Rivera smiled as she felt the warm weight of his body over her own, and she wrapped her arms around his neck in their kiss, gently sliding her tongue between his lips, not bothering to come back up for a breath. She was in heaven now, and who needs to breath in heaven? Finally, she opened her eyes to look at him. "Everything might end tomorrow..." Her whispers were almost sad. This happened to them so often, to have to see tomorrow as their last breaths, and then breath relief as they were spared once again by a miracle. "If I die, I swear I'll reincarnate and find you. Just don't give up on me..."

Rivera was on the brink of sleep, her chest pressed tightly against Kira's, her arms around his neck. Their faces were close from the kiss shared just moments before. She let her lips touch onto his collarbone, letting her long, obsidian-black hair pour over her face. That had felt like pure ecstacy... Her body was still partially underneath his, but that was a minute matter. She was tired, and sleep was calling.

Rivera slept well... at least, for the few hours that she was able to sleep. The moment her eyes opened, she was restless. The clock had said 4:33... much too early to get out of bed... yet she did, carefully removing herself from Kira's wings after she kissed him on the forehead. She was still unclothed, but that didn't seem to bother her. She just walked around the dorm without care for exposure. No one else was there, and the windows were all drawn. It didn't matter much. Getting a drink of water from the bathroom faucet, she dashed water onto her face. The lights were on dim, and her reflection in the mirror looked like nothing she's seen before. She looked like hell. It was as if she hadn't rested in days, the way she looked. Why? She felt just fine. What was happening? Maybe a bath would refresh her. She stepped into the shower and turned it on, letting warm water drench her body.

Rivera dried her hair with an air spell and came from the bathroom in a pink bathrobe. Pink was her least common color. The fact that she had a pink bathrobe was ironic against her nature. "Good morning." She said as she passed Kira, heading to her closet and closing the door behind her. She was nervous, but she didn't want to show it. She didn't know how she was going to fight at all. The Zodiac Twelve were the elite of elites... they were beyond her league. She could feel herself tensing, and forced her muscles to relax. Tense muscles meant reduced flexibility. She'll need everything she could to fight.

Picking out a plain, black sleeveless shirt, she matched it with long black gloves fixed with wrist guards and protection underneath and no fingers to allow her hands full movement. A pair of black pants came to match it, flexible material that clung to her thighs and only loosened at the knees. To avoid so much exposure of her curvelines, she pulled on a black tennis miniskirt over the pants. Her normal black boots went onto her feet, basically with no heel inclination and 2-inch soles that provided enough padding for perfect stealth. Taking a ribbon, she tied her hair up so it was a tight ponytail. Rivera took a deep breath before she emerged... dressed to kill.

The tension in the room was so strong that everything, furniture included, seemed to give a sigh of relief as a grumble from her stomach snapped everything. "I'm hungry..." She gave a little smile before she opened the fridge. She wasn't going to drink any blood... it'll fuel her craving for it later when she needs all of her powers in check. Instead, she ate light... taking a chocolate chip cookie from the jar and a cup of milk. That would be all she needed.

Rivera reached down and picked up her PDA cell phone. Flipping it over, she checked the text. "Osprey sent me a memo." She opened a text message file and read it. "Looks like it'll be in some old, deserted factory several miles off of campus. He's did a bit of surveying on it too. It's got lots of close packed buildings, warehouses and construction towers. Half of it is stone, and the other half metal. Water runs through underground piping, but is stagnant, and is probably no better than sewage. There is a mass power generator on the west, towards the center. The buildings have many windows and the interior is quite empty..." She sighed. "This will be a tough fight... my opponent will be Virgo. He..." Rivera stopped and set down her phone, lost in her thoughts again.

Rivera blinked as she was shaken. "Virgo? What about him? Was I saying something?" She didn't even realize that she had been thinking out loud. That was no matter for now. She needed to have everything readied. Looking at the clock again... it said 6:32... well... "Let's head on over to the racing club. Shinko's supposed to be supplying the transportation, but we're all going to be meeting there before we head on over. It'll be a 15 minute drive from here to there. No doubt they'll have their entire alliance stationed there..." And she was only leading a handful... Just her, Kestrel, Ravenhawk, Osprey, Phoenix and Kira... Oh, right. Kira wouldn't know Phoenix yet. Out of them all, Phoenix was the quietest. He wouldn't even answer questions ifhe didn't feel like talking. Fighting was his language. "Let's head out." Grabbing her long coat and her prechecked arsenal, she opened the door and waited until Kira was out before locking the dorm. Her will was on the table. This might be the last time she'll ever be able to turn the lock. For the convenience of anyone who needed to access the place in the case that she will have died, she placed the key under the rug and turned to leave.

"I feel like O today..." She sighed softly, her eyes hard. "... Ten days, Kira. They're not allowed to kill a person until at least ten days after trial." She reached behind her ear and plucked out a tiny looking bit of vine connected to a section of her hair. The vine burst into flowers and twined over her fingers in decorative white buds. Her eyes seemed to speak to the plant, and it extended a little strand of vine, turning it into a thorned branch. Rivera pricked her finger on the thorn and lifted her hand out to Kira so he can take the plant. "Take Misty. If I am in severe danger, She will tell you everything you need to know on my location." Misty was a plant that Tomoro gave her back in highschool, during their first sleep over. Now it will come handy in lots of tight situations. "Let her get acquainted to you. I won't have to leave for another week or so, so relax. We're not that tightly scheduled." She tried to smile a little for him. "Are there any brownies in there?"
