The phoenix's wings fluttered, heating the warm air around him even more. His red eyes glanced around uneasily. Fuorre was tired and hungry and thirsty. He sighed, precipitation crawling down his flesh. He enjoyed summer, but the heat was sometimes too extreme for him. What kind of phoenix was he...? He wiped the sweat off his forehead and continued through the maze of trees; until iof course, he saw Kacela sitting against one. "Uh... H-hello!" he exclaimed, rushing forwards, eager for her company.

~~

The angel giggled, flapping her pink wings gently as she hovered half a foot off the ground. "Fishy? Will I do? Just kidding!" she exclaimed, landing next to the feline. She sat down immdiately, wrapping her arms around her legs.

Kacela blinked and looked up at the phoenix. She smiled slightly. "Well if it isn't the bird who thinks I'm pretty. Wasn't expecting you here." She stood up to greet him properly. She raised an eyebrow as she noticed the heat hadn't been treating him nicely, but remained silent about it. "What brings you here? Going somewhere I'm guessing? "

~~~~~~
Arwel's ears perked up and he grinned as he turned his head to look over at the girl. "Heh. You'd be a pretty nice catch if you were scally with gills." The cat snickered and swished his tail happily behind him. "You want to join me, Amster?" He moved his hand around as he felt the ground for the other rod he thought he had brought, just in case one of the rods fell into the water or something.
The phoenix's cheeks grew a rosey shade under his tanned skin. "I.. Umm.. Running, no, I m-mean walk. I go on a walk everyday... Today I went on a different route and got a little lost. Lunch was probably an hour ago.." He sighed and scratched his head. "S-so what about you?" he asked in return, figuring it would be polite to do so.
~~
The angel grinned in return. "Would I? It'd be interesting to be a naiad or a mermaid or somethun of that sort. Of course I'd love to join you! ...Amster? Interesting nickname, I must say." Her purple eyes stared vacantly at the water. "I love the water.. Especially eating the food in the water. Do you?" she said, giggling. She never really tried fishing in her life... Only once when she was a child, and even then, it was her father that had been doing most of the work. She smiled at the memory.
Kacela stiffled a small laughed at the other's response. "Missed lunch did you? Shame. Whoever you lived with probably saved you something." The dragoness crossed her arms and leaned against the tree. She spread out her wings a little in a way the made it a bit more of a comfortable position. "I was training for a short bit. After I felt accomplished for the day, I got a bit bored and flew around. Landed here... Not much to tell, honestly... Life has been boring for me. This place doesn't suit me very well I guess."
~~~~

"Yeah. An angelic mermaid. That really would be a pretty sight to see." His grin grew a bit more as he finally found the rod. He handed it to the angel girl and picked up the fish bait he had to offer to her. "Yup. Sure do. Hoping to catch some the old fashion way for dinner, in fact. Maybe if we catch enough there'll be a bunch for the two of us." After adjusting around a bit with how he was holding his rod, Arwel reached down to pick up his cup of coffee again and took a drink from it.

"I k-kind of doubt it. Zetsudai, my friend, use to do that, but he left the house some time a go and hasn't come back yet. To clear his thoughts or something b-because of a friend of his. He s-said he want to be alone for a long time," he said idly. "B-but why am I saying all of this? And I see... You must be really strong by now then!" he exaclimed, smiling. His wings gained a flare for a moment before dissapearing.

~~~
"Really? I'd probably be too pink I'd blind you." She giggled. "Well if there isn't enough for both of us you can enjoy the meal." She glanced at him, mimicking the way he held the rod. Hopefully she'd survive through this. She felt herself praying that she wouldn't get a bite. "So how's the coffee? Good like always?" Her purple eyes stared at the glassy surface of water, waiting for the line to get pulled down and stirr the wonderful sight.
"Your friend is gone....?" She frowned and sighed. Her crossed arms almost seemed to be hugging herself now as she thought. "I know what that's like.... No need to explain." She shut her eyes and chuckled. "I suppose... Not strong enough for my taste yet though. Never hurts to go for a little more in some cases..." She opened one of her eyes for a moment to look at the other. "I hope your friend returns to you soon, Zetsudai. Someone like you doesn't deserve to be separated from a precious friend...."
~~~~

"Well I'll have to make sure theres two. I'd be rude or whatever if I ate in front of you..." He sipped some more of his coffee. Apparently drinking that in front of her wasn't rude. "Blind me? If all the pink would blind me I think you already would. You're pretty pink already," He teased. His eyes glanced out to the line. He frowned a little, wishing something would happen already. "Yes, of course. Coffee never fails to please me."

"I-I'm sure he will e-eventually.." the phoenix said, though doubt still settled in his heart. "With what you said... Does that m-mean the same thing has happened to you?" he nibbled on his lip. "I see... Well, you seem like a good fighter so far. I haven't seen you in action but it'd be nice or something to see you one day." His eyes gazed into Kacela's once opened eye curiously before bringing his sight towards the sky to study a fluffy cloud. The white cotton ball billowed over the sun, making it dark and shady feeling.

~~~
"That'd be okay! I had lunch about an hour ago!" she responded, snickering ever so slightly. "Oh really? Well, I guess so! My outfit is pink like my wings and my hair and ribbons are colors that are kind of related to pink." She grinned, glancing at him for a moment before bringing her gaze back to the fishing pole. It looked like her line went down for a second.. Was it her imagination? She sighed and gripped it tighter, wondering if Arwel had seen it as well so she would know if she was truly going crazy.
Kacela nodded her head. "Yes. It happened. In a different way. She didn't exactly leave on her own wishes. In fact I've been trying to find her. It's begining to get hopeless though..." Her red eyes shot away. She didn't want to talk about her friend much. Already she regretted telling him what she did. Now she was thinking about what had happened. "Hm... fighting.."Her eyes slowly looked back over at her friend. She frowned. "I doubt you fight, or do you?" She asked curiously. It would be nice to have someone around to practice with her...
~~~

Arwel snickered. "I think you have a thing for pink, Amster," He said to state the obvious on purpose. Arwel was never much of a pink person before, but with Amy he was good with it. It suited her nicely in his eyes. His green eyes quickly darted over to the pole after he caught a glimpse of the moving line. "Whoa! Amster, I think you have something. It might be time to try to start reeling that thing in."

He felt like he was intruding her space... Did she mind? "I'm s-sorry... That's terrible..." he responded uncomfortably. "Me.... Fighting...." He remembered once trying, but it wasn't his kind of thing."No... I may try again one day though. Not sure..." He closed his eyes. It was something to contempalate. He was never much of a fighter.

~~

"So you just realized it? Of course! I like it just as much as your addiction to coffee!" she responded, grinning. Amy glanced at the rod nervously. "You... think so?" she asked, her grip tightening even more in her sweaty palms. "I... Uhhh..." She wanted to scream at Arwel to take over. Her eyes went to the cylinder shaped line, where the line was wrapped around. Her fingers curled around the handle and attempted to roll it, but it felt stuck. Was it a big fish or was she just unsure of herself? "I;m doing it right, right? I c-can't remember well!" she said, rushed.

Kacela shook her head. "No need to be sorry. I'm getting used to the idea that I may never see her again," She quietly said. Kacela knew life was harsh and she would eventually have to deal with the truth that her friend could be dead for all she knew. She frowned a little in disappointment even though she expected as much Fuorre didn't fight. "Ah, that's a pitty. Doesn't matter. My hobby is a bit unusal anyway. I don't think it would suit you too well anyway. You're just fine with the way you are... The world needs gentle people as well as strong."

~~~~~~
Arwel frowned as he realized she seemed a little lost in what to do. He put his rod down and stood up to quickly move behind her. "Here, if you don't mind..." He put his arms around her to hold the fishing pole with her so they could pull it up together. To someone looking at them from behind it would look like he was embracing her from the back. "Can you reel it in? I'll help you by pulling a bit, but if you need help with that too, just tell me..." He said and started to tug back on the line a little.
Fuorre glanced at the sky, taking in the warmth og the sun. "Still, that kind of stuff..." he trailed off, looking back at her. Well, Kacela was a strong person. He already knew that. 'I don't think it's unusual thouigh.." he smiled a little. "Fine the way I am...I guess it's true." He laughed slightly. Gentle and strong, he was gentle. Wasn't gentle usually suppose to describe a girl and strong for a boy? He didn't mind though.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Amy smiled. "Thanks..." She felt her mind clear up and she could remember what to do now. She reeled it in to the best of her ability. "I hope I'm doing this right...." She held her breath.
