Bou closed his eyes and snorted. He made a gesture signaling his understanding... it was time for work, and play.
With the ease and speed born of experience, Bou rectified the little problem of breathing. Extruding a mass of silk threads around his cranium in a slightly expanded form, he interlaced the nigh-invisible spidersilk with the sticky juices that keep it moist. In this way did Bou trap a great deal of atmosphere around his head, creating a bubble of sorts.
Bou held up one hand and made a mental summons using a pulse of chakra. With that pulse, his will was made clear to every arachnid within 100 metres. Instantly, every spider and spiderkin dropped what it was doing or eating and began to march, fanning out over the wide area and assaulting anything suspicious... not likely to be fatal, but enough to flush any hiding enemies out into the open as they'd be swarmed with biting, poisonous spiders out of nowhere.

*the spiders would take some time before they revealed anything, so for the time being, the nin had other plans to in store...*
*from what seemed like right behind Bou and Nozomi came Goukakyuu no Jutsus...of course, they would see no one there if they happened to turned their heads...the flames would not only burn them, it would use up the remaining oxygen in their immediate area...*
*as for Bou, the nigh-invisible thin-ness of the silk bubble would do little to protect against the incoming flaming inferno from behind...and being that he used that bubble to keep the pressure around his head higher than his surroundings, and the fact that the air around him was already sparse, something similar to a little explosion would occur around his head area as the fire finds more oxygen to use, in a very concentrated area nonetheless...*

Goukakyuu? That's a downer. Still, Nozomi isn't going to let a little lack of air get her down. She's a kinky girl, this isn't her first time being asphyxiated. Still, that's supposed to be FUN. Oh well. She has no idea if this whole breath killing thing is just a field, or a barrier, so she'll go the obvious route. That's move, son. If they're casting things into the area, it can't be a barrier, that would defy logic. They'd have to drop it. Leaping to one side, feeling the heat against her back somewhat before a connection can occur considering the volume of flame and head such a technique produces, and conserving what air she can, she calls up the ashes that are the signature of her family that she carries with her everywhere.
The ashes melt and merge, as she uses the [Haiiro no Oni] jutsu, creating a massive demonic Ogre of ash, ahead of her after the passing of the flame. There isn't long left, and she doesn't have time to sit and focus on a Genjutsu. She waves her arm, directing it to charge straight ahead of her. She'll find out if this is a barrier or not; and if it's not, and she's still awake by then, she'll get out of the area and fast. The Ogre, for his part, will obviously bash anything that gets in his way, living or otherwise.

Bou was nobody's fool. He'd killed Leaf-nin for years, and was part of the recent war against Konoha just a short time ago... fire attacks were nothing new, and nothing special. He quirked a dark eyebrow and raised his upper left arm, palm outwards - the moment the large fireball touched his hand, he closed his fingers in a snap, detonating it away from his body harmlessly.
"Is that your best? The old man is in more danger from high cholestorol than from you clowns! Come get a lickin', suckers." Bou flashed his startingly white teeth as he invited the enemy ninja in... spiders still flowing across the area.

*kunais seemed to appear out of nowhere as they flew at Bou, a 2 aimed for his air bubble/head, 2 for vital areas, and about 4 around him to try and catch him if he would dodge the ones aimed directly at him...the kunais would seem to blur into view...where the kunais first appeared seemed to blur as well as though allowing entry towards Bou*
*as for Nozomi, she and her ogre were able to exit a field, only to run into what seemed like an intense heat, as if she suddenly found herself in a desert at noon...the air around her would be of normal density and pressure, signified by the sudden change of air pressure on her skin and ear drums, which would mean she would be able to take a full breath...but as she and her ogre stumbled out of the anti-air field, they would immediately trigger traps set around the field...smoke bombs would activate all over the field, which wasn't too large to begin with...this smoke would have a property that would render the victim asleep if inhaled in a large enough amount...and if she were to gasp for air like any normal human who just came out of what seemed like an air lock, she would've inhaled more than enough...and just to insure that she was engulfed by this smoke, the field she just came out of disappeared, leaving her with no place to retreat into*

Oh, inhale she does..but the moment that smoke starts to go into her system, she drops the illusion around herself with simple will, showing her true, demonic looking self. She can't bother with stupid disguises right this second. When the mixture enters her breathing passages, she opens up the holes in her skull and directs the smoke going up her passges out the horns on her head through the openings in her horns. The holes then close, fixing the passages as normal and she holds her breath, what she does have. Still, if nothing else she's just a hair dizzy, but that won't stop her. No, you can't stop the rock. If the field she was in before disappeared, it doesn't mean it's gone. It could be a lie. She leaps back several times out of the gassy area, and makes a seal with her fingers, breahing in, then calling out one word..
"Kai!"
And being a Genjutsu specialist, she has a feeling if they've made an illusion, she should be able to disperse it..

Bou sighed in his bubble. "Come on, we're dealing with amateurs here! Are these what count for assassins these days?" Bou slapped aside the kunai without touching them, releasing chakra from his hands as they got near to turn them away before getting close enough to cause any harm, even if detonated.
He brought up one hand and formed the Bird seal. Bou disappeared with a sound like clapping thunder, a sonic boom rolling across the field. =Itai Oto Shunshin no jutsu=
Bou had teleported far above, and was currently gliding down in lazy spirals by webbing between his six arms, looking for the idiots foolish enough to attack Kumo Bou and his adoptive little sister succubus. To facilitate this, Bou's white eyes pulse once as their pupils become prominent. "Byakuugan!"

Vs. Bou:
*As Bou's Byakugan activates, he would notice a vast amount of chakra in his immediate vicinity, basically surrounding him. Within less than a second, the pressure around his body drastically increased, crushing his bubble in, effectively relieving him of available oxygen, squishing his webs against his body, forcing his arms against his side, and held him immobile. There was nothing touching him, a feeling reminiscent of the monks' shield from earlier, but this time, the barrier engulfed him. It formed some kind of layer against his skin. Any chakra released from Bou's body would basically be forcefully shoved back into his body before it could form anything, being that all the chakra around him had now condensed itself into that very thick layer directly on his skin. And as he fell, a sole nin was waiting below for him...*
Vs. Nozumi:
*By coming out of the smoke, Nozumi had fallen into the nins' trap. The heat she felt was real. The field was real. The smoke was real. All her genjutsu release did was use up her breath and further slow her reaction time since she'd have to go from one task to another.* As she exited the smoke, she would immediately be attacked by the nin stationed outside of it. Her dizziness would also affect her reaction speed. Two nin, with kodachis ready, would attack her. One came in from her right, and slashed her from the front, aiming at the throat. The other came from her left, and slashed her from her backside, aiming to injure the spine. Both of these slashes came simultaneously and both were aimed at different parts of the body. It would be impossible to dodge both. *

She's not so dizzy as to be caught unawares entirely. As quick as she possibly can, she drops her head forward, and snaps up her tail, the barbs on it extending. The curved forward horns on her head catch the incoming blade, and she snarls as her poor horn cracks..then shatters, and leaves her with half a horn, as well as a cut open face. Her slitted eyes narrow and she snakes her long tail around the other incoming sword, and while this will cause her tail to get cut, she diverts it by shoving forward, away from her vital area, instead taking a chop instead of a slash, into her side. But she's not done yet. no, and the tail shifts rapidly, like its own living thing, during the process of the sword cutting into her. She stabs the barbs on her tail right into the hands of the nin holding the sword, and injects a 'fear' Pheromone right into his blood stream.
In his eyes, she'll be the most hideous, nightmarish, frightening thing he's ever seen, and the first impulse will be to flee, since she lets go of him after that. If an enemy is incredibly scared, if you hold on to it, it will feel cornered and have to fight. Normally she'd have been able to ******** up the nin that cut her face simultaneously but she's still shaking out the cobwebs (sorry Bou. xD). Her ogre is approaching out of the smoke now, quickly closing the distance by moving its powerful legs, and she's preparing a Shunshin. She'll be gone in the next eyeblink..

Only Bou isn't so weak or so inexperienced as to not have been attacked this way before. "If that's the way you want it..." With a flurry of motions so fast as to not even register as a blur, Bou struck every Tenketsu on his body with a partial counter-clockwise twist... now, people realize and understand that Jyuuken can either uncontrollably speed up or stop chakra flow through its pores... but Bou decided to go a bit further, and invert his own chakra portals before pouring on the heat.
Absorbing all of the chakra around him in its purest form (bereft of chakra tags for enemy control or poisoning), Bou reversed his tenketsu-trick and aimed his upper-two arms downwards. "SAY GOODNIGHT!" The massive amount of extra chakra, combined with the increased amount his own body produces beyond that of normal humans, reacted at once. Two small metallic clicks were heard from each arm, as shutters opened and harmonic gauntlets slid bafflers away to triple the power of each Air Cannon. His bottom two arms performed the necessary hand seals, so that there was absolutely no downtime. "DAIZANKUUKYOKUHA!"
The sky erupted, clouds were banished away even so far above the flying spider-man, clearing it of all cover in an instant... whatever was coming, it was invisible, and massive... birds exploded in the air, and the grass laid flat against the earth as two Great Ultimate Air Cutters incredibly empowered slammed into the ground where the ninja waited... each well over 60 meters wide and each capable of clearing out a small hill at base... and each was four times stronger than what base proscribed.
Bou's middle set of arms began spinning threads over the battlefield, invisible and so slight as not to be felt, sticky to boot.

Vs. Nozumi:
*The infected nin backed up against a tree when he got the chance, but aside from the 2 nin that slashed at Nozumi, the safety measure was still there. A third nin stood about 3 meters directly behind her. He had released large amounts of chakra and as Nozumi cleared the 2 slashing nin, that chakra compressed the air around Nozumi to capture her in a barrier similar to the one that was affecting Bou. Air again made scarce, nearly non-existant. Limbs forced against her body.*
Vs. Bou:
*Congratulations to Bou. He caught the nin off guard and he was obliterated by the attack. Another nin using a hiding technique was also obliterated. However. Bou's urge to kill had blinded him from a crucial fact. His enemy were within mere meters of the people he was supposed to protect. And with blasts that were each well over 60 meters wide, and capable of clearing out a small hill at base, combined with unconscious monks, he had just destroyed all life within that area. Not to mention he may have caught all the remaining nin and Nozumi within his blast as well, being that they have not gone very far from the original positions. Being bound until after the attack blows up everything in sight, he couldn't have prevented any of it. His light webs would also be affected by air resistance on its way down from Bou's high position, meaning his attack would strike before any of his webs would become effective. Mission Failed.*

arrow Rice Country - JOUNIN! TONIGHT, WE DINE IN SOUND! (also, since Shun is hungry: Orochimendez uses Taco no Jutsu!)
The moment the barrier even began to condense, obviously it would give her slight warning. Air just doesn't 'snap', especially when condensing around someone. And condensation of chakra that massive isn't something you don't notice, especially when air pressure and soundwaves are a speciality of your entire village..on top of being a Genjutsu specialist, who knows more about Chakra condensation than most types of Nin. As her breath starts to shorten just a little, she's on it, and she swirls and vanishes in a scream of soundwaves that explodes within about a fifteen foot radius around her. The sound is deafening and loud, like a shriek, the Sound Shunshin. If she's lucky, the monks may wake up from the scream depending on whether Bou has nuked everything or not. That man, she swears. It's also high enough to cause mild hearing discomfort to anyone within the radius.
Where she shunshins do is about thirty yards to her left, into the trees. Assuming that's where the one Nin came from, she knows there shouldn't be anything waiting for her there. Her ogre, meanwhile, goes charging in the direction of where that chakra buildup was by her mental order, and does a Hulk Smash! dive at whatever's hiding..even if he doesn't hit it, maybe it'll be drawn out into the open.

Bou was an experienced master of his Arm Cannons and the jutsu he used through them... he was no fool, and was quite used to using his powerful techniques even amongst allies. Converging his arms, Bou crossed the streams (Sorry, Egon) and cut power to his dual Daizankuukyokuha. With a single Tori seal, Bou disappeared, replacing himself with a stone on the ground below just as the attacks struck. =Kawarimi no jutsu=
Four hands lifted as his Arm Cannons opened once again, and Bou threw himself into a quick jutsu, requiring no seals. "Kuuatsu Bunshin no jutsu!" =Air Pressure Clone=
The air pressure and chakra that normally would have exploded over a large radius was instead sucked up into two Bou-clones... who stood up from a kneeling position with grins on their faces.
By now, his spiders would have definitely flushed out any hiding ninja, cloaked or in the forests, and Bou stayed in constant communication with them as his gossamer threads spread over the area.
And looking at what he'd just done, it would seem relevant to any enemy that engaging Bou in melee would be preferable than to be on the receiving end of his arm cannons.

*a nin was dismayed that his location was on the verge of being revealed by little arachnids and that he failed to either capture or kill the kid...that guy called for a lot more than the usual tactics...stupid mentally disturbed clans and their implants that create freaks of a scientific-nature...*
*that nin gave a quick whistle, and threw some smoke bombs into the area around the caravan...and on the retreat, the nearby nin to that smoke set it alight, causing an explosion around the caravan...it was down to either saving the kid, or finishing off the nin...*
*with a quick jutsu, they made themselves invisible again and attempted to retreat...and as they hid themselves again, several explosions occurred in the area, providing exit points where any spiders would be blown away, and the heat would deter them from getting near...*

arrow Rice Country - We Sound-nin are descended from Orochimaru himself. Taught never to retreat. Never to surrender.
Nozomi closes her eyes, feeling out the presences of the enemy..before they slowly disappear. Her illusions normally take a lot of buildup..but this time, it's irrelevant. The Ogre explodes into a cloud of ash, and slowly it makes its way around to Nozomi, who stands up and makes prepatory hand signals, just in case. These guys are a little tricky, but they bleed like anyone else. The pheromone of fear in the one should slowly be wearing down..but that too is irrelevant.
She frowns..her damn HORN is broken. That pisses her off to no end. Gesturing, she causes the ash cloud floating around her to expand, grow, and dust the area that's burning; much like putting dirt on a fire, it will extinguish it, and being that Ash is heavier than dirt even when dispersed, and with her intricate control, she can douse this problem easily enough, leaving Bou to deal with the retreat. As the ash cloud was coming down, simultaneously, from it, Nozomi forms two small Ash Goblins. These goblins would grab the kid and the old monk from the Caravan and leapfrog them over to her. As far as she's concerned, the other monks can burn.
