lol when i met my gf, in band, she had a crush on this tenor guy, who she now hates to death, but all her friends wanted her to say at least 2 words to him
Oliver(tenor dude): hey, do u have a cell phone i can borrow?
Kristina: no, sorry.

we have certain sections in my high school band there are definatly more active then others.. the Percs and the flutes. yeah yeah stereotypical but it's true.. the greatest though is people still have the "incestual" relationships and make fun of each other for it. the band at college being about 4 times bigger there are lots more relationships and I can say that my current Boy is a Tenor Sax and so far so good.. Band camp lets you get to know people right quick. wink
My favorite part of the band being totally comfy with each other and being mostly naked was friday night strip shows in my high school band. Before football games on Fridays all the guys would strip in the bandroom and *most * of the chicks went to the girls room to change. the bright ones wore boxers under their pants so they could change in the band room too and get an eyefull of the few attractive hotties we had in our little band. Although it also meant we had to watch Kenny run around in his boxers sweatdrop
After I left I found out that I too was the saught after DM. it's weird to think about that.....

Its hard for me to date outside of Band, becasue so much of my time is spent with my band, that it's the only time I see anyone sweatdrop My boy is a Tuba

i almost got raped as aband nerd sweatdrop this tenor sax wouldnt leave me alone while we were on our spring trip stressed then he called my crush a "douche bag" to his face scream stressed gah! he's such a whore! xd
oh and i fell asleep on deh the senior i was sitting with (on the bus around 11pm-ish)....i woke up and he was like *eyebrows move up/down, pretends to kiss me* and i was like " eek YEAH IM AWAKE! THANKS FOR ASKING! by the way....im a FRESHMAN!" and he was laughing at me for the rest of the trip redface

Thats true. most band people dont have a problem,but some of them do...you always have those execptions.

I must agree with everything said. In out band, we had to separate to girl/boy buses because some people were havign sex on the way home. The ironic part, ias that the people who told the band director had doen the same thing the previous year, except it was agreed not to tell the director.
I'm glad I was on the other bus.

Our abnd is pretty much open to everyone. But if someone disses us as a group, they'll be mobbed within minutes. biggrin

In our band, the chances of getting laid increase by 80%. First, our band director just doesn't care, hell let you do what you want as long as you do your job as a band member. Second, lts of people in band, most of the cool people are in it anyways. Third, in summer band, you get a one hour break. That's one hour you can wander through the school with no one around.

I'm not sure about my band, but there are some pretty slutty percussionists who (thankfully) are quitting next year. But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if people in my band were sexually active... my town being the way it is... There are couples in my band, and some of them date each other.. like a million times. It's kinda creepy sometimes.
I've never dated in band.. or anywhere else.. but I'm not as close to the people in my band... *shrug* Probabily cause I'm a loser but hey. Plus all the guys in my town are sleezy... so why try?
As for the cult comment.. someone told me about how they thought we had a secret room called "The Broken Sax" which is like a bar type thing where we all go hang out... I just looked at him like he was crazy.

Sadly enough, i haven't gotten laid in band....
Probably due to the fact that I am the biggest outcast in the entire band and everyone just tosses me aside like I am some disposable wrapper, and leaves me to chill with myself. Thus negating me from all human contact placed inside of this band. In turn which causes me to psycologically break down and go into random outbursts of yelling and crying, in an attempt to get someone to pay attention to me, which thus in turn causes more people to ignore me and hate me. Then after that happens, word quickly spreads around that I am a psycotic dumbass who's only use in life is to beat a drum senselessly with no musical talent behind me whatsoever, thus in turn causing me to lose the one last friend in the band, leaving me with not a person to care about me when s**t happens.
This is probably the reason why I haven't gotten laid in band at all....

It's true!! xd The Band/Drama poeple in my school are the ones getting laid...In Tech Crew, there are like, 6 virgins, and 4 of them are frosh,a dn of those 6 3 have done oral. Oh, and the stoners all have sex, too...but they're stoners.

I'm a football player... and I'm a band geek. and a virgin, but that's by choice. but I've noticed that most of the people in my school have been laid anyway cuz my school is full of a bunch of nasty, hormone driven sluts (boy and girl), so I really dont have a clue.

There is this one frechman that goes through guys like they are nothing... she goes out woth one.. and cheats on him with about two or three others in band... she was haning all over my monkey at one point... I was about to ring her neck...
Sometimes the band-lationships can aslo cause hostilities... once it happend to me and my friend steven, we were friends with benefits and ppl thought we were gonna go out until one night he asked someone else out behind my back and the only way i know was frm others... then when they broke up, they hated eachother...
