I saw the new remake when it came out last year, It wasn't awesome, but it was decent, especially for the s**t movies that have been coming out the past 10 years. It wasn't super great though, I liked when Paris got killed [obviously] and that part when Vincent in the house, came out from a trap door in the floor, and cut the back of the guys heels [where it hurts like hell] with scissors. Holy cow, i'm still paranoid about standing still and with trap doors under me. Damn that looked like it hurt. I also liked when the guy [that got his heel cut i think] was playing with that fetus and making funny noises for it.

Movie sucked and its another remake. Although Hilton did get impaled so that was a plus for me.

Alkahaim Movie sucked and its another remake. Although Hilton did get impaled so that was a plus for me. Same here. Loved how she ended up in her usual position - down on her knees, with her head propped forwards, and mouth open!!!! As for the remake, didn't need to keep the name if they were going to make a "new" film. Name it something original, like "Paris gets killed". I would have big bucks to see that s**t. Loved the original, wish I knew where to pick up a copy. Nobody sells it. As for Dawn of the Dead remake, I loved it. Didn't care that it was picking fun of consumerism, pretty funny though. My favorite part was the Down With The Sickness remake. That made the movie for me.

I haven't seen the original house of wax so I thought i'd go and watch this re-make. I heard that people were saying it was a terrible film but when I watched it I completely disagreed. It was a great film and I could watch it at least 2 more times

Best part was watching Paris Hilton get slaughtered. Will cherish that moment forever.

You know some remakes are pretty bad.....but this one just BLOWS, yeah it was awful

I saw that this weekend, I thought the best part was the credits with the slightly fast forwarded my chemical romance music. biggrin My fav song too.
I thought the film was s**t tho.

Much as I agree there should be Vincent Price remakes (God, how I agree thanks to House on Haunted Hill...) but they actually say that this house of wax is only loosley based on Vincent's House of Wax (which, by the way, I absolutly LOVE).
And I actually thought it wasn't that bad. ^^ I actually liked the fact that the victims were still alive when they were covered in burning hot liquid wax...Okay, sadism showing, sorry.
The deaths were actually pretty damn cool and it had Jarred Paladeki in it heart

I assume you're speaking of the remake?
Anyway, I found it funny. I loved the part where Paris Hilton died.
But I was sad when... what'shisname... that guy who currently co-stars in 'Supernatural' with Jensen Ackles... anyway, I was sad when he died, because I he's cute.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE....for somereason I just thought it was really good!
I especially loved when Paris got killed, although I have to admit that I did like her character and was a tid bit sad that she didnt survive..I loved that she had a black BF, I thought they were cute together..
Anyways yeah....good movie
