Byakko had tucked in the blankets around her and for a long time, his blue eyes watched over her sleeping form. To him, she was beautiful. Byakko then slowly laid down himselfon his back as sleep started to give way to his senses. As he fell asleep, he could swear he felt so much happier with the knowledge that Raelen was beside him.

(Okay dear. ~Snuggs~ Sleep well and sweet dreams! heart )
The songs of birds woke Raelen from her slumber, and she slowly sat up, rubbing her emerald eyes tired. Looking towards the window, she stretched her arms above her head and smiled. She had such a wonderful dream. As she thought about it, she reached up and lightly touched her hair, fingers gently catching against the feather, causing her to blink. It...wasn't a dream? Turning her head, she blushed softly and smiled tenderly at the sight of Byakko sleeping. Trying not to wake him, she slowly lifted the covers and stood, walking to the window.

Byakko was more then a stead-fast sleeper as he was more of a nighttime anthro. He was now laying on his side, and would have been facing her had she not moved. To keep his cloth in proper place over himself, he had the end tucked between his knees still keeping him descent. He looked at ease and content in his dreams. The movement of the covers, which he had slept ontop of the entire night to be polite, had slowly pulled him from deep slumber. Slowly his eyes openned with a groggy appearance. Yawning, his gloved hand covered over his mouth before he looked up at Raelen and smiled. "Good morning." His voice was hoarse with sleep still lingering.

Raelen turned her head, ears flicking, and looked at him. Smiling, she walked to the edge of the bed and lightly fixed the covers. "Good morning," she whispered quietly. "I'm sorry to have waken you. If you're still tired, you can go back to sleep," she added in the same soft whisper, leaning over to gently brush her lips to his forehead. He had been such a gentleman the night before, and throughout the entire time she had slept. She honestly couldn't be any luckier.

Byakko smiled at her kiss and yawned once more, his hand then reaching up to rub his eye in a tired fashion. "You did not wake me. I woke up naturally." True and not at the same time. "I can't go back to sleep yet. I want to make you some breakfast as a way to thank you for the meal last night."

"Oh? And here I was planning on spoiling you with breakfast," the feline giggled out lightly before nodding. "Alright. You can make breakfast, and I'll go get cleaned up," she said lightly while stretching. Walking over to her dresser, she opened the drawers and pulled out clothes and under garments before making her way towards the bathroom.

Byakko smiled but turned his head away when she had gone through the drawers and pulled things out. He wanted to respect her privacy. When she left the room, he rose off the bed and headed into the kitchen, preparing. He would cook the only thing he knew: Scrambled eggs, toast and bacon. He would set all this out when it finished cooking.

Raelen had been careful enough in removing the beautiful feather from her hair, gently setting it down ontop of the clothes she had chosen to wear. Taking her time in showering, despite the fact that she was a feline. When out of the shower, she wrapped a towel around herself and used her Mocha body lotion, then got herself dressed. She wore a simple button-down white shirt, and short jean shorts. The feline couldn't stand wearing pants, or anything too confining. Drying off her ears, tail, and hair, she left her hair down and carefully weaved the feather back into her red locks. Once finished, she exited the bathroom and happily started a load of laundry.

The smells of bacon and scrambled eggs were in the air. However, Byakko glared at the toast. It had burned. Sighing, he set it aside, and started once again to try and make the toast. It still burned. Giving up on that idea, he turned and smiled. French toast was now being cooked in a skillet as he had finished the eggs and bacon for the two of them. This time, the french toast came out great, and he set it down on a plate. After searching out her plates, he began to set the table for the two of them for breakfast.

Though the auroma of the breakfast smelt delicious, enough to be mouth-watering, she had taken her time with putting a load of laundry into the washer, dryer, and putting the dry clothes into a basket. Smiling, she put a hand on her hip and nodded, satisfied, before she slowly walked out and towards the kitchen, her tail swishing behind her.

By the time she had come in, the food was on the table, everything was set, and he had even run outside and found a flower to hand to her. "Good Morning again Raelen." He smiled. "I wasn't sure what you wanted to drink. What may I get for you?"

Raelen immediately purred and gently took the flower, sticking it in the same vase that had the bouquet that he had brought her the night before. "Well good morning to you, my prince," she purred out with an affectionate smile. "Milk would be wonderful," she said lightly while looking towards the food, licking her lips. "It looks delicious!"

Byakko nervously laughed. "Well I had a little trouble and wanted to go with regular toast. But I burnt so many so I just went with some french toast. I hope you don't mind." He took her glass and hurried to grab the milk from the frig, pouring it out for her. In his glass, he already had found some orange juice and had it poured. He put the milk away and came back over with the glass in hand, setting it down beside her plate. He then pulled out her chair, and smiled.
