The rustle of leaves was too quiet for any human to hear, but Sigilos knew Terk would hear and wait. He droped silently to the floor of the woods, his blending scales keeping him invisible. He sent a thought to Terk.
{*Do not speak, simply think the words, I will hear you. Are these the ones who attacked us? What am I saying, of course they are. Wait.*}
His head shifted, a tingling of magic came from him.
{*One of them has an artifact, it's somewhat potent. Perhaps we should releave them of that burden. And please, don't go charging in, I have an idea before you do that.*}
His last words were accompanied by a feeling of amusment and exasperation.

Terk looked over her shoulder, right through the white dragon, as if she didn't see it. *What do you think I am; stupid? I can feel the presence of it. That's how they knew we were there. Ihave felt this magic before. It is from my clan.*

{*Your're not stupid, but you tend to be impulssive, little warrior. If the artifact is from your clan, then it would be best if you retrieved it. I will, distract, them for a while when you are ready. This will fun.*}
With that, the Gold fadded into the forest, readying himself for the manuver.

Terk smiled. *I have gotten to this day by being impulsive...I don't plan on stopping now. The artifact is small, maybe the size of a child's throwing ball. But still powerful. Distract them, if you must, but it will not take me long to retrieve it."

Name: Riku
Good/Neutral/Evil: Neutral; changes sides when sees fit
Race: Shadow Dragon/Light Dragon
Weapons/abilities: An abnormally long katana, claws, horns, teeth, fire breath. Shadowmeld (melt into the shadows), Lightmeld (melt into the light).
Background/History: Riku has always been true to her particular blood line of shadow dragons; do what you need to get ahead. Her amibition is control, but over what can change constantly. She is most likely your friend when it serves a purpose to be, though being a deceptive being not a soul can tell until the last minute.
Whatever else: Her body is entirely black with sharp tipped scales in the dark and in the light a golden-white. When the darkness and light values are not so distinct they colour mixes.
She's a combat expert and likes to stirr up trouble when she sees fit. She's very fast but is not a heavy hitter.

Melted into the shadows she stalked the creature carrying the artifact and looks at in in curiousity. A strange growling-chirp escaped her and caused the creature to stumble in fear and confusion. She sensed dragon presences nearby and wondered what they had to gain themselves from being here. Perhaps a trade can occur if she took the artifact for her own- yes, she could join their side until another advantage would open. But she longed for some real combat; she'd see what to do depending on their reaction.
Her ice blue eyes began to materialize from the shadow followed by the rest of her body- she was in her hybrid form; a two-legged humanoid dragon standing at 8 feet tall. She had been blessed with long arrow-dynamic parents.
A noise like a wolverine errupted from her through as she sliced the creature with an enchanted blade- one that could "kill" any creature be it living or dead. Despite the fact that the dead were not actually killed merely "forced" to move on from their earth bound state, she still used it in the past to remove unwanted ghostlies. The blade was so long that she managed to slice through half of a tree's trunk. She grabbed the artifact and chirped in glee.

The Gold looked in surprise at the newcomer, cursing himself for not paying attention. Her mind, it was obviously a her, stood out like a becon when he looked. This creature was certaintly intelligent.
*All honor and grace to you, Lady. I greet you in the name of me and my comrades, may the wind be forever in your favor.*
He said this vocaly and mentaly, not knowing if the girl could talk. It had been a long time, but he remembered his greetings like he had learned them yesterday.
He waved his claw, sending tendrils of magic out to freeze every one of the raiders in their tracks, unable to move, or hear. No need to take chances.

She heard the the Golden dragon's voice in stereo and was confused for a second; she has not heard thought-speech since she was a hatchling.
"And to you, lord." She responded in a growling yet feminen voice.
She jumped powerfully with her claws sticking out and landed on another creature running in confusion, pulling it to the ground in a blood torn mess. She melted into the shadows again in preparation to pounce on another poor suspecting victim.
She had made her choice; join them, for now, as it seemed a good course of action at the moment.

Terk's shoulders slumped. "Figures..." she mumbled to herself. Behind her, the white dragon faded away in to the night air again. "What do you want with that artifact. It is of my clan, thus mine to take care of."
Terk looked over at Sigilos. "There is something vagely familar about her. I have felt this before."

The gold sent a thought to Terk, watching her face for any reaction.
He spoke out load to the newcomer.
*I ask your name, if you would, Lady. Mine is Brazen AiRonyo Sigilos. I am commonly known as Sigilos. And my comrade is correct, I'm afraid. That artifact belongs to her.*

She materialized and grabbed a fleeing straggler. She dug her claws into him, tackling him into the dirt and turned towards the others.
She chirped in disappointment, shifting her gaze to the ground. What was the artifact anyway? She'd only give it up if she had that information. At least it would still be in the party's possession if she found a need for it.
"What is this artifact anyway? What is its purpose? What does it do?" She asked the claimer of the object in a more melodic (for a dragon) voice, walking towards her with it.
She stopped and turned to Sigilos and said, "Riku is my name." She turned back to the female with the annoyed look on her face and asked, "And yours?"
She hopped a little in her direction more waiting for answers than to give the object.

Terk looked at Sigilos and nodded slightly. Turing to Riku, she spoke calmly. "My name is Terkish Rugby of the Eastern Shadow Clan. THat is all you need to know, that and the fact that the small babble you hold belongs to me."
Terk stood in the shadow of this other dragon, but did not move. She had broken laws of dragon kind few others dared to cross. If she happened to meet one of these few, so be it.

She growled softly in frustration, he sharp scales twitched and flicked slightly. Her ice blue eyes grew slightly darker as she slowly came closer to her. She contemplated leaving with the artifact and forgetting the group, the option was appealing to her very much. Without showing her disgust she reached out yet still held on to the artifact with a strong grip. Her eyes darted from each dragon trying to read their thoughts. She may not be psychic or telepathic but she was usually good at reading other's by their faces alone.
She sighed and let go of the object. She turned around and walked a little distance away from them. Speaking over her shoulder she asked, "What brings you out here, by the way?" She moved a little, softly rustling the leaves. She turned towards the Golden dragon as he seemed much more polite and reasonable. She actually liked him surprisingly, he had a likeable personality. She resolved not to cross him.

The gold stood politly watching. When Riku asked why they had came, he answered.
*We have been tracking the humans that are camped here. They attacked us while we were flying above the woods, so we came to investigate. We where about to make a move when you arrived, Milady.*
As he spoke, his scales changed back to their golden splender. The humans all reacted with greater shock to seeing him materialize from the trees.
*May I ask your journeys reason, Milady?*

The question posed a momentary dilemma to her, did she even know what she was doing out here? An honest answer seemed almost like a command from the Golden dragon.
"I'm looking for something," she started. "And I'm not sure what." She shut her jaws before she went into a long speech about her early life, teaching herself to survive, and before she gave away too much honest personal information about herself.
Her tail waved back and forth a bit and she looked at both the 'party members,' as it came to be, expectantly.
"Where to now, then?" She asked and then chirped shortly.
