"Ah... l-like... like M-mr. W-woodrow?" He glanced to and from the television, eyes widening at the sight of another octopus person. At the sight of a seaurchin and a shark-headed man, his interest was perked and me moved to sit, "N-not q-quite v-very realistic, is it?"

Marshall blinked, then looked at the TV closely. It did kind of look like Boss. He chuckled, "Heh heh...Eh, you're right. An octopus would never wear that color!" Marshall laughed, getting more fun of of this than when he watched it last, "And they go the shark's accent all wrong!"

"I.... I'm n-not fam-familiar with a sh-shark..." Newt moved to hop closer to Marshall's entertainment center, looking for a place he could crouch without monopolizing too much space. "W-what accent sh-sh-should they have?"

"You don't know Alec? Well...Umm...Its either Scottish or Irish...Either way it ends with an -ish and is close to England." Marshall chuckled, enjoying watching a movie with a friend. He couldn't remember the last time he did this. Slowly, he started to remember: It was with Gaius and Liamh. It seemed like such a long time ago, now.

"I'll have to... m-m-make his aquantence," Newt replied politely, shifting uncomfortably. He wasn't sure how quickly he'd like to meet a shark, and had worries concerning the outcome of a meeting with such teeth. ESPECIALLY if they were Irish or Scottish.

"Heh heh." Marshall chuckled, pushing his memories away to focus on the present. "Hey, you want a soda? ...Do you even drink Soda any more?" Marshall asked, figuring that people had to change their diets because of their changes.

His head bobbed down as he gave a little embarassed ribbit, "Er... d-do... you have any t-tea? Or.. or w-water's fine..." And some roaches if he had any, but he wasn't about to embarass either of them.

"Um...I hope Tap's okay." Marshall said as he walked over to his mini-kitchen, filling one of the standard glasses with room-temperature tap water. Frogs were kind of like fish, so they were sensitive to cold, right? Marshall was never one for Biology, that was clear. He took an Orange soda out of the fridge, but then realized he couldn't open it.

"Umm...Newt? Can you do me a favor?" Marshall asked, embarassed.

"Ah... w-well, I sup-suppose it's f-fine... I s-sleep in it, r-right? Er... t-tap water I mean..." He glanced around the room again, throat dancing as his heart sank a bit, "Er... wh-what sort of f-favor?" No more cleaning!

Marshall handed Newt the tap water. "Um, i-its nothing big buuuttt..." he said, stretching out the 'but' so that it sounded even less serious than normal, "...Could you open my soda can for me? I kind lost my fingers, so its a bit of a problem with out my good hand." Marshall chuckled, slightly red under his black feathers.

"Oh!" Now, that was easy, "It's j-just a m-m-matter of luh-leverage..." He had to use the sleave of his jumper to cusion his nail-less, webbed finger to pop it open, "C-can you g-grip anything w-with it? I c-could p-probably f-find a m-metal sp-spoon or kn-knife or something from the c-cafeteria if I c-can... Er... if... if th-that'd work?"
PostPosted: Tue Jan 02, 2007 8:29 pm

"Well...The only thing I got like that are pencils. Think that'd work?" Marshall asked, realizing how limited they were now with out nails or fingers. Man, if Marshall was this bad at only two changes, how would he be after three? Or four? Marshall let out a small shudder at the thought.

"If th-they d-don't break... I don't s-see why not... If n-not, I c-could easily m-make one out of an old c-can or something... you'd j-just need a st-strong wedge to p-pop it up," He offered it back to him, "I c-could b-bend a b-bit of coathanger w-wire if you have one..."

"Well, I think all my coat-hangers are plastic...But here." Marshall said, ducking down, picking up a generic, Number 2 Yellow Ticonderoga pencil. He handed it to Newt, knowing how useless he was with only one flipper-hand.

"W-well, we're t-trying to figure it out to help yuh-y-you," Newt held the can for him at least, urging him to try the pencil himself.
