Liarenne watched as the forest was thinning out, but it hadn't gone completely away. There were still many trees and bushes and she trotted alongside Terr and the others, casting flickering looks at Fire. She stops suddenly, ears going back and she hisses.
Stop there. The command is firm, slightly feminine but definitely threatening. It's much like how a plushikat would speak...
Show self! Li demanded, her tail flicking wildly.
From the brush and bushes, branches as well, various pairs of eyes all peer at the group, surrounding them. Lots and LOTS of plushikats, all seemingly adults...
I don't advise advancing at all... just remian where you are and identify yourselves...

Heading west brings you into evne more dense foilage, and as you shove and push your way through... you get the feeling you're not alone, and perhaps... being followed... eek

Prox, Manda, Rhiannon
You've made it onto the plains and around you can see various farms scattered here, lands recouping from growing voer previus years. Long grasses grow wild where it remians untamed still. Idyl pounces along, occasionally wandering off slightly and coming back. Nothign really seems out of the ordinary aside the tower that rises up above the plains north fo L'sol. It's an impressive sight, although very forboding and gloomy. L'sol itself has a good wall around it, tall and strong.
You can see the occasional field hand out in fields stopping to watch you, but no one dares come close...

Achan is quite used to nice dense foliage. In fact, she feels very much at home. The demon elf is quite oblivious to anyone who may be following her.
... Kitty, on the other hand, is not. Achan almost trips over the very scared Plushikat, jumping deftly out of the way and tottering before catching her balance.
"Kitty? What's up?"
Someone... someone's here...
"Hmmm~?" The girl is almost a bit too cheerful at those words.

Terr bites her lip, cussing mentally but attempting to remain outwardly calm. One foot nudges the covered staff slowly, as if trying to undo the buckle.
Not yet, Rytheal cautions. Let them think you're helpless. He speaks through their bond - nonmagically to prevent being picked up.
Terr stills and looks to Li for guidance.
The cover on Ryll's bracer is slipping a little - some of the metal is showing - but she doesn't dare call attention to herself by adjusting it.

A pair of dim grey-blue eyes watch Kitty and Achan, about 3 feet off the ground. A soft growl permeates the forest, and some of the birds fall silent at this sound...

Li twitches ehr wings, stepping abck slightly. Show yourself. she says, trying to be brave, but she's obviously afraid. I don't speak to shadows.
Oddly appropriate in a way... I remember you, now... The voice trails, seeming to change locations several times. Yes, you were quite the cold one in the days before the end. Funny you keep company with riffraff like Fire, too. Shameful almost. Who are they all, who is your human? Certainly you foolishly rebonded.
Li flics an ear, obviously confused by some of this. She snorts slightly though and rolls her eyes skyward. I have a human, but she is elsewhere, and loves me. Now show yourself or... or Fire and the other kat will do thigns to you and the humans will make thigns worse for you all! What do you want?! Her voice rose in pitch and volume, almost to an angry yet panicked fervor.
I want many things, I have what I value most, and that is freedom. I don't want fools ruining thigns for what we have fought so hard for... we kats should not subserviate to-- The somewhat imperious tone broke, a pause. You must eb the ones hunting us, you have the Bracer of Water! Give it to me!!
Li hisses then and growls deeply. We give nothing without answers!

Manda watched their surroundings curiously as they walked along.
Fiala, feeling a bit better now that they were actually doing something, had jumped down from her arms and was ranging back and forth, sniffing at things, but not getting too far away. She still felt uneasy here.
Nash was pretty much copying Fiala, but also keeping an eye on his slightly smaller (now) friend. He knew something was bothering her...
((I won't be on tomorrow and might be MIA all weekend ... heading to A-kon ^__^. So if anything major happens, I guess we can just assume my crew is following along or ... something ... XD))

Edward Fell suddenly from the arms of his owner, he looked groggy the potion had done its work well and made him very sleepy but the sound of voices had braught even his confused mind back from the brink of extinction. "YOU, youyou, I KNOW, well yes I KNOW who you are" his voice kept changing tone as he stood there trying to get balance on his little claws his fiery tail flickering the flame lighting higher "come COME COME out here now..now..NIW!" he blinks a few times shaking his crazed little head as he sat and suddenly just started to groom himself cleabning his muddled fur. His eyes lifted once again and he blinked a few times as if trying to remember what the hell he was doing "bad words witht he going of the whee, picking up now, floors cold" he looked at the crowd of eyes and bklinked once again "come out or or I'll just be fire and make with the flaming death of burnyating things" he stood the fur on his neck raising in to a spiked fur "come out come out It'll only hurt for a minuite" He puurrs looking up at his human waiting to be lifted.
Syrius shakes her head softly she really wonderd what was going on, feeling very confused she scooped edward up like a plushie and held him in her arms ruffling his head fur "who are they ed?" she whispers not in the least expecting an answer, he wasn't one for speaking in straight lines.
Ed looks at Syrius and grins maddly "old people..they..I..yes..hmm..with the knowing of the voices in my head..oh yesh!" he blinks several times, did he know them if he did they wern't good they should all be fired in burning heaps of burnyness, yes, that was certainly a good idea.

Rhi walked along with Manda, careful to keep her footsteps quiet. The few farmands watching them didn't seem to be a threat, but she didn't want to find out. Seeing the tower in the distance, Rhiannon sighed softly. "Well, that looks like a cheerful and welcoming place," she muttered.
No it doesn't said Rosie, completely missing the sarcasm in Rhi's voice.
Nanda rolled her eyes, but kept close to Rhi. She wished her real pet were there... Silly girl adopting things, she knew the trip was coming up! But whatever. There was no use in fussing about it now. Nanda kept an eye on Idyl, who kept bouncing away. Silly young one... Should come back, stay with the group...

Terr blinks. Once, twice. Then it hits her. s**t.
This could be an advantage for us, Rytheal murmurs cautiously through the physical bond between them. Speak wisely.
Terr gulps, about to speak, when Ryll leaps onto Rytheal's neck, discarding the crude cover on the bracer. The bracer is ours, she projects in a slightly shaky tone. We have no reason to give it to you. This last statement is backed up by a hiss and a glint from the bracer. Despite herself, Ryll is kind of attached to the thing, and she isn't going to give it up, much less to the hands of a potential enemy, without a fight.
Terr tentatively pokes a little bit of her magic at the bracer, wondering precisely how powerful such an item is.

There was assorted growls and hsises from some fo the kats in the bushes and branches but silence fell.
Liarenne hissed softly, glancing at Ed. Don't burn, you'll kill us all. Her red eyes focused ahead, frost starting to coat the grass before her.
How ineffectual, as always, the voice said, and a tall, lean female shape began to emerge from te bushes. You must be the ones hunting and capturing, to have Water's bracelet.
A wail, piercing and loud broke through, the sound of someone crying.
Hush, ltitle one, your brother is not dead yet, we shall reclaim what is ours and-
The bracer glows a soft white, flashing brightly and illuminating the clearing out to the edge where the shadow walks. As the light fades slightly, the figure looks part human, but with very prominent features like... a plushikat? She snarls, retreating into the dark a buit from this.

Ryll gasps as the bracer's light throbs. How odd.. a human-plushikat? This is a strange planet indeed. Still, she can't help sitting up a little straighter as the light fades, feeling proud to wear the bracer.
Terr withdraws her magic suddenly, awash in the light. This is obviously a strong token, one she is glad to have on her side. She reels, a bit dizzy from the surge of magic so like her own.
What are your intentions, shadow-walker? she demands, directing her question at the female.
Rytheal watches the rest of his party carefully, particularly Li. Did anyone know that they had the bracer until now?

The growl alarms Kitty even more, making her squeak and leap to Achan's shoulders. The sound does nothing to Achan's good humor. In fact, she puts a hand behind her head and crosses one leg over the other, appearing laid back and abashed.
"Yo~ Did we disturb your slumber or something? Awfully sorry 'bout that."
Kitty's eyes grow wider at Achan's apparent non-chalantness. eek
