 Trishella Stratos A.K.A sparks Sparks ran into Professor Elms Lab after a long train ride from Twinleaf Town. "Hi professor!" she shouted like any overeager 14 year old girl. "Can I get a Chikorita?" she asked hurried, trying to stop from bouncing back and forth on her toes in her excitement. She was finally going to start her own Pokemon adventure without any grown ups around to tell her what to do.

Professor Elm nodded with a grin. "Sure thing," he agreed, retrieving the requested starter. He handed over a Pokeball, Pokedex, and a few empty Pokeballs. Trishella Stratos A.K.A Sparks Chikorita Lv 5 HP-40 Female Attacks Tackle-20 Growl-10 Sparks took the Pokeballs and Pokedex and thought for a brief moment. "D'ya know where I can find a Chinchou?" she asked as she held out her father's fishing rod. "I really want one!" she enthused as she stuck her new acquisitions in her bag.

"Actually, I do believe there have been some spottings of Pokemon lately in the area. I'm not sure the exact details, but perhaps you should give that rod a go," Professor Elm nodded with a smile.
"Who knows what you might fish up?"

Iris sighed, she'd stuffed her hands into the small pockets of her white skirt. She was excited about getting her first pokemon, but she was still debating on what she wanted. She could still remember the vast array of pokemon she'd seen in a book once. The cutest she thought was the Chickorita, however, that was a grass element and she was very fond of water in general. Of course, grass liked water opposed to pokemon of the fire element who supposedly didn't.
She walked into Professor Elm's lab and smiled at all the head's that popped up to see who was there. She waved in a friendly manner to all of them before approaching the desk area where she was supposed to meet Professor Elm. "I'm here to recieve my first pokemon please," she told the clerk with a smile.
She was probably a lot older than all the other people who were getting their first pokemon, but she had wanted to finish her schooling before getting a pokemon which she'd then have to care for.
Her black hair had bright pink highlights in it, she could see her reflection in a window and fixed it accordingly. Then made sure her bright banana yellow blouse wasn't wrinkly. She drummed her fingers on the desk as she waited for Professor Elm to come out of hiding.

Professor Elm looked up from his research paper with a nod, "So we have a new trainer starting out?" he asked kindly with a smile. It was always exciting to see someone beginning their Pokemon journey.
"So have you decided on which starter you would like?" Elm asked Iris.

Iris was a girl who couldn't sit still period. She was always doing something to keep her body moving. Like while she was waiting for Professor Elm to announce himself she was drumming her fingers on the desk, and swinging her foot back and forth though not hitting the desk. She smiled when Professor Elm appeared and asked her a few questions.
"Yes, we do," she said with a light, though excited nod. "I think I have. There's such a wide selection.. but I think I'll have a Chickorita for starters.."

"Alright then, just give me a sec and I'll go get your starter," Elm nodded with a smile, as he retrieved the requested grass type. A few moments later, he returned, along with a Pokedex, some Pokeballs, and a couple of Potions. he handed these over to Iris, along with the Pokeball containing the Chikorita. With a flash of light, the grass type emerged, blinking up at Iris before announcing happily. "Chika!" "If you have any questions, feel free to ask away," Elm smiled, "I'm sure you'll do great as a trainer, though." Event! Iris has received: or Chikorita Lv 5 HP-40 Female Attacks Tackle-20 Growl-10

Iris nodded to the professor as he left for a moment to retrieve her new belongings. "Awe thanks! I'm gonna name you, Trinity, kay?" The chickorita seemed to like her new nickname, and said "Chika!" rather enthusastically.
Iris smiled down at her new friend. "Thanks Professor, have a nice day!" She said grabbing her new belongings and putting them in her bag before strolling out of the lab. It was clear she was ready for her new career.

Board walked up to the lab with a little bit of nervousness. He knocked on the door and came in. "Hello? Professor? I hope you don't mind my intrusion. I'm here for my starter pokemon." After hearing nothing Board sat down and watched the pokemon play. He noticed a couple Cyndaquil playing with each other. He pulled out his Camera and snapped the picture. After that he pulled out his notepad. He started writing notes on the scene he had just witnessed."apparently pokemon are just like humans in the fact that they aresocial creatures in the early years. Interesting. This doesn't happen at home....."
When Board finally found Prof. Elm he looked up and closed his notebook. "Sir, I am Board Raide from Ecruteak and i wish to start my journey today. I wish for my starting pokemon to be a Totodile please, if you would give one to me."

Professor Elm nodded with a smile, "Yes, we try to integrate our young Pokemon with others of various species, to help them develop their social skills. We do the same thing to get them used to human contact as well," he explained with a nod. "I'm Professor Elm," he greeted, offering his hand, motioning to an aide to retrieve the requested Pokemon. The lab tech returned a short moment later, Pokeball in tow. "Here is your starter, I have to say, Totodile's a relatively rare request. I'm glad to find a partner for this little one." With a flash of light, the Totodile emerged, looking up at his new trainer. Event: Board has received: or  Totodile Lv 5 HP 40 Male Tackle-20 Growl-10

"I see. Well its always nice to learn something new. I must be going, I've alot to learn and such little time. It was a pleasure meeting you sir. I hope I see you some other time." Board said with a smile and walked out of the door with his pokeball clipped to a chain on his belt. "This is going to be a great adventure."
