There wasn't many asians playing piano in orange county. I don't think they even taught piano. There were a lot of asians learning violin though. This one kid, Jerry, was reallly really good!

I've been playing peiano for about 8 years. I've gotten lotso trophies, and since my mom wants me to be a doctor (NOOOO MUST GO INTO ART OR GRAPHIC DESIGNING OR OWNING A MAGAZINE!) i asked her why. REcently, we've been fighting alot, and my mom wantso switch my hour lesson to 45 min! NOOO I"LL NEVER ET THE CONCERTO DONE AND MEMERIZED ON TIME!!!! OR THE BACH INVEVTION THAT BEEPS ON MY MOM'S PAGER! IT TAUNTS ME...THE PAGER. So i like piano, I'm pretty good at it...but then again. That's the same with flute.
So back to the question. Asain parent want their kids to learn piano to get the basic fundamental of music. okay?

I've taken piano since I was 9.I used to like it but I absolutely hate it now.I can't exactly say I hate the piano itself since lots of good songs have the piano in them,I'm just not fond of my teacher and the music I have to play.It's classic,which is really boring!!My parents wont let me quit and it's cutting into my life too much! gonk crying

I've been playing since I was 3 and continued. Nonstop. I'm 15 now. I kind of like it for relief, not when I'm forced to.

I dont play piano. I tried once, but I couldnt do it, so i stopped. My parents dont really care much for the piano, and they're asain.

hm i dont play piano.
but i'll have you know piano was my parents' first choice for me for instrument.
i play the violin. >.> the piano school was full nd yeah i get stuck wid a violin.
they say i'll tahkn them someday.. that someday hasnt come yet.

I'm asian and I played piano since when I was little
My parents didn't force me to play piano, I wanted to
and it is kind of fun
I didn't had to perform because it was a private piano class/lesson! 4laugh
I stopped playing piano, but I'm going to continue!

[.day.dreamer.] I`m asian, and I`ve started piano since I was six years of age. When I had those recitals, most of the performers were asian. Especially this year, when I my score was distinction, most of them were asians??
I`ve always thought this weird .. what do you thinkk?? I've never had to play the paino
