah's hand was now cupped with nothing in it to show.

(yep. and omg.! it looks so cute! i can't wait to see how he looks when he hatches. x3 lol... and i saw yours too. their children will be so prettifuls. I already posted at the temple of music, and i sent a pm to animechickie since she owns the god there.)

She pointed up at the sky as the confetti started to disappear around her.
"Awww it's going away. That was really cool though. What else can you do? I'd love to see." she said with a baddie smile.
