"Erica Soltari, also know as Sufference, can be taken off the list." Hendrick's spoke over the radio. She turned to the other two on her team, "clean things up, take what we need, and then we head out. We have a large list, and it's going to be a busy night." She grinned, happy that she could skip out on Reuben's party, for a different sort of entertainment.

After they had left, Johachim entered the apartment, altohugh as he entered, he was't Johachim anymore. In the entry way, stood Xeen, his crimson eyes examining the apartment. "Erica...!" He called, closing the door behind him. ((MP: 10 SP: 4 LP: 50

There was no answer. Everything appeared to be in order, but things were not in the right order. The books on the bookshelf were put in the wrong places, and Erica, although never a strictly organized person, always kept her bookshelf in perfect form, it was the instinct of a librarian. Ora might have misplaced a book once or twice, but not five of them, and not on the high levels where Ora could not reach.

Somthing was direly amiss, and he knew what it was. He turned, quickly, and left the apartment.

Ora came home rather cranky, having spent her time trying to convince the man at a video store that she did not need her mother to rent an R-rated movie for her, that she'd seen and inflicted more violence in her first three years than what was incorporated in the entire selection of R-rated movies available at the store.
She grumbled closing the door behind her. She glared at the darkness, turning on a light while yelling out every curseword she knew, because the mother obviously was not home to scold her for going outside alone, as she should be. Ora walked to the kitchen, she probably left a note, and some kind of dinner. She wouldn't forget to feed her, she never forgot things like that.
Ora opened the fridge and looked at the basic emptiness, her crankiness growing. She slammed the door closed and looked for some kind of note, finding nothing. "Damn you woman! You better have better buy me those cookies to make up for this." She stormed out of the kitchen, towards the main room.
She paused as something odd came into view on the floor, it was a small gold studded earing, one of Erica's, she had been wearing the pair when she'd left for work that morning. The were was dried blood on the end, it'd torn out. Ora dropped it and ran towards her closet. When she got there she opened the door, and immediatley could see that a stranger had entered in before her. The runes vibrated with their intentions. They'd been there. They'd taken the mother.
Ora closed the door and backed away, holding onto her green teddy bear. "Mommy....." She closed her eyes for ten seconds, and then forced them open again. She began grabbing things and packing them into her bunny back-pack.
A moment later she was out the door, the thought crossed her mind that she should search for her father, but she pushed it away, she had no idea where to find him. Instead she went to an apartment not too far from hers.

Talia found the door open and stepped inside, instinctively grasping Soul Stealer's hilt. 'There's nobody here, but two other people have been in here in the last half hour.' Larrisa told Talia. Talia headed for the kitchen - food was always a priority.

Ora entered into the house, pausing as she looked at the area. "Care to reveal yourself?" She called out, stepping into the house, holding tightly to the bear.

Talia heard a young girl's voice. "Lori?" she said as she came out of the kitchen, teddy bear under her arm, bundled-up sword in one hand, and a withered apple in the other. "Lor-! Wait - you're not Lori! You tricked me! But I won't let you take me away like the book lady!"

Baranar stepped in after Ora, glancing around. He looked up at Talia, allowing Ora to deal with her as he headed towards Ora's room, sensing the magic of it.

Baranar entered Ora's room, smiling slightly. He walked to her closet, opening the doors and stepping in. He could sense a great deal of trouble was spent to keep people from looking in here, but it had since been broken. He spread his mind out into the crevices of the shattered spell, attempting to piece it together and find what he needed to know. That's the cue for you to tell me, by the by.

Baranar Baranar entered Ora's room, smiling slightly. The majority of the closet was filled with traces of Ora's frustrations. But a thread of thought stood out, one that was most definatley not hers. Flashes of thoughts, and images were easily gathered. Kid's not here, wait for the mother, distinct images of his role in erica's removal, bug the apartment, come back for her later, pick up milk before going home. With the last thought came an image of 'home', along with the man's apartment number. That was all that could be picked up from that thread, other than a few blurred images and jumbled words. But there many more threads of thought held tight in the spells of the closet, all of which belonged to Ora. That's the cue for you to tell me if you plan on continuing to snoop, by the by.
