Tinnumir What school are you going to? Cause I'm going to school in the cities in the fall! (I was supposed to go this year, but the bloody effing loans didn't come thru for me) I know this is weird, but I've actually had stalkers, so I try not to give out personal info if I don't know you that well. Saying I was in the cities was a stretch for me. (I know! I know, I'm paranoid razz ) BUT the more I get to know you, the more I'm willing to share. By Christmas...who knows, we could be prepping for auditions together. *grins* It doesn't sound like you're as shy about such things, though. Are you headed to U of M? Feel free to pm me at your leisure *smiles*

(but I do know a couple people who go there) I'm going to Hamline. Tis a lovely campus. I'm excited to move to the city. Definatly getting tired of smallish town life.

I'm Laura and I'm a stage junkie. I live out in the middle of nowhere but I go to the high school with the best drama department in the state. After graduation I'll be double majoring in psychology and drama. I act, sing, and psychoanalize with passion!

Here's my limited theatrical experience redface
Musicals and LIGHT operettas from 1986-1996:
"You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" - played a Cheerleader (1986) "Music Man" - played Marianne (1987) "The King and I" - played a Concubine *GASP* (1994) "The Student Prince" - played Gretchen (1995) "H.M.S. Pinafore" - played Cousin ********* (1996)
Operas from 1996-1996 blaugh :
"Hansel und Gretel" - played The Mother
I started out at 12 years old doing mostly school performances. At 17, I won major state awards (Both Superior AND Command Performance) for best high-school female soloist in the allstate competition in Nevada. Once I graduated high school I decided to pursue music AND theater as a career.
From 1994-1996 I worked for The Nevada Opera Theater in Las Vegas as a featured artist. Frequently the director would have me attend special performances at Soirees, Gala events, Auction fund-raisers, and small public performances as a featured soloist.
Unfortunately, in 1997, I made a major move to the state of Alaska, and chose to set my career as an actress/singer aside to pursue being a fulltime mother. My long-term goal is to pursue my career again when my youngest turns 18 (Which is a good 11 years from now), but until then, I am going to start actively participating in the community's theater group and at least TRY to maintain some of the talent I "used" to have lol redface
About me:
Name: Rebecca Age: 29 Marital Status: Married (going on 9 years) Location: Willow, Alaska Kids: Four of them, 2 girls/2 boys (3-7 years old) Pets: 1 dog, 1 cat OLD Career: Actress/singer PRESENT Career: 24/7 Mom, freelance writer, amateur recording artist Education: High school graduate '94 and SOME college
heart Glad to be here guys/ladies! heart
