Has any one ever noticed that the guy named shinra in ffx-2 was talking about using the spirits of the farplane to create massive amounts of power or whatever and then in ff7 the name of the corporation is called Shinra? If you look closley at the similaritys then it seems like ffX and X-2 are the past of ff7!

have you noticed how FFIX is similar to earlier FFs (for example FFI - V )

Yes it quite reminded me of ff1 combined with DBZ. But look ffX Spheres=Materia,
Spirits of farplane =Life stream, Shinra=Shinra corp, Garment grid=Materia slots, ffx map=first continent ff7, journey to the promised land=pilgrimage against sin,

could it be. almost as i thought. well it could be that like i think that the planet changes over the centuries and in each FF the world has advanced many many years. or in some ways gone back.

Not to mention some of the lines also link it to 7 and 8 "Not even a SQUALL or CLOUD could defeat me" (thats roughly what is said) but Squall and Cloud were in capital letters suggesting that it was refering to the names

Theres only one though I would think it more likely for ff1 crystal and ff5 crystals to be related.
