Everything would be fine! But...she really didn't want Dusk to see her in something she wore to bed! It wasn't something you wear to be casual! The cat sighed and rubbed at her templed, nearly falling back when she bumped into someone. "Oh! Reynee! I've been looking all over for you! Where've you been?" Eight hugged her daughter, blinking when she realized she was rather wet. The poor dear had been caught out in the rain, hadn't she? "Oh my! You were outside this whole time? ...You do realize none of my clothes fit you, right?" Reynee's blush only grew darker now that her mother knew what she was doing.
"I was...talking to Dusk, and it just started raining." Eight raised a brow.
"You haven't talked to Kailine yet?" Reynee paused, her eyes lowering as she shook her head. It would be the first time she'd ever lied to Eight...but she didn't want her mother worrying about her. "I see...well...you should talk to her soon..." There was this nagging in the back of Eight's head that told her Reynee wasn't being completely honest, but she'd let it slide...for now. The halfling smiled softly and lifted Reynee's chin, and the cat forced a smile.
"Oh...um...Mom? Can I stay one more night? I kind of want to make sure Dusk and Twilight don't get sick..." Eight froze, staring at Reynee. Reynee knew full well that she'd be stuck in her nightgown if she stayed, and Eight hadn't even met the famous Dusk! She didn't know if she could trust him! But you trust Reynee... Eight thought to herself, sighing and regarding her daughter with a cautious, stern stare.
"...Alright...but be careful. I'm trusting you, Reynee." She kissed her daughter's forehead and hugged her gently. "Nice circlet, by the way." And with that, she let go of Reynee and slowly walked away to round up the rest of her children. Reynee would be good...she knew it, she'd never do anything like that...
The cat sighed and leaned against the wall. "I'm trusting you, Reynee." She repeated, groaning and burying her face into her hands. Damnit! Why'd she have to go and say that?! Reynee frowned and finally grabbed her bag, entering the closest room to change before walking back to Dusk and Twilight's room with a purple, silk robe covering everything she could manage.

Dusk sighs as he finally finishes reading Twilight a good night story, gently kissing the top of his head before reaching to pull the bandage off and check his burn, inspecting it and attempting to rewrap it. He stands, moving to go and get a towel and get as much of the water out of his hair as he could, muttering a bit as he sat in one of the chairs as he started to brush the tangles out of his hair. He stares at the wall, feeling odd without Reynee around. She was just down the hall chan....changing. He blinks and goes red at that thought, gulping before shaking his head. That certainly was an odd thought...

God, this was going to be so embarrassing! Reynee took a deep breath and sighed, swallowing hard and walking back into the room. Pleasebedecentpleasebedecent! Both of her eyes had been closed when she walked into the room, opening one eye and spotting Dusk in a chair. Oh good, he was dressed! "...Er...what do you think?" She asked, smiling nervously and turning to Dusk. The robe, thankfully, was a decent length, even if it didn't cover her legs entirely...but it served its purpose and covered up what she was wearing. "This isn't really what I don't want you to see, but...I'd...rather not take this off..." Not until he was like...asleep or something.

Dusk sighs, blushing at a few random thoughts that go through his head. Why had he never had these kinds of thoughts before? Suddenly if was if it was the only thing he could think of! He starts when he door opens, jumping up quickly and trying to not look guiltly of anything. He opens his mouth to say something, though he wasn't sure what he was going to say, but goes silent as his eyes finally find Reynee. He opened and closed his mouth a few times like a goldfish on dry land. He gulps, eyes drifting down to her legs, very...very bare legs and blushing darkly, looking back to her, trying hard to find of something to say, anything at all. But his mind just came up as a blank as he stared at her, blushing more.

Dusk wasn't saying anything! That was either a good sign or a bad sign, but the look on his face told her it was a very good sign. Reynee laughed quietly and walked over to Dusk, standing in front of him and taking both his hands so her fingers entwined with his. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" It was only after she'd said that did Reynee want to shoot herself in the face for saying that. What a horrible pun! It'd been an accident though! She didn't have Dusk's tongue!
...Yet.
"I guess I should be glad I have a robe on then."

Dusk just sort of stares with wide eyes as she made her way over to him, slowly squeezing her hands as he swallows hard. His eyes try to drift down many times but he forces himself to focus on her face. When he did finally speak, his voice squeaked a few times like it had when he'd gone through puberty. "...it's....definately different from your other outfit..." he swallows hard again, mouth feeling dry. "...what's under it..?" The words were out of his mouth before he could stop them and his hand was moving on it's own as well. His hand lets go of hers and moves up to gently part to robe to see what was under it, eyes going even wider if it was possible, making a small nosie at the sight of what she was wearing.

"Yeah well, the only time I usually wear is when I'm sleeping." Reynee murmured, looking away to try and hide the blush on her face. Oh God, this was so embarrassing!
"...what's under it..?"
Her breathing either quickened or stopped, it was hard to tell, but Reynee's heart was certainly speeding up. She couldn't move! Or at least until she felt the robe fall completely off and quickly held her arms, blushing darkly and trying to cover herself up. Oh God, oh God, oh God.

"y-you mean...you wear this often...?" Dusk gave another hard gulp then his eyes widen with a tiny nosie as the robe slipped completely off. He hadn't meant for that to happen! he'd just wanted to see what was under it because she'd made him curious. He quickly looks to her face again. "I am so..so sorry Reynee..I....I...I didn't mean to..." he blinks, struggling for a way to save himself. He watches her, blinking before squeezing her hand, giving in to the urge to kiss her and leaning in to gently claim her lips, murmuring another sorry as he pulled back. He pauses, eyes looking to her when he pulls back before kissing her again, deeper this time as his hand rests on her neck. He kisses her slowly before his eyes go as wide as possible and he pulls back, his face the reddest it'd ever been in his life. He gave an awkward squirm, pants suddenly no longer comfortable as he felt like his heart was beating itself to death in his throat.

Reynee blinked. "Uh huh, every night. Why?" That wasn't such a big deal, was it? The cat looked behind her and carefully slipped her foot under the robe, leaning back as she slowly brought her foot up. Hopefully it'd stay, and it did, so Reynee plucked it off her foot and turned to put it back on with a soft smile. "Oh no, it isn't your fault. It was just too smooth to stay on my shoulders that far back, it's my fault for not bringing proper clothes. Had I known it'd suddenly start storming I would have." She stuck her tongue out playfully at the comment, blinking when she was suddenly kissed. The poor girl didn't even have time to react! Of course the second time was much more pleasant, purring softly and leaning into the kiss. It felt so good whenever he kissed her...however, this kiss didn't last as long as Reynee would have liked.
"What's wrong?" She asked quietly, slipping her robe on again and reaching up to wrap her arms around Dusk's neck and lean her upper half gently against him. "You look like you've just seen me naked or something!" As far as Reynee knew that was a joke, smiling her brightest smile and looking up at Dusk with a curious gaze. What was up with him today?

Dusk gave another gulp at the thought of her wearing it every night. He vaguely watches her pick the robe up with her foot, mainly watching her shoulders. His hands reach up to gently pet at the skin before blinking at her statement, slowly nodding in understanding. His brows furrow when she sticks her tongue out at him.
He barely hears when she asks him whats wrong, only really registering that she was wrapping her arms around him and pressing against him. He swallows and leans to kiss her again but freezes at her next statement, blinking once, twice and then a third time before going bright red. "I-I-I...I'm so sorry...." he untangles himself from her arms and rushes from the room, hiding in the first empty room he could find, pants definately not comfortable anymore.

You're so gentle, Dusk." Reynee purred, closing her eyes at the feeling of his fingers brushing against her skin. Perhaps it really had been a good idea for her to wear this after all, Dusk seemed to love seeing her in it already. It was making her skin tingle! Reynee opened her eyes, blinking and looking up at Dusk. He sure was apologizing a lot today, what was wrong with him?
"Sorry? But why?" Well that was weird, he was freaking out for some reason...but why? The cat glanced at Twilight and smiled, petting his hair gently and quietly following after Dusk. "Where did you go...?" Where to look first? He couldn't have gone far, so Reynee just began checking every nearby room. Some were locked, but there was one that wasn't...was this the one he was in?
"Oh! There you are!"

When Reynee did open the door to the room he was in he had pulled his pants out a little and was staring down into them with a confused or annoyed expression, it was hard to define. He yelped when he heard her voice, stumbling backwards and hitting the bed, nearly falling on the floor. "R-Reynee!" He gulps.
He blushes darkly as he stares at her, swallowing again, having no idea what to say or do. The only thing he knew was that he wanted to kiss her again and not stop but every time he kisses her is seemed there was less and less room in his pants! He blushes more, still unable to get the image out of his head that her statement had caused.

This girl really was oblivious to whatever was bothering Dusk, and it wasn't intentional either. What had gotten into Dusk? One minute he was fine and the next he was acting like...he was scared of her...
Reynee got down on her knees and frowned, clasping her hands under her chin and lowering her ears. Was that it? Was he suddenly terrified of her for some reason? What had she done? As far as the cat knew she'd behaved quite well! Reynee whimpered and crawled over to Dusk, brushing hair from his face and climbing onto his lap. Hey...wait a second.
"...Oh...oh...m-m-my!" She breathed out, blushing just as darkly as Dusk and staring at him with wide eyes. That was why he was suddenly avoiding her?! No wonder he was blushing and apologizing so much!

Dusk's eyes widen as she crawls to him whimpering, biting his lip then his eyes go even wider when she crawls into his lap, tensing greatly. "R-Reynee wait before yoou do that-..." his face went bright red as she obviously found the problem of his discomfort, looking away and hiding his face in his hair,trying so so hard to just ignore it and let her crawl away or whatever she was going to do. She probably thought he was dirty or a pervert or something now, he'd only been kissing her and...then....this!

Reynee didn't feel disgusted at all, in fact she began laughing! It wasn't a rude laugh, it was just a soft little laugh that bubbled forth from her lips. The cat smiled softly and pushed Dusk's hair away from his face, petting his cheeks and kissing the tip of his nose. "My poor baby, that's why you've been running away from me? I guess I should be the one apologizing!" Reynee chirped, snaking her arms around his neck and leaning in to claim his lips with a deep kiss. If Dusk hated it so much, Reynee was going to do anything she could to calm the poor boy down. Had he never felt like this before or something?
