The unicorn smiled and held her to his chest, not wanting to let her go. He let her cry as he smoothed her hair back with his hand, nuzzling his noze into her locks to inhale her scent. How he had missed her. Tuomas lifted the feline into his arms and brought her inside, into his forest domain of a room. He settled down on a knoll of soft grass, placing her in his lap.

It seemed like the feline couldn't hug him any tighter as she cried, and looked up at him as a child would when making sure their parents weren't ever going to leave again. From this angle as she was placed in his lap, Tuomas could see the bandages peeking out from under the sundress around her one thigh. Aphrodite tried to calm down as she took in deep breaths and looked up at him teary eyed but smiling. "I'm sorry I've been away so long."

Tuomas smiled down to her, gently brushing away the tears from her eyes with the back of his slender hand. He would have cried as well, were it not that he was too happy to see her. He couldn't stop smiling. He leaned over and kissed her forehead, holding her close to him as he saw the bandages. Proof of his worries. "It is I who should apologize for being away for so long." His crimson eyes wandered over his feline love, taking her in in all of her beauty. "I was afraid I would never see you again."

Aphrodite looked up into his eyes and he could see something had changed within her. Her arms now drapped around his neck and she kissed him lovingly befoer she pulled free and rested her cheek against his. "Tuomas.. I am just really happy to see you again." He could hear a soft purr motoring within her chest.

He looked down upon his love and smiled, happy to have her in his arms and hear her voice. Her purring made him chuckle a little, but he was still concerned. Not wanting to find out in a harsher way, he had to ask her. "What happened to you?"

"I confronted Travis and Lil with Love and his family. I would have lost if it wasn't for them." Aphrodite sighed. "It was afterwards though that I realized something." Her golden stare drifted up to him. "No matter what emotions I might have for another anthro, the ones I have for you are deepest." The feline nuzzled his neck affectionately.

Such words from her gave a comfort unto his heart unlike any other. All worries and doubts eased from him and he nuzzled his cheek against hers gently. "I'm glad they were there. I don't know what I'd do without you." Tuomas looked down at her with an honesty that echoed throughout his forest haven. "You are the light in my heart that drives away my darkness. Without you, I'm a mere shell of a beast." He hadn't thought he could feel so deeply for someone, but there she was; the embodiment of his hearts desire.

Aphrodite smiled up to him and nuzzled him as she whispered queitly, "You always know how to heal my heart, my prince." She said nothing but her wound from Love still burned. She felt scourned from him. But it didn't hurt as she thought it would have. No, it was a rather dull ache. Nothing compared to when she thought she would never see Tuomas again. Innocent golden eyes stared up at the unicorn male. "Where.. did you go?"

Tuomas smiled softly to her, then sighed heavily to her question. "It was hard for a while. Yaruka had some financial problems and we had to leave the manor until it could be straightened out." He shook his head a little and flicked his tail in slight annoyance. "I don't understand this 'economy' that humans have created. It does nothing but harm others and brings no happiness, even when one is wealthy by standards."

Aphrodite blinked slightly. "Economy? Ohh its the gold thing Leena always chatters about. Yeah I do not get it either but then again, I have always believed that love answers everything." She smiled sweetly to him before laying a kiss to his cheek. "So where did you end up moving to during this rough time?"

Tuomas smiled and hugged her close. "Well, we moved into one of Yaruka's old homes. It was very small, but we managed. Unfortunately, it was too far away from here for us to come by." He sighed heavily, then tickled one of her ears. "Well, at least things got straightened out. I couldn't stand being away from you."

Aphrodite giggled, her ear twitching to flick at his finger. She then smiled up at him and toyed with a locke of his long hair. "I missed you too Tuomas." Slowly the feline rose up and smiled down to him. "You know.. if that kind of thing ever happens again, you should come stay with me next time."

Tuomas chuckled a little and rose up as well, looking at her with a loving gaze. "I'll keep that in mind. Means I can watch over you closely." He smiled a bit and picked off one of the flowers from a tree carefully, placing it in her hair just behind her ear.

Her ear twitched uncontrollably. Aphrodite smiled and hugged him, her arms wrapping around his neck as she looked into his eyes. "You know, you were gone for soooo long.." Her lips pouted so sad but playfully. "You owe me something for my troubles."

Tuomas chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist securely, looking down at her pout. He grinned a little and touched her pouting lip with a finger. "Indeed, I do, my princess. So, tell me....what ever can I do to make it up to you?"
