"Dragon's whiskey. Haven't heard that name in a while." He poured her another glass. "Thanks. I call it Dragon Fire Sake since to most, it burns their gut like fire."

Haruhi smiles and says, "It does leave a pleasant warm feeling. Which is quite amazing for any drink." Haruhi then downs the second glass as well. "Even with Dragon's whiskey it would take three or four glasses before I felt any warmth." Haruhi then sighs as she feels the alcohol begin to take effect.

He poured her another glass. "Glad to hear its more potent. I normally don't give this stuff out, but I figured you could take it."

Haruhi laughs lightly then sighs. "I, daresay, actually need it after the day I've had." Haruhi says sadly, "Just what I need to forget today even happened."

"What happened?" He poured her another glass, though this one not at full. "Of course you don't have to answer."

Whether you forget today happened or not, if something horrible happened it'll probably come back to you eventually. Running away from the past isn't the answer, you have to face it head on.

Haruhi glances at Mazarith and smiles slightly. "I know this but just for now I'd like to forget." Haruhi says to him then turns back to Ryu. "I don't have a problem with telling, it's just still so unbeilvable." Haruhi pauses and sighs sadly. "A messanger from my families village just came and informed me they all had died on a mission." Hauhi then wipes away a few stray tears. "All three of my brothers and my father. It's.. it's just too painfull.. too unreal."

*He sat there thinking*
Oh my, she's lost more family than I have, it was only my dad for me, but everyone in her family died...

Haruhi turns and looks at Mazarith and titls her head in concern. "Have I caused you unpleasant thoughts, Mazarith-kun?" Haruhi says in a quiet voice. "I appologize if that is so." Mazarith must have lost family as well. It is very unfortunate. Haruhi thought.

Oh, don't be sorry, it's not your fault. Besides, you have a bigger problem than I do.

Haruhi frowns and says, "The loss of family, no matter the number, is always the same. At lease that is what my father always told me after my mother passed away." Haruhi then patts Mazarith's hand. "Perhapse you would like a glass of this Dragon Fire Sake?"

Your father was wrong, losing one life is less loss than losing five lives, if I could save five lives of innocents by killing one bandit, I'd do it, better to lose one than to lose five.

"Mazarith can't have any. One he is only a kid, two it would burn him up probably." Ryu sighed. "The loss of family is definately a common theme around here it seems."

Yeh, too common.
*he looked down at the floor, his emotions mixed together, he was so sad, yet so angry*
I wish my dad didn't get murdered...I know I have to take my own advice and face the problem, but I don't think I can do much more, I already got rid of the bandits that killed him because he wouldn't give them what they wanted.
