*The flames burned away at the vines and grew extremely cold as small residual sparks danced across his skin at her touch. It hadn't been noticable before, but around him a fine dust lay suspended just off the ground, deep purple in color and giving off much more light than normal glitery ash should. The tips of the outlined "wings" twitched slightly, but made no definate movements. Torment remained lifeless as the flames that slowly diminished on his body grew ever colder.*

*As Kalie hovered over him in her distraught state the wings moved up and curled around her, flames breaking out within the purple outline. These flames were different, they were not blazing infernos of heat, nor were they cool cleansing flames, but something else entirely. They seemed to draw their strength from Kalie, but were as one with Torment. Each tear seemed to brighten the flames as a sense of Tor passionately kissing Kalie washed over her for a moemnt, followed by other images and sensations assosciated with Torment and their love. The two find themselves floating a few feet off the ground as the sensation of Torment kissing Kalie is replaced by the real thing, his arms wrapping around her as the life slowly pulses back into him, the wings dispersing with a flash.*

*He ran his finger up the side of her face and then ran his hand back through her hair and held her close.*

"Kalie, you have to understand, death comes easily to me, but I want you to know something."

*He kissed his way from one ear to the other, pausing and kissing her passionately on the lips, his tongue mingling with hers befor ehe continued on. As his lips brushed against her other ear he whispered once more.*

"As long as our love remains, immortal I shall be."

"Hey, don't you be poking me. I'm the one that does the poking around here."

*With that he gave her a quick pinch on the a** and swung her around, lifting her off the ground and leaning her against a slanted platform of invisible soul energies, kissing her passionately again. Its not every day you get to kiss a loved one after you die. Might be more often than some with Torment, but its not every day either. As he pulled her back up he glanced back towards the Razor Fields.*

"Perhaps we should go home, maybe get some form of clothing on or something. Perhaps simply take a shower and head for bed."

*He smirked as he fiddled with her self-constructed clothing, running a hand over her exposed skin.*

Tor went darting through the trees, babbling incoherently for the most part, a few small exclaimations breaking through about pain this, vampire that, and something about sandwhiches made from some form of perfectly normal beast.

With her hands neatly tucked behind her back, Kalie rocked back on her heels and let out a low whistle while slowly turning about in a full 360. Pretty much undecided on what to do.. here she was standing in the middle of the Tangle groove. All by herself.. and potentially near the odd little creature responsible for the lightly charred upper room and scream from downstairs.

Judging by the hurriedly crushed forest vegetation and commotion off in the distance Kalie ducked into the trees. Taking a light jog down Torment's frightful path, the sounds of fighting grew louder and became considerably clear. So it wouldn't be surprising that her pace did the same.

Arriving in the defeated clearing of charred vines Kalie fumbled as she hit an invisible wave of heat and tripped backwards. Picking her head up her eyes widened, the cloud of heavy purple glimmers settling throughout the air crashing through her every doubt in a whirlwind. Fanning her arms through the luminescent dust, she followed more cautiously.. fearing whatever laid ahead would be a furious part of Torment's past, not the firebird himself.
