Black Trees I don't know if there is already a thread about this, but I didn't see one...
I figure I'm going to hate myself for this later seeing as I'm admitting that I'm only in middle school while most everyone else is I'm guessing in high school...I'm tired of seeing all of these marching band related threads since they don't apply to me. Anyone else here in middle school and want to chat about middle school band programs? well i just finished middle school band. i started freshmen band marching practice with the full band 3 weeks ago

Eh... I'm going into 8th grade....
I'm still going to be in middle school band but I'm marching with the high school as well. :]

Our marching band starts at grade eight. But you can get in while in grade seven if your good enough.

I LOL at our Middle School band. Well, we kind of (Really) Suck.
But it's not so bad, all the sucky people are quitting when we get in to High School. biggrin Which is only about 3 months away. My friend Kyle and I will have the upper hand in marching band also because we both have a brother and sister, and we already know everything. XD

Im in the 8th grade and lovin it, even though band was full this year so i couldn't join sad I'm joining next year and I'm going to honors band cuz it rox!

im in middle school band.... but im going 2 high school next year (in 8th grade) so im sorry i wont be able 2 talk on here very long ill have to go 2 the high school sections crying

Gilliganiganiganigoo Me. 7th grade flute 5th chair i'm a chair higher, & in 7th grade. well, anyway, i'm in the intermediate[spelling?] band. (7th & 8th Grade). i'm soo skilled at the music we get, i get bored with it! so i [have not quit band] usually buy some of my own books with sheet music in them. i was going to do Land of Grant [Ohio] honor band but i felt like i wasn't ready but i'm sooo gonna do it next year!

I'm in beginning band, 6th grade. our beginning band is great. Most people at our school think band is for smart people, in other words, geeks. They think this because our music teacher in elementary school was a b***h so they didn't pay attention in music class. The Nerds on the other hand, we hated her too but we payed attention because it was a grade and we were going to need to learn this stuff if we were to do good on our arts and humanities tests in the spring. So we knew how to read music and stuff and so we know how it is supposed to sound, so our band sounds great for a beginning band. 4laugh

im in 8th and ive memorized the song Hedwig's theme from the goblet of fire on my flute, im the only one in my band that's done that so far...im the best too! biggrin

Anyone else here in middle school and want to chat about middle school band programs? I'm in 8th Grade, but my school district has a really good band program. We as middle schoolers can enter: 1. Marching band 2. Jazz band 1 ((have to audition)) 3. Jazz Band ((anyone can join)) 4. Honor Band ((have to audition for...now)) Not to mention some others not related to normal band like garage band and rock band.

Middle school was the by far the worst band ever. High school is no better. I'm in the normal band and I could never join the marching band. Unless it did cool songs like from the movie "Drumline".

I'm in Middle school, and i'm gonna join band on Feb. 20th (REALLY LATE sweatdrop ) Band started June 1st so i'm REALLY late ! T _ T; I'm a 6th Grader, i wanna play Oboe or Flute. Some stupid people in the flute band suck and only know A or B note (I think its the first note ) they just go for their BFFLs! rolleyes
