New question for this week:
What is the most common fantasy subject you hear about the most? By this I mean, on most days, what is it you hear about the most that relates to fantasy and/or medieval stuff? It can be a thing or a concept or something like that.
For example: Where I live, I always hear about magic the gathering and/or harry potter. Wether is from tv or from my friends. I tell ya! It's always one of those...

I guess I could say Fairy Tales. My daughter likes to watch Hello Kitty's Furry Tale/Tail theater.

Who is the half blood prince you ask? I have no idea as I have never read any HP books. Not that I don't want to but I just rather buy videogames with the lil money I make. If I made more money I would also buy books and, who knows... Maybe even some manga. 3nodding

Magic and castles I'd say. If you're thinking about children's fantasy it'd be princesses and princes constantly. I personally find that style, as well as Harry Potter's style exceedingly badly done. That's my opinion though *shrug*.

I don't feel like sharing much about it right now Mel. But I feel it could be a bit better than HP in some ways.
Anywho, new question of the week:
If you could have a familiar of any type, which type would it be and why?
I for one, would like it if it could be the spirit of a white tiger. That way, it can't be killed or damaged. It would have the ability to possess enemies and warn me of danger and such. Hmm, maybe I should make one of the characters in my stories have something like this... rolleyes

I don't like the questions that make me choose ONE... Initally I thought cat, then you answered with a tiger and I'm like oooh, even better. Then Mel mentioned the Dragons, and I love this card (from Munchkin--card game) and it's a shoulder dragon and... Too many choices, I want them all *laughs*

You want them all? Sounds like a pokemon master, heh. When I play Castlevania SOTN, I choose the faerie familiar. When I play Neverwinter Nights as a druid, I choose some type of bird.... I think it is a hawk. One of my rpg characters has a wolf familiar, but lately I've been coming up with another character who has a koala.

For a familiar, I think I'd choose either a fox or one of my roomate's barn cats... also known as the cats that eat dogs... but it has to be furry....
