Teak set Haku down, and the boy scampered to the register. Digging through his pocket, out came one crisp 50 dollar bill. He set it on the counter and bounced on his feet as he waited. Getting new books was like...the average kid getting candy.

((Books....candy for the brain.)) Miss Maurie took the bill and subtracted the $45.18 from it. She gave Haku $4.82 and gave him the bag. "There you are. Is that it?" she said.

Haku took the bag and his change happily, thrusting the money back into his pocket. When she asked if that was it, Haku began scoring his mind for any threads of something he may have missed. There was a niggling feeling he had forgotten something, and that feeling drove him positively insane.
"No...Wait. Miss Maurie, you are at least somewhat familiar with the other shops in the area, are you not?" He paused, trying to find his wording, "Ryo's...caretaker, Riddle, is contemplating selling his shop and transferring to another district very far away from this location. Myself, and the other Hououza involved, wish to find a place of employment much closer than the one he wishes to attend. However, given Riddle's qualifications, we consider it an insult to find an occupation as menial as retail. Thus, my question to you, is do you know of any crafting shops, or artisan shops, or perhaps a forge nearby?"
Something dawned on Haku, then. His own father was an accomplished marblesmith, but also was a bronzesmith and worked at a forge not too far away. The forge, although at present Haku knew little about it, also made various tools from iron, steel and other metals, such as pewter, and spanish weaponsmiths occationally rented the building for weaponry production. Perhaps that was where Riddle could take occupation? Haku would need to look into that.

"I do know of a crafting shop, and a forge, both nearby, or in this town. The crafting shop is on the other side of town though, on Oblivion Road, and the Forge....well, I can't remember, I just know it's nearby," she said.
At that moment, Ryo burst in with Everett on his shoulder, and a small, green dragon at his feet. Ryo and the dragon were panting heavily, as if they ran here the entire way. Which they had.

Haku jumped, startled by the sudden intrusion. Teak stepped in front of the small Hououza. He had never met the green haired one or the dragon and owl before, and every new person was considered a threat until proven otherwise.
Now Teal might not be the most muscular being around, but he could look fierce, despite being a rabbit. For one, his incisors, the big buck teeth that protruded from his lip, were sharpened to points. Two, he was very tall, and tended to glare at everyone, three his numerous piercings suggested he had a high pain tolerance, and four, all of his nails were thick, and clipped to sharpness. Teak was one bad bunny.
Haku easily pushed him aside though, once he recognized Ryo. "Ryo! What's the hurry?"

Ryo took a few moments to catch his breath again. "Heartless....Heartless massing. Sora and Riddle are still back at the shop, trying to fend them off!" Ryo said. Everett hooted, and the Dragon made a small clicking noise.

"Heartless..what on..?" Haku had never heard of heartless before, or knew the story behind Sora. Teak however, was very familiar with kingdom hearts. "Haku, we need to return home and get Yero and Hikaro." Teak said, and Haku nodded. Raissen and he were not fighters, and would most likely get in the way. Teak and Yerodin however, were fierce combatants. Haku looked to Ryo, "We're going to run home, but Hikaro, Teak and Yerodin will return." He said, and with that, Teak and Haku ran off. Soon enough, Teak, Hikaro and Yerodin had run back to Riddle's shop, and were quickly surrounded by masses of heartless. (Just in case you were wondering, Yerodin looks like this)

((Thanks.)) Ryo had picked up the Dragon and flew home with Everett flying next to him. Riddle and Sora had been surrounded inside the shop. Sora launching off spells or attacking regularly. Riddle had out one of his own blades, glowing Sky Blue and was slashing at everything attacking. They were surrounded by Invisibles. Teak, Yerodin, and Hikaro had been caught by the Shadows outside, that were coming in to help the Invisibles, Wizards, Darkballs, Wonder Angels, and Defenders inside. Ryo drew his blade and began his attack on another side. Everett put on a pair of claws to protect his talons and to use as weapons as he slashed at the Heartless. And the Dragon, Metrid, began breathing fire at them, while also hitting them, which froze them.

Teak tightened his gloves on his hands and got to work, smashing at the shadows in quick hand to hand combat. His claws left open wounds on the shadows that caused them to sort of pop when they dissappeared, and the little balls of munny that they dropped became dollar bills when he stuffed them into his pockets.
Hikaro launched into the air and began using aerial attacks on the heartless, the huge gusts of wind he created wiping out several in one go.
Yerodin let out a mighty roar before he dove right into the fray, kicking and biting at any heartless that came too close. Considering the sheer number of them, it was a lot. One managed a good smack at him and cracked his glasses. Needless to say that heartless suffered a long time before finally perishing.

Ryo used a large upward thrust to launch a shadow into the air and used it as a bat and hit 5 other shadows, disappearing from the force. Ryo picked up the health and magic balls, as well as the munny. They were going to need it for the new house. Metrid flamed 3 at once, and they all disappeared. Not one Heartless was noticing that the three were making a path to the back entrance so they could get in. Besides, Shadows were easy enemies. "These Shadows are too easy!" Ryo called. But that jinxed it. The Shadows were just distractions from the real enemies approaching, the Neoshadows. All the Shadows backed away so the Neoshadows could attack. Metrid gulped. Both Ryo and Everett didn't know healing magic. Only him. Thank God Ryo had a good supply of Megalixers, Megapotions, and Ethers in his bag. A mad furry began as Ryo used a strong wind blast from his wings to send the Heartless flying. "Good job, that was," Everett said, sarcastically. "Brought stronger ones, you did."
Inside, Sora and Riddle were clearing a path, also collecting munny balls and magic balls, but trying not to worry about the HP. The Invisibles and Wonder Angels were a lot stronger than the Darkballs, Wizards, and Defenders, so they were consentrating on those ones first. Riddle blasted three Invisibles with a Light Beam and all three perished on contact. Riddle looked at his hand, then grinned. Heartless were made of shadows....so Light would be handy.

Yerodin thankfully knew healing magic, although that was the only magic he knew, aside from the few status raising magic.
Hikaro had flown over and grabbed a shovel, and was smacking shadows left and right, watching them fly away in glee. Never before was he allowed enough freedom to be this openly aggressive.
Teak was also happy to continue polishing up his fighting skills. It was so peaceful around that he was afraid he might be getting rusty. Not anymore, of course, now that he was ruthlessly laying the smack down on the heartless. Finding a defender, he knocked the guard away and took the shield, shooting fireballs at the neoshadows.

Ryo did a spinning strike and sent 8 Neoshadows up in the air, before he did another and they all were flung against the nearest vertical surface. Which, in this case, was the fence, the house, or another Neoshadow, which would slow it down, but not enough to prevent it from being flattened.

((From back to where Everett told Raven and Hikaro to come to the park, here's the summary. Ryo told everyone that he was going to move, Natu found Caeb, Ryo met Natu, Haku went to meet Miss Maurie, now Heartless are attacking Riddle's house and shop. A little help would be appreciated. Chegrin and I have the back and front, you get the sides.))

((Ooh.. thank you. That helps me out.. ))
Pach had gone home...
WITHOUT HIM! >E So of course, Raven now had to navigate his way around some dark streets.. with only the assistance of Shi... who wasn't much help and only looking around going 'La la la'.... like I said
not much help.
"Shiiii.. stop staring at that sign like you wanna eat ittttt..." Raven complained..
That sign would be rather tasty... has been Shi's train of thought when he'd been whined at by his brother.
".. =_=;" he folded his arms and stuck his tounge out, blowing through the slit in it to make a wailing noise...
"No."
