Kai glared at the male, eyes narrowing further as he processed all this information. He was suddenly glad he'd picked up that strange machine he'd spoke to Kage though, though this gave him yet another reason to hate the old man. "Arranged marriages are for idiots who can't get anyone to like them on their own," he growled harshly. "And it shouldn't be allowed unless both people agree to it." You don't need your sword. Make one from ice and kill him! the voice shouted eagerly, but Kai simply clenched his hands more tightly by his sides, trying to keep from lashing out. He didn't want to do anything in front of Skylar. He'd already lost Meghan, and he wasn't sure if he could take another loss like that. In fact, he was pretty sure he couldn't. But he refused to show any sign of desperation or hurt to this male. All he revealed was an extreme anger that was slowly growing.

[I have to go in about eight minutes. xP]

Kai continued growling in his throat, the noise increasing slightly over time. The voice in the back of his head was urging him to attack. The male was standing right there, easily within range. All he had to do to was... Kai shut his eyes tightly, forcing the voice to quiet itself so he could think. He slowly moved forward, walking across the water back to the pair. Each time his foot almost touched the liquid, it would freeze for him, making small steps until he was back on firm ground.

He straightened to his full height, glaring down at the male. He had a full four inches over the male as his tail thrashed dangerously behind him. Kai's eyes flashed angrily as his hands clenched, shaking slightly. A bit of blood dripped from his right as his claws agrivated the wound, but he ignored it entirely. He was still growling as if unable to stop it, fangs bared in his rage. "If neither of you had a choice..." he began, trying so hard to keep his voice from shaking in anger. "Then why did you follow her all the way here? If you care about her, don't you think she should be able to choose whoever she wants?"

[Bed time. xP]

Shadow was walking around the surroundings outside of the school. He didn't expect to find anything but he knew how trouble can find him. He was walking around and saw a good sized hole in the ground and had to explore it. He jumped into the hole and fell into a pool of water.

He quickly climbed out of it and shook off. I HATE GETTING WET!!! He took off his robe and shook off the water. He took his shirt off to, keeping his wings against his back, and wrung it out. He put his shirt and coat back on and looked around the cavern.

Shadow heard someone speak to him. He turned around and saw Roxxan who was rubbing her eyes like she just saw a ghost. ~Did she see my......~ Hey Rox what are you doing down here? He looked at her and noticed she was panting but not really trying to show it. He stepped up to her and pulled out a bottle from his bag. Do you need something to drink???

He handed her the bottle and looked around the cavern. His hair was still wet from landing in the pool of water and he growled. ~I hate getting wet.~ He rubbed his hands in his hair messing it the way it was and started to walk around the cave. I take it you were gonna explore here to, you sure seem to be breathing hard just to have walked here. Or was it my yelling that made you run here?

Koichi looked at the girl who stood behind Kai, his eyes lingering there for a few moments. He lowered them, though, as he clenched his fists, starting to turn. "Have your fun while you can; just know, no one's changing their mind," he said softly, his back to the two. He hesitated for another moment before he started back up the dark slope, back up to the island. So, it's true then, he thought, a tear running down his cheek, she has forgotten what she said.
To him, it was as though his heart had been shattered like glass and even though it had been repaired- if even for a moment- it now lay scattered again. What he didn't understand, though, was what happened to cause her to change her mind so fast.

Skylar looked over at him, shaking her head. "I'm the one who should be appologizing, not you," she said softly, hugging herself. "I... I shoulda known about all this. It's my fault that you got dragged into this..." she trailed off, hoping for forgivness. Why bother? He won't forgive you from that... it's your fault the two nearly slit each others' throats, she told herself, So, how can I go on now? Between the two of them...
