I use coupons I get from the bookstore, because otherwise I'ld lose them and the page in my book. But sometimes, when I don't have any coupons, I use the old Pikmin bookmarks I got in 6th grade.

I'll use just about anything for a bookmark, but more often than not its part of a torn up piece of notebook paper from the notebook I always carry around. I also have the tendency to just memorize the the page number. "283", click. A few hours later. "283", open book. I never seem to have any problems with forgetting the numbers, unless its a few days afterwards.

I usually just use a bit of paper or a receipt or whatever I have on hand. If I don't have anything then I'll just remember the page number. No dog-earring here. gonk
I do have a very nice Harry Potter bookmark that I really like, but I hardly ever have it with me to use.

I have used tissues, pieces of torn paper, and price tags of just purchased clothing. If I'm using the public libary they give you a reciept and I often will use that.
I will often leave the book open upside down if I don't think I'll be gone long. (I know it breaks the spine.) Or I remember pages.

Bookmarks eh....Well I used to have a collection of them, but it's been strangely misplaced somewhere...hmm...Well, currently, I use random pieces of paper, money, my library card, and other random things I find around the house. Whatever is handy, I suppose.

I usually start out with whatever's on hand, but once I have something I use that random scrape compulsively intill I lose it, which starts the process all over gonk

I usally just use a scrap piece of paper. With my HArry Potter books each one has a "speical" bookmark, the one thats in there, stays there!
My graduation gift from my best friend was $10 and a bookmark...that I won't even uses because its a magnitic one and its bulky so it would hurt the book. sad That was a crappy gift from her, and she got another freaken car! scream stressed Makes wounder what her sister is going to get next year when she graduates.

whenever i go to borders i grab a stack of those free bookmarks. even if im buyinh only a couple of books. i always seem to misplace them so i use whatever's handy. i use to fold the edges a while back but even thinking about that i cringe. whenever my books get wrinkles and the like i stack books on it just for a week to try to smooth it out. I'm really picky about my book collection

I use a bookmark that I like. I once had a paper bookmark with bits of blood. My blood. I cut myself or somethign don't remember. Anyway If I don't have a bookmark I use paper. But for the books for school I just bend the page. I sometimes also buy bookmarks if I like the design.

I use every thing and anything. really what ever is closer to me. normaly some sort of paper somthing but paper clips work well............

I use actual bookmarks. I collect them and refuse to buy a book without buying a bookmark as well.
