Chuckling to himself, the hole in the ground sealing itself up, Relban turned his gaze back on the twins. More fun than I've had in a good while.
"Well, now that we have her out of the way, what say you two about getting this mess fixed, so no one has to die, hmm?"
The man sounded a great deal happier now, although it wasn't very apparant, as his voice was still fairly serious. He still looked Teri / Faith up and down with only one eye, wondering if she could possibly be Faith reincarnated.
The other girl did call her little sister, and she did at least partly resemble Faith, if memory serves.
"My dear, do you know the name of your other self? Perhaps how I could speak to her?"

Teri grimsed as the woman spoke in her mind hating that she had that ability. Once she left she glared at her clenching her fists, why did she feel so helpless against this woman? She couldn't fight her, something inside her had love for the woman, or someone was the correct term. 'Damn you Faith.'
'You're just damning yourself.' Was the instinctual whispered reply. It always baffled Teri, these thoughts, it was no voice, she just knew what was being said.
Looking up at , Relban, she think she caught his name, she scratched the back of her head ruffling her hair. "Um.. well I dont exactly have any control ov-" Her words were cut off by the sudden change in aura presences.
"Hello Relban." Her voice shifted to a softer octive. Faith couldn't look into the man's eyes being ashamed of herself. Though the two never really spoke, she had always admired him for his self confidence. Once more she ruffled her hair sheepishly then stoped not used to having long hair.

Unlike Karu and Dark, he didn't head straight into the living room, he went in through the back door and raided the kitchen for food. After collecting some left over foods he when tinto the room with the other two lisening in in Dark's words. "Now before we go meddillin' with peoples lives and bodies and all that voodoo crap lets think about it." He set the plate on a table for everyone to share and sat down on a couch plucking a weird meet looking product off of the plate. "If I remember correctly from the books I've read, if someone is a reincarnation then they cant be seperated from their reincarnate. If you do so, you kill them because then they're no longer a reincarnation, just a fragment of a person, the evolution is the only thing left. A reincarnation is one soul, just reborn and evolved. Teri and Faith are one person, they share one soul." He thought for a moment going through the many pages of notes in his mind. "I think the only reason they're able to keep seperate is because, well, because, um.. The best way I can put it is a multiple personality disorder. Not to the extremes of Faith's last experiance, but to a more ground level. Same person, both of them, same personality, same emotional levels, same tastes, just plit into two, Teri being the knock off of Faith." He took a bite relaxing in the chair, "Not to sound like im taking sides or anything."
He noticed the slowly creeping pain in his arm disapeared suddenly and he blinked at it as it glimmered with healing magic. 'Faith is out again?' Gippal wondered.

Nathan stood back watching all the events happen so quickly, the only thing he felt her had time to react to was the smirk, inwhich he spit on the ground by her feet as she walked by.
"Teri dont." He told his little sister when asked to speak to Faith. Goosebumps rippled through his body when her aura changed from the warm crimson fire aura to a cool indigo chaos one. 'Chaos?' Not many people had that kind of magic, normally it was used by those who casted incantations. His curiosity flared as the girl standing beside him was no longer his sibling.
Nathan's parents never let him speak to Teri's other self, afraid she might try to harm him. No such events inclind that she might actually do something of the sort but 'better safe than sorry' came to mind with this memory. Perhaps he could get some awsners from her now that these problems were arising.

Relban smiled, recognizing the girls voice, the voice of someone from his past. A good friend, even if they hadn't spoken much. What also interested him was the magic that Faith's sister had woven, almost visible to his eyes. He could see the threads, the cords binding the lives of others onto her life. It wasn't nearly so simple, Sarai must have planned this for some time.
"My dear, you need not be ashamed. You have no need to avert your eyes to your peer, I am not your better, but your equal. Whoever that was, she seems not to want these bindings undone, they're rather complex. I suppose the best way to fix this would be to simply destroy the threads, and the magic binding your friends lives to yours."
Turning to look at Faith / Teri, his head rising so his face was completely visible, although half of his face was covered by his fiery hair. The wind calmed itself, becoming a warm breeze.

She couldn't help but smile at him, the first of her past friends to not be upset with her or acuse her of betrayal. "She's my older sister, Gwenivier, but she seems to be going by the name Sarai Cookie now." Still not able to meet his eyes she folded her arms behind her back glancing over her shoulder at Nathan who seemed to be pondering over questions. "You've grown up, thankyou for taking care of me through out all these years, we dont say it enough, but thank you."
Turning her stare back to Relban she sighed, although her voice still sounded somewhat childish she was no longer the naive child she once was. When she passed away she was a young adult of 23 years, plus the two thousand sum years she had lay in a dormant state. "Knowing my sister she wouldn't let the fix be that simple, she likes complex, it has always made more sence to her than easy." She explained hoping to enlighten the man on how her sister worked. "Incantations were always my families specialtys, and they're easy to fix if you know theright symbols. The incantaion she placed on Gippal's arm that connects him to me, well I've never seen the like before. As far as I know the markings are breaking certain rules of incantation making, but I've been dead for hundreds of years and things could have changed. Not to mention shes got our gods on her side, so not everything could be her plan."
She paused for a moment recalling the symbol on her sister's cheek, she pointed to her own cheek. "That symbol on her face, its more like a brand. She must have some sort of debt to pay to them or else she wouldnt have it. It only makes sence that she would be here though, other then my sister I was the only one left to the throne of my world. They probubly want to bring me back so that I can set Atinis back to normal, why they dont out my sister on the throne is beyond me though."

Relban sighed, he really hated demonic history, regardless of which demonic race it was. He also hated the gods, omnipotent beings attempting to shape the world how they please. The mention of a debt however got the old one thinking, about just what Faith's sister could have asked for, and what she was, or is being forced to pay.
Shaking his head, Relban chuckled. "I've always hated politics, that's not going to change. I hadn't planned on fixing the bindings, per say. I planned to destroy them. As for the other parts, I could easily make another body for you, however I can't seperate the two of you, short of annihilating your body, and retrieving your two selves from the ether afterwards. But that's not a short process, and I think your brother would protest."

Unsure of how to reply to the girl he just noded in a zoned out state. He snapped back to reality when she began to explain a few things. Well the chaos magic and incantation thing was now confirmed. Explained why Teri always drew weird symbols in the dirt, in coloring books and on her walls when they were younger.
Nathan was delighted to finally hear someone take into consideration of what he though tof all of this. "Damn right I'm against it." He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned on one foot. He was begining to feel like the outcast of all this chaos, as if he didn't matter in what was being done. She was his twin damnit, even to this day they had that weird twin bond. Feeling franic when she was franic, feeling pain from a stubbed toe she stubbed, sometimes know exactly what she was thinking, all that and more, even if they were in different parts of the city, it all worked in the visa-versa manner as well.
He placed his hand ontop of Faith's head, even if she was his sister from the past, she was still a large part of his sister and what made her. "I think we need to head to the mansion with the others and try to get this all sorted out. All of us thinking this out in one big group could be an advantage to jogging everyones minds in working out several things that could help. Won't you join us?"

Relban shrugged, his face not betraying any emotion. Looking at the twins he decided that it would likely be best to include everyone, even though he wouldn't be explaining to them his method of solving this, as it would take too long to put into words they would understand.
Shifting his feet again, Relban stretched out his arms, as if getting ready to catch something. To the twins surprise, only moments later, a small demon lept out of the forest and into his arms.
Faith may have recognized the little demon as Relban as a baby, although technically this child couldn't be Relban as a child, because Relban was the man standing before them.
"There you are, I've been wondering where you went off to. Are you okay little guy?" The little demon nodded, smalling happily, giving the man a big hug.
Turning back towards the twins, Relban smiled, "Alright, if we're going to go, let's get going."

Faith gasped looking at the little creature, it looked just like the one shehad seen wandering around from time to time. She could have sworn the little thing set her socks on fire once. "Relban...?" She looked fron the little creature to her old friend. "If thats not you then...?" A sudden grin sread across her face ear to ear and she giggled. "You sly dog you is that your kid?"
'What the hell is that?!' A part of her questioned. But all at once the question was silenced with an instinctual awnser.
Faith began walking towards the mansion waiting for him to awnser.

The little demon in Relban's arms curled up like a dog, quickly falling asleep. Relban held the creature close, letting it bask in his warm aura. Looking at Faith with a smile, Relban answered.
"Technically, you would be correct, he is my child, although not in the sense you speak of."
With his every step, the grass burned beneath his feet, the air around him warmer than normal, his smell of brimstone and sulphur drifting upon the breeze.

Nathan watched the two walk ahead not knowing where the mansion was. His eyes stared at the ground as he let things process in his mind, when he finnally focused on the burnt marks on the ground. 'Huh?' He looked for their source and found them at the feet of the man before him. 'What the hell is he?' He raised an eyebrow and couldnt help but smile and shake his head at the random thought that popped into his head 'I think I'd scream like a little girl if he were to attack me.' Nathan's unforgetable fear of fire twiked in the back of hsi mind cautioning him.

Faith knew of no other way to consieve child, she was baffled. She opened her mouth to question and then made a silly confused face closing her mouth realize she didn't know how, or what to ask. "Uh... "
Her tails ouffed up and twitched as she felt Nathan's fear. She giggled and turned her head slightly. "No worries Nate, he wouldn't harm hair nor fur on your body. Unless he had reason that is." Her smiled turned to Relban as she continued to giggle slightly amused.

Relban chuckled at his old friends confusion, willing to let her attempt to reason out the origins of the little being in his arms. Glancing between the twins, he was a little confused himself when Faith had mentioned his possibily harming her twin brother.
Well that's odd, I wonder where that comment came from? All I'm doing is walking, I truely hope I'm not threatening Faith's poor twin, I couldn't bring myself to harm someone a fraction of my own age, at least without reason.
Shrugging his shoulders, the old one just let the thought pass, knowing that the answer would come to him in time, as it always did.
The child in his arms seemed to evaporate, being absorbed into his body. As he walked, the air around him shimmered a little, hinting that the temperature around his body was very different than that of the surrounding air.
If Nathan truely could read auras, he would likely see very strange things in this man's. Fire being one, the other being primordial.
